I have been going to Elegance for over a year. I do SNS powder and they seem to be the only salon in the area that provides high quality SNS and a ton of colors (over 150 colors!). I have never had a problem with pedicures, they keep the stations very clean and do their best to ensure you are comfortable. The spa pedicure is amazing! An additional service are their spa facials, so relaxing and their expert did a lovely job last I went. The owner Andy tries really hard to engage with customers and make sure they are happy. Love Elegance Nail Salon. Staff is always professional and willing to please their customers. All the technician's work very hard and they are very pleasant. I've been getting my manicure and pedicure here for over 8 years and I have always experienced excellent customer service. Sometimes I choose a color that I really don't like after they are done and if I'm not satisfied, Andy has always states come back and I'll change your color. I don't bother because I chose the color not the staff. The staff is always cleaning making sure all equipment is sanitize. I have never had an issue with the place being dirty or smelling the fumes from that I've experienced in other nail salons. Products are top of the line, nothing cheap being used here. Read Less

I've been to this nail salon about three times. I am normally pleased with their services until this week when during my fill in the nail tech cut me with the buffer. Any experienced person knows new buffers can be quite sharp. She was buffing my nails quite furiously and seemed annoyed when she began my service. She did not apologize when she cut my finger and my services were not discounted. I won't be back. The manager saw she cut me and also said nothing. Very poor customer service. Read Less

I ran in to get a pedicure a couple days before Easter. I should have known not to go in when they could take me right away as I had already been to 2 other salons who were extremely busy. First they tried to up sell everything from the entire pedicure to the top coat. I basically got my feet washed and my toenails, toes and shoes polished. Worst experience ever. She didn't even scrub the bottom of my feet when I didn't want to pay extra for the callous remover.  Spend your money elsewhere. Read Less

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I waned to get acrylics one day; just to treat myself. I walked in and asked how much for the tips. They IMMEDIATELY sat me down and started doing this molding or whatever (not sure what it's called) I kept asking "how much?" And she finally said $60. So I said no please just do tips and she was acting annoyed the whole time. Like really? You literally just physically sat me down. THE WHOLE TIME while I was getting my nails done every single worker kept asking me to fill out for a card. Like every 5 minutes. I said no over and over again. I felt very uncomfortable and I did not like the work at all. I came here because it was highly recommended. I did not like the pricing for such terrible work. Very unprofessional, then Lady that did my pedicure did a horrible job, didn't clean my cuticle well and they Polish was over there nail bed, at that I have a yellow toe nail from over polishing my toe nail he screamed out that I had nail fungus....which I don't. Read Less

I moved to the area 7 years ago. It wasn't until 5 years ago I got tired of traveling to the other side of the bronx to get my nails doine that I decided to enter Elgance Nails &Spa and I have no compliants. Before coming here I would have my nails wraped and they always peeled off. Like you peel a tangerine. I never understood why. I spent a lot of money month to month. Wrapping, rewrapped and fill-ins every week. But once at elegance nails one of the technicians said to me that my nail beds were too oily and that is why the wraps would peel off. It was then after 12 years of wraping my nails I was advised to not wrap them anymore and let them grow naturally.   Andy recommended I take botin for my nails, hair and skin. In addition, he recommended organic products to use on my nails to help them grow and repair the damage of 12 years of wraping with poor low grade products. My nails now are long, healthy and beautiful. The technicians here are very nice, they know your name and the best part is when you walk in through the door they yell out your name. Sometimes it feels like the show "Cheers" you know where everyone knows your name! I find it so welcoming. Read Less

My wife bought a gift cert for a friend. Facial, manicure and pedicure. Friend only used facial and manicure. Decided not to use pedi and told my wife to use it. I was going to Elegance for about 4 years and they were good. Their downfall: They constantly ask the customers to buy stuff. And then tell you that you need it. They are also closed in Sunday's now which is a pain in the butt when that's the day some customers can make it. What turned me off for sure was that I got there an hour before they opened but unfortunately there were only 3 technicians. Because there were 3 customers there before me, I had to wait which would have been fine except he told me to come back in 2 hours so that the first three girls would be done and then My daughter and I would be next.  I got there half hour earlier thinking that would be better. By the way, the first three girls weren't done yet, so I thought I was safe. Nope!  Not only did he take 3 other girls, he said I had to wait again. Did I mention I was there an hour before he opened???  That is not how you treat a customer who has been going there every two weeks for gel manicure and spa pedicure along with her daughter. I've been going to Elegance on and off for the last 10 years and I finally gave up on other places.  The salon is spotless and they have the best technicians in the Bronx.  I've never been burned during waxing (and I have sensitive skin) and the gel acrylic manicure stays on for weeks and I never have had a fungus.  I can't explain to you how good they are, you really have to try. And I'm a total pain in the neck when it comes to this stuff.  If you're close, just do it.  And they try and sell you a bunch of crap that you may or nay not need, just say no (wax your toes, callus remover, etc.) Read Less
