I just left the nail bar. My first time going I came across this spot online and it’s 5 minuets away from me. I booked an appointment my technician was 30 minuets behind schedule. What’s the whole point on scheduling an appointment and crazy thing is if your late you get charged $20.00. The place is small and is set up as a bar. You can have a drink while getting your nails done love this. The staff are friendly and nice. I had a gel soak off and gel manicure which cost me a whopping $60.00 they are overly price for sure but then again you’re in the throgs neck area of the bronx. Overall I will have to give this place a 2nd time and hopefully my visit will run smoothly and not take over than 2 hours!!! Read Less

I love this place!! Everyone who works there is pleasant and welcoming. Denise is amazing!!  She treats me so well, her work is amazing. I am always excited to see what she's going to do with my nails! She is a great listener and makes your vision a reality and sometimes surpasses all your expectations. Recently found this place earlier this year however I'm a new mom and barely have any time between work and my now one year old however my birthday is coming up so decided to try this place! After 2-3 days of calling with no answer I almost gave up however on my 3rd day I gave it one more chance and I was able to get a same day appointment right after work. I literally love my nails. The shop is small and very cute. Feels like a girls night. I walked in a few minutes before my appointment and I was able to get fight started. I was offered wine or beer and also pizza. I have to say going to many different nail salon places this is truly my favorite place that I have ever been to. Friendly atmosphere and everyone makes u feel very comfortable. I have sensitive cuticles and get cut very easy so when I told Denise Padilla she  was so understand. I have to say my first experience with her was remarkable she was so gentle. Extremely overpriced! Over $120 dollars spent for a full set and two designs on two nails, and plus tip. The manicurist was extremely unprofessional, as she took a personal call during my appointment. She argued with her husband and it was awkward. At the end, she was rushing because her next client came in, perhaps arguing while at work is not the best idea. In addition the place does not appear to be the cleanest. I really enjoyed myself at this nail salon. The staff was really on point with everything. They're very attentive, very talented, and very friendly. My girlfriend and I had mani & pedi's and talked a whole lot of girl talk and the other nail techs and clients got in on the convo and we just had a fabulous time. I HIGHLY recommend this place...be ready to spend but I feel you get what you pay for and it was definitely WORTH every penny. Just went there today for the first time. After all the reviews I expected to love it but after paying $70 for a acrylic full set that was lifting just 10 minutes after I left I was so disappointed. My nails were lifting, the polish wasn't applied right, dust particles were all inside the gel and I ended up with a bumpy top coat. I went to The Nail Bar after a friend had recommended that I try them out. It was easy to find and there was parking available on the street. The only thing that didn't make me give them 5 stars was my 1 hour waiting time. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 pm with Cariesha and I wasn't in her chair until 3:30ish. Once I finally got in her chair, she started doing someone's eyelashes. So while sitting there, I found myself getting agitated, until the owner, Janet (who is so friendly and inviting by the way) offered me a slice of pizza. At first I declined, but then after sitting and realizing lashes take time applying them, I took her up on her slice. After I finished my slice, I was offered a complimentary glass of wine. You had the option to choose from red or white. I couldn't complain too much about the wait if I'm eating pizza and sipping wine. The staff was extremely nice and sweet. The Nail Bar makes you feel like you're hanging with your girls. The conversation is hilarious between the nail techs and customers. It's a very inviting place.I even had a problem with my card and Cariesha allowed for me to come back with cash to pay the rest of my balance. Absolutely the place to go!! Beautifully decorated nail salon unlike no other Marilyn Monroe is the theme queen! Great pleasurable ambience, friendly staff, entertaining conversations, and the only salon with the most up to date nail supplies and products. Most salons I've visited have your typical acrylic, gel, etc., but this place shocked me with products I didn't even know existed in the market. The artwork and detail put into every nail set is unbelievable they are defini...tely artists by far!!! The artwork is all done free hand which takes talent, time, and dedication so you know your nails are being catered to the minute you have a seat in one of their bar stools while of course you sip on your glass of wine (completely optional up to the customers discretion of course). Janet (the owner) is an absolute gem. Her skills have surpassed any nail technician that has ever touched my hands. The nail designs are like anything you've ever seen before. Every time I walk out of there I cant stop starring at my nails. I can bring her any design, picture or idea and she always does a beautiful job mastering the task at hand. Every time I post pictures on instagram and facebook I get an abundance of likes and comments. People are always asking to see my n...ails and commenting on how beautiful my nails are.
