I went to this nail salon a few weeks ago & I got the gel manicure.... 3-4 days later my gel polish started to stain & then fade. By the 7th day it was chipping! Gel does not chip! Especially after 1 week! I waited for my trip back to the city & got them redone the right way & with GOOD quality gel polish. Not that cheap gel that they're using here. Read Less

The new building is beautiful but I’m undecided about returning at this point. I went for a pedicure today and was told that I couldn’t get gel nail polish for a pedicure, my tech didn’t use toe separators, and they don’t have any spray available to use while waiting for the polish to dry. Their prices are great but when you have to request a receipt and are told that since you used cash to pay for it they won’t be getting you one, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Read Less

I went to the salon a week ago with my friend to get her nails done and the woman who did my nails was sweet but my nails already look like they are going to come off. My friend noticed that her thumbnail was cracked right after we left. The pricing and salon was nice but I thought the manicure would have lasted longer since it was gel polish. Read Less

WOW - This place is fabulous. All the techs are experienced, and friendly. There’s very little wait time, and the equipment is clean, and sanitized. The owners are so amazing, and make you feel welcomed. A must for yourself or groups. Read Less

I went to Tommys Nails for the first time on 12/22 - asked for a Manicure w/ powder polish ($42 w/tip). Once the color was applied and dried, the technician said - Ok, nails are done. I was taken aback because she did not do any cuticle work/cleaning/trimming. No massage. As I was leaving I asked the lady at the desk whether this was standard...she directed me to the owner. He indicated I didn't get a 'manicure'. That if I wanted a full manicure, it would have been $8 more. The price list on the wall did not indicate that a "full manicure" was extra to the pricing for powder polish, nor was that explained or offered when I sat down. He insisted I had to ASK for a Manicure!! Has anyone else experienced such nonsense??!! $42... Never again. Read Less

Definitely the best nail salon in the binghamton area. All of the services are reasonably priced, the technicians are good at what they do, and the polish lasts for quite a while. I'm a college student from out of the area and I was nervous to get eyebrow waxes here, but the lady does a fantastic job every time! Good work for a good price.My gel manicures and pedicures always last a long time when I get my nails done here. The salon is clean and the owner and employees have always been friendly. I'm a college student from out of town & was looking for a consistent nail salon. One of the girls I work with recommended this place to me so I figured I'd try it. I called and they told me it would be 10min wait.. I go there and it's an hour wait.. so I pick out my color and wait. The polish accidentally slips and falls on the ground. The man at the front desk tells me to go get towels and clean it up. One, I do not work there..  Two, the tone in which he spoke to me was completely disrespectful...accidents happen, I still went to get the paper towels and clean it up. As I'm back there getting the paper towels I'm picking out a new color. The man comes back & tells me I need to put the polish down, go clean up the polish that dropped, wash my hands and then pick out a color. I explain to him the polish fell on accident and that I did not throw it on the ground and he said " I don't care"...He was so disrespectful and rude each time he spoke to me, I placed the paper towels down and left. The best nail salon in Binghamton! I go to BU and I wish I discovered it earlier in my college career. Everyone is so friendly and they do an awesome job. Also, the best eyebrow waxing I've ever had. I will never go there again. I went to get a manicure and the women that did my nail not only cut into my skin and made me bleed, she never apologized AT ALL..
