I have been going to Strut 2 years on the recommendation of my friend Jen. I started out by going for the bray bros and have never looked back. Loretta gives me an AWESOME massage every 6 weeks. Kaitlin makes my eyebrows look FIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNEEEEEEE. Leanne is the most wonderful and talented hairstylist. I had to enlist Randi as my stylist- who is incredible. She personalized each of our makeup and we had unique styles. She made me feel gorgeous as well as my sister the bride and my mother! We had such a great experience laughing and joking, while always maintaining a professional atmosphere. I would highly recommend her for any event and I wish I lived closer because I would be getting regular treatments. When I am in town, I will be by! I've been going to Strut since they opened, love it! I go to Ceara for my haircuts, but have had facials and an eyebrow re-design and wax from Caitlin as well. I've been going to Strut for the past few years and have been seeing Randi for my haircut and color. I LOVE Randi - she is fantastic! Not only is she an awesome person, I love how she cuts and styles my hair. I have been so disappointed with salons and stylists in the past that when I would get a cut, I don't even ask the stylist to style my hair because I usually dislike it. Randi listens to what the client wants, but also advises what is best for the client based on the hair type, face shape, etc. I have asked for things for my hair where Randi has wisely advised me against! The salon is small but very well decorated. The place feels posh without being pretentious. All of the people that I have interacted with have been friendly and down to earth. I first came to Strut because I had received a gift card and had my eyebrows done by Kaitlin (also excellent). Prices are also very reasonable for the services. I highly recommend Randi and Strut. I have been to Strut twice now for Devacurl haircuts, and I couldn't be happier! Maria is my stylist. She was recommended to me by a friend of my mom's because we both have extremely curly hair and this is what Maria specializes in. If you have curls, I'm sure you know what a nightmare it can be finding a hair stylist who knows how to deal with them, let alone do them any justice.Maria is specially trained in the Devacurl method, which is completely centered around the unique needs and characteristics of curly hair. She tends to cut my hair dry, which I like because then I have an idea of how short it will be in the end (unlike when it's cut wet and springs up about half a foot.) She spends time on each curl and uses the Devacurl brand shampoo, conditioner and gel to style my hair. I'm pretty picky about what I put in my hair (I only use organic, chemical-free products) and Devacurl is one of the better (though not completely chemical-free) salon brands for hair health, so I appreciate this.This particular kind of haircut and style takes a pretty long time -- usually about 45 minutes to an hour -- between the precision cut and all of the styling, scrunching and curl separation, so it doesn't seem crazy that Maria's haircut/style can cost $30-$40. The best part is that my hair always grows out beautifully when she cuts it, so I can go two months or so between cuts, which makes it more economical for my (ultra slim) wallet. Oh, I forgot to mention that Maria's personality is amazing! She's so funny, easy going and just ...Real. I am kind of a weirdo and have had so many awkward times just sitting in stylists' chairs not having anything to talk about. This is never the case with Maria, who makes it feel like more of a catch-up session with a friend than a necessary chore. I'm getting married this summer and plan to have my hair and/or makeup done by the ladies at Strut. There isn't much else I have nailed down in terms of wedding planning, but I feel super confident that at least I'll look fantastic if these talented ladies are involved. :) Read Less

I was VERY pleased with Randi Vogel's service and the artistic edge she gave to my new look. I was recently in a wedding where the bride had two hairstylists and one makeup artist from Strut come out to the venue for us. The two girls that did our hair were Micaela and Sarah, and Kaitlin did our makeup.All of the girls were more than satisfied with how their hair turned out. Sarah did some great braid work on two of us, and her and Micaela helped to put flowers all over our hair. That part wasn't planned, but they went with the flow and everyone looked great.Kaitlin's makeup looked excellent on everyone, even the girls who were reluctant to get it done for fear of it being too heavy or just not their style.I'd highly recommend them for whatever you need! One piece of advice would be to bring cash since the hair, makeup, and nail services are all separate and have to be paid for as such. Read Less
