I was excited to check this place out since I received a gift certificate for my birthday. I don't generally like getting manicures, but I was not disappointed! Charme Nail Studio is cute and charming. ;) Upon arrival, my friend and I were asked if we would like a warm neck pillow. Heck yes! I set up an appointment for the Nail Rescue treatment since I pick my nails a lot. My friend came initially for a quick IBX nail treatment. They were gracious enough to let her do the Bij...ou manicure as well since time permitted. Rachel was very kind and explained all that she was doing with the IBX treatment. My friend and I went for pedicures Sunday. We made our appointments from their website link which worked very well and then those appointments were honored. The chairs were very comfortable including the cute pups you can elect to have on your lap. Martina taught us what to look for when tools are brought out in the autoclave sanitizing envelopes to make sure that a salon is actually using the autoclave, not just using the envelopes. The scrub and coconut butter wrap that they make themselves felt wonderful. My feet felt and looked better than the results from any other salon. My #1 spot for self-care, puppy love, and relaxation! I had been waiting for a place like this to come to Tacoma. I’ve been going to Charme since it opened and appreciate so much about this place - the atmosphere, there’s little to no foot traffic, the space is bright and charming (especially on our rainy days). I’ve now seen every nail tech!! EACH of them is kind, professional, and so knowledgeable on sanitary skin care! I love that they specialize in natural nails and don't tear up my nails like other salons. They didn't cut my cuticles, the salon doesn't smell of acrylic nails and chemicals and they are so nice. It has a spa like atmosphere and is modern and lovely. I'm glad I found them! Read Less

Called mid morning and was able to get in on my lunch break. Very clean and lots of options for the gel manicure I wanted. Had a young girl named Serena and she did amazing. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and what I was hesitant about with it she came up with the perfect way to incorporate it... plus she made the color by knowing what two colors to lay on top of each other. I went bc I was in desperate need of a pedicure and was visiting from out of town. my brother and sister law have businesses on the same street.I don't remember the technicians name, but she was a recent grad of a cosmetology program, very skilled and friendly. she gave me great leg scrub followed by a fabulous leg massage. she did an excellent and careful job on my toes. it was a 30$ pedicure/polish and I have her a well deserved 15% tip. well worth it!the shop had been recently painted and was very clean. my only regret was that I didn't have time for a manicure bc then I would have been able to see the tv which was broadcasting the rio olympics!I will go back next time I'm in town. Went here to get a quick gel polish put on - I didn't have time for the full mani. I had Cindy and she was really nice, the place was also nice looking. They have a cute little Pomeranian puppy that walks around too. My only problem was the price, usually I can just get a gel polish put on for $15 but here is was $20, no clue how much a full mani is.  I would go back but only if I didn't have time to get to another one of my usual spots because of the price. I just left My Nails and had a wonderful experience. I love that when you make an appointment, they actually take you at that time. They are not afraid to say they don't have time.
