So bad so bad so bad!!! Because it is not in my nature to want to hurt other people I am not going to name the stylist I saw who left me with highlights bad enough to prompt me to write this poor review of Color Bar. Suffice to say, I was horrified by the awful results of my hair. I mean clearly she messed up big time and she knew it! I felt cheated of time and money, and was hurt by the owner’s blame shifting when she wanted to make me pay to fix it because I’d had to cancel a prior appointment. In the past I had a wonderful experience with another stylist at the same establishment, so it’s too bad I’ll not be able to work with her again. But I’d never go back. Read Less

Over the years and there are many, I have been to many stylists who were ok, but rarely seemed to understand what I wanted. That is until Natalia. Now I am always happy with my hair. I change my mind a lot on how I want it done and Natalia just calmly and sweetly rolls with the many changes..... such as shoulder cut, Bobb, a pixie or what ever the mood strikes. Been going here since I moved to Santa Fe and I'll NEVER go anywhere else as long as I live here! I came in with a hair emergency and Cindy has nursed me back to health. Absolutely love this place! Nikki is honestly the best! I was so scared to get my hair done due to bad incidents in the past. Thank god Nikki was recommended!! Cindy is just amazing! I have been getting my cut and color done with her for the past six months and could not be happier. I have been to quite a few stylists since moving to Santa Fe and Cindy is by far the best. She always knows exactly what I want with my hair even if I don’t knock w how to describe it. I am the type of person to only cut my hair once a year, but since I started going to Cindy for my cut and color, I will be going more regularly. The salon location is nicely decorated without being too stuffy or even "too much". Cindy asks very specific questions on my color and cut requests which is great because I know she understands the details and impact to the look.  I asked for a lob, which I have asked for in the past from other stylists and was very happy how my hair turned out with her. Nikki did such a great job on my hair color!!! I was looking for something not terribly natural looking (dark pink) and she got it perfect on her first attempt. Not easy. Amazing. My daughter and I love her and she has a beautiful and enormous talent for what's she does. We also have very long hair and she doesn't mind taking care of it and never once has asked "so, when do you want to cut your hair?", which most hairdressers that we have gone to asked.
