I’ve been meaning to write a review for a month now!! And almost forgot with my wedding just two weekends ago and my honeymoon right after! I moved to Saratoga last summer, and had my eyebrows microbladed back home in Plattsburgh. I searched high and low for someone local! A friend from my home town recommended reisa! Obviously i was nervous at first even having them done before because let’s face it, it’s YOUR FACE her attention to detail really eased my mind. She didn’t start until the outline was 100% perfect! I just had my eyebrows Microbalded with with Reisa. I am on day 2 of healing but so far so good! The shape of my new brows are absolute perfection!! Reisa took over an hour to come up with the shape of my brows using measuring tools and a fancy phone application that helps her to find the correct symmetry. Right now my brows are dark (I am a blonde) but if all goes according to plan the way that the healing process is supposed to, they will lighten and soften up. I will come ...back and review again once they do. I am looking forward to that :) My only suggestion to you if you are looking to have them done, would be to have the numbing cream applied before the process starts, and during. Had my first fill in (volume lashes) a few weeks ago when I first moved to the area, excited to go back for my next one. Reisa did my eyelash extensions today and they are fabulous! Not only did she email me immediately even though they were closed, she offered me a time slot asap to my desire. I have been looking for a new place to get a good pedicure for awhile now and came across this spa. I figured I would give it a try since they had a specific pedicure for troubled feet, which is what I have. It was a bit pricey for me, $75 plus tip for a pedicure?! But I gave it a shot. Reisa was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable.. BUT she used a razor on my feet and cut me. It bled for quite awhile even after I left. By the next day, my polish had chipped so much that I had to re-polish my toes. It ended up being a huge waste of money. I so badly wanted to like this place, but I will not be returning. Read Less

Reisa is an amazing and talented esthetician/artist. My eyelash extensions Are amazing!! I'm blonde with lighter eyelashes and hate not wearing mascara! With the lash extensions not only are my lashes now darker they are also longer and fuller. I wake up feeling beautiful! Quit a bad habit and get eye lash extensions instead! Lol! reisas facials are amazing too! My face recently went into a funk due to some changes in my health and needed some serious facial detox. Reisa cus...tomizes facials to your skins needs at the time of service! She even made a custom mask for me with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I am new to the area and was in need of a Brazilian wax. This place had pretty good reviews so I decided to check it out. I was getting "sugaring" done for the past year but before that I was getting waxes pretty regularly. This place is very nice (a beautiful Victorian house) and the receptionist was very friendly. The lady who did the waxing, Reisa, was also very nice and made me feel comfortable. She also said she used hard wax in the more sensitive areas because it hurts less. (It did) Now for the bad part...All of the other places I have been to have you roll over and "spread your cheeks" to get those terrible hidden hairs. (Which is pretty embarrassing at first, but worth it). She didn't do this ensuring she got them all from the front (impossible).  When I got home and did my little inspection, there were A LOT of missed hairs all over. The hard wax, though it hurt less, was also a lot less efficient at removing hair. Every other wax I've had done, the lady has also gone back with tweezers to get the strays that may have been missed (Reisa did not do this either). For the amount of money I paid ($75 plus tip), I feel that I shouldn't have had to come home and tweeze to finish the job, and I will have to shave the other areas. I'm pretty disappointed and will not be returning for any more brazilian waxes. Read Less

Stopped by Living Well last week for my first Brazilian of the season. The center is clean and quaint. The receptionist friendly. Reisa and I had a fabulous conversation during the treatment ... and I have to say, it was one of the most painless waxes I've ever had done. She's my girl for waxing from now on. If you are looking for the best facial ever, look no further. Reisa is the owner of this quaint spa in ballston spa. She is the best esthetian ever. Every year, my friends and I come up from nj for a weekend in saratoga, and it is a must for us to stop in to see reisa. She gives the best, most thorough facial ever. Every time I walk out of there, i feel like my face is glowing! Reisa knows her stuff and I have visited her with occasion difficult breakouts and she manages to clear them up every time.  I have had great difficulty finding an esthetian that I trust but Reisa is the best around.
