PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I should have heeded caution based on all the other AWFUL reviews here. I have been getting gel manicures for 4 years and nails done in general for many, and I can tell you that this place has no clue how to a) treat customers (read: they ignore you and speak in a foreign language over your questions the entire time); b) have no problem telling you that you are the worst customer they have ever had (granted, this is after I told them I would never step foot into their salon again, but I guess the days of good customer service are gone, or shall I say in their case, never existed to begin with); c) incorrectly charge your credit card claiming you tipped on the card even though you tipped in cash and are unwilling to show you a copy of their receipt on which you allegedly wrote a tip amount; d) charge you for "extra" services without telling you that there will be an extra charge and then when you call to question them they tell you "you just don't remember anything from that day," again, these are direct quotes from an actual experience; e) the gel manicure they produced took nearly AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES and 3 TECHNICIANS to complete because they do not know how to paint the entire nail, and they have extremely poor UV/LED light machines, literally one was worse than the other and at one point my entire first coat had to removed and they had to restart the manicure. For what they charge - $40 for a gel manicure, they should at least have updated machines and technicians that know how to properly apply the gel. RUN from this place. Not a fancy salon but they get the job done et a reasonable price for the Hamptons.  Manicure $17 Pedicure $28 Extra $10 for French.   Manager and staff always friendly and pleasant to me.  If you want a high end salon experience feel free to go to one on the many ritzy spas in the area and spend double! Disappointing, Needed my nails done for a weeding. there was a young girl it appeared to be the manager or the daughter of the owners, I came in as a walk in, asked for mani. waited for 5 min and got seated, when I asked if I they had time for a pedi this girl laughed in my face and said NO, with an attitude which was kinda mean but whatever. After treating myself and my cousin to pedicures and manicures, we had to come home and buff our heels because they were still quite rough.  The woman that did my manicure/pedicure was not the least bit friendly and cut me more than once when doing my cuticles.  Don't give them your money ladies. This place is filthy dirty. I went a few years ago and got fungal infections in both my hands and feet. One of my toenails even fell off. I tried giving them another chance this summer because they are still in business and the place is always packed. The same thing happened: fungal infection. Stay away! This place is completely unsanitary. How the Board of Health has not shut them down is beyond me. Read Less

The place is just plain weird!! no one greets you, the manicurist does not talk to you, they get a pedicure done in 15 minutes, place looks dirty.  when given feedback about the customer service the person at the desk smiled a creepy smile and rolled her eyes.  It is all about the volume and not about the quality.  Awful Read Less

I have been a year-round customer at Hampton Nails for several years and just love this place!  Lee, the owner, is always courteous and professional and the salon, itself, is always super clean.  I have nothing but praise for Hampton Nails and am relieved to be able to get a great mani-pedi, at a reasonable price, right in my neighborhood. The owner or manager (who refused to give me his name when I called) is EXTREMELY RUDE. He is rude to his customers and employees. A few reasons why I gave  this business 1 star..The manicure lasts only a day if that before the polish starts to chip. He  wants to charge $15.00 for a manicure that doesn't last more than a day? That doesn't really make sense. You can not make an appointment  for waxing . The. 4 or 5 times that I have stopped in  I am always told to come back.  It's becoming extremely frustrating .  I don't live close  by. I wok about 5 minutes away. I've gone on my lunch break and after work and I am always told the same thing . I am sorry , but I am not going to keep stopping by and I am told the same thing . The problem is there is not enough help. There are so many better places that treat there customers with respects. Read Less

TERRIBLE.  the owner or manager of the store is rude and treats his customers and staff the same.he also runs an UNSANITARY practice.  he was going to re-use cuticle cutter from me to someone else without sanitizing it.  I made a comment about it and he told me it is none of my business.this is probably why its so inexpensive here - there is no practice and method of cleanliness.  he just wants the volume of customers.
