Horrible horrible experience, never going here again! The girl that sits behind the counter has a very bad attitude & did a very poor job! She rushed to do my nails & did not do what I had asked for. ...
Horrible horrible experience, never going here again! The girl that sits behind the counter has a very bad attitude & did a very poor job! She rushed to do my nails & did not do what I had asked for. Also this place is unsanitary, I did not see anyone open up fresh new packs at all while I was there. The man that was at the counter when you first walk in was very nice and understanding about the whole situation but never again. 1st and last time going to this location. I highly suggest Lu Lu's Nail Spa in Mount Sinai.

Some of these reviews might be fake because I come here to get my eyebrows done every couple of weeks. And I needed my nails done quick so I took a chance. My GEL manicure was terrible peeling off after a couple of days, was filed crooked, burned when I put my nails in the UV dryer. And with my regular pedicure the polish started to peel a day later and my pedicures usually last at least 2 weeks. Also looks like they reuse the disposable liners for the pedicures GROSS!! I noticed the liner had residue of blue before she even started the water. They don't seem to care about the customers the lady that did my nails snatched her tip from me not even a thank you. I will never get my nails done here again!!

I HAVE NEVER Had Such A Horrid experience in a Nail place. This was my first time in this Establishment. I needed a Basic Pedicure and Manicure. I usually bring my own colors simply because I like to select what I want in advance and buy quality nail polish brands. The only reason I selected one star is simply to warn others about this place,PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE!!
I do not mind paying good money if you do a good job at my nails,I am a great tipper as I know what it is like to work in this industry.
This person I had was trying to push for a higher priced pedicure and manicure,I gently explained to them that right now I just wanted the basics covered and that in my following visit I would gladly do an upgraded service. The minute I mentioned that she was visibly upset and started to rush my pedicure. She never cleaned my cuticles nor pushed them back and the botched nail polish job was horrid. She then proceeded to get upset when I mentioned how I did not like how my toes looked at all and I told her my cuticles looked horrible,she retorted "I pushed back"-I told her I no longer wanted my manicure done. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Had I had a decent experience I would have gladly returned for a Spa package pedicure or manicure,But if a Nail place cannot even accomplish a Basic mani and pedi,Why would I want to give you my business Ever again?
UPDATE: After speaking with Danny,He stated he would re-do the pedicure over the phone free of charge. I had written my review prior to actually speaking to Him. I appreciate the effort on his part but the professionalism was completely lacking. He made me feel uncomfortable and the rest of his employees were speaking about me in their language while he selected the person to do my pedicure. He was loudly speaking in front of all of the clientele about the above review which was done because of the experience I had. Lucky for him,Coming from a customer service background myself,I KNOW what it is like to give Good customer service and though he re-did the pedicure,the way he spoke especially mentioning how I also work in the mall (Based off of my uniform)was uncalled for and Classless.
I have to Commend LUCY who did my pedicure over. She did such a Wonderful Job and I would have been returning simply for her because of how she did but unfortunately I still stand with my choice of not returning here after this experience. I am standing by with complete honesty and this whole experience left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I am SO happy to have stumbled across Signature Day Spa, Keyla is the absolute best nail artist I have ever been able to find. She truly is an artist that cares if you are leaving happily or not - making sure to always give you her best work. Everything is one on one, so you never have to feel rushed or like you don't matter along with the seventeen other customers trying to get their nails done, waiting in a walk in line at the same time (it's the worst).
I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to my gels and let me tell you, Keyla nails it every time (did ya catch that pun?) but really, she does, my pointer finger is weird and crooked and my nail ALWAYS gets put on looking more crooked than ever before. But she totally got it perfectly, noting that indeed, my finger is crooked... however, somehow this woman got it right and straight looking.
To top it all off, she's totally down to get crazy with designs and challenge herself when it comes to something on the more unique side. I tell ya, I look forward to testing her artistic abilities!

I have been coming here for 7 years since i’m 13. I absolutely love the french & ombré acrylics done here, you just have to find the right person for you everyone has different preferences . I would stay away from the girls who do acrylics in the first 2 chairs to the left, everybody to the right and towards the back are great. Always seated in the same station so it should be obvious, although sometimes things are priced a bit high.. I usually walk out satisfied and loving my acrylics . There have been a few times where i haven’t been happy with the wait or service , only on weekends so usually i go during the week. Kayla & Vivian are great

Yo if you want top notch expertise and quality go to this place. Best nail salon I've ever been in and I've been to my fair share. I always ask for the man named Ricky. He speaks well and communicates with me as he goes about the length of my nail and the shape and the color. I always get in grown toe nails in my big toe I've even had to get then surgically removed and he is very knowledgeable about how to get them out. He is very gentle and pays attention to details. He even has shown me how to get them out myself the right way so my skin doesn't grow more into the nail and make the problem worse. I've never had to wait to get in here. The massage chairs are amazing and the whole place is very clean. With the pedicures they do a whole range of things like a leg scrub/massage and the water even changes colors. Jack is very knowledgeable about his craft and does a fantastic job every time. I visit here every time I'm in town and highly recommend you do the same! Love this place!!!

I'm giving 5 stars just to Rosie. She does my eyebrows all the time and I've never had a problem with her. She takes her time, is very friendly and always does my eyebrows how I want them. As for the rest of the spa: I give 1 star, I got gel nails for my wedding and a pedicure. The worst! Was told they couldn't do gel on toes, toe nail polish was peeling that same night. Aside from that the people were so rude and kept rushing me. I will never get my nails done here again!

Horrible horrible experience, never going here again! The girl that sits behind the counter has a very bad attitude & did a very poor job! She rushed to do my nails & did not do what I had asked for. Also this place is unsanitary, I did not see anyone open up fresh new packs at all while I was there. The man that was at the counter when you first walk in was very nice and understanding about the whole situation but never again. 1st and last time going to this location. I am SO happy to have stumbled across Signature Day Spa, Keyla is the absolute best nail artist I have ever been able to find. She truly is an artist that cares if you are leaving happily or not - making sure to always give you her best work.
