I took an out of town friend there today, 3/22/18 b/c the place I normally go to was booked for weeks and could not take walk-ins which I figured but was hopeful. This place was close to where we were and there was no wait and now I know why.....if I could assign no stars I would. Unprofessional, no one seems to care, I was charged for a "buffing" of my toenails; I didn't want polish and was charged $5.00 for buffing. I had requested (they kept trying to add services on) that I wanted a basic pedicure and nothing extra. My friend had her toes painted and paid $19.00, I had no polish but wanted my nails to be buffed instead and I was charged $25.00. Will never go back! Read Less

I was so disappointed by my experience at this salon that I had to leave a review. Just upon walking in, the fumes are almost unbearable because there is no air circulation. They told me to pick out a color and I could already tell by the brands they carry that this would not be a long- lasting gel manicure. Then, the manicurist put lotion on my hands as the first step in the process! By the time I noticed what was happening, it was already too late. My nails were chipping off a day later and completely off in a week. I am new to the area and I went here because they seemed to have the most flexible hours and they allow walk-ins. If I could give this place a no star i would!!!!! Literally just left there. I have never been so unhappy. With the outcome of a manicure before! I just want to cry because I'm so pissed off. With what my nails look like. All my finger nails seem the same size as my thumb nails. They used so much acrylic that they are literally popping out in 3D form... I will NEVER EVER go back here. Or give them a recommendation to anybody!!! It was my first time going there. Rushed and sloppy and rude. Husband, daughter and I all had mani pedis. Daughters pedi and gel mani were lovely. My toes and nails look awful. Husband nails are sloppily done as well (especially his cuticles). Would have been more assertive but daughter is getting married later today and i wasn't up for the stress of haggling at nail salon. Loll I can't believe I am doing a review for a nail salon but, there goes my manhood. Haha no, but seriously every guy once in their lifetime needs to either get a mani or pedi done. Treat yo' self. Well I decided one fine afternoon, I was going to get a pedi done. The pedi was exactly how I imagined it was going to be. Faboloussss lolll They treat you nice when you walk through the door and price for the procedure was affordable. The lotions and creams that they use afterwards were also very soothing and I felt like my feet were finally hydrated after years and years of dress shoes. Come in and give this place a try. In town for a girls weekend so naturally manis and pedis were on the agenda. While the price was right, you get what you pay for. The pedicures were much better than the manicure, to start. My main issue with the manicure is that the tech seemed completely distracted however somehow my manicure took longer than everyone else's. My nails were cut and filed so far down they looked like nubs and my polish didn't reach the edges even of the small nails. My companions had similar issues. Not exactly what we had hoped for. I get a lot of manicures and pedicures and I think of nail salons as utilitarian instead of spas. This one stands out for a couple of key reasons: Quickly served - sat down at 4:10 and left at 5:20 with a deluxe pedicure and gel manicureThey worked as a team...one person wrapped my nails to take off the old polish, another guy came by and took the polish off - all while I was getting my pedicure. Been going to Linda's Nails since the first location was open. Always friendly and glad to help! One time, I showed up a few minutes before closing without even realizing and they took their time and treated us so good. Linda is always so nice and always remembers me. Great place to do business! Horrible pedicure.  The woman doing the pedicure couldn't focus for 5 minutes---answering the phone, gabbing with colleagues, ringing up other clients, etc.  The result--not a shocker--sloppy sloppy pedicure.  My toenails aren't even clipped evenly and the polish looks like she had palsy.  Will not go back. Have been to other nail salons in santa fe... this one tops them all.  It doesn't have the fanciest decor and could even be called cluttered but I'm not taking away a star for that.   It's clean, the chairs are nice,and the employees are friendly.  I liked that our mani pedis were not rushed in the chairs like some places. If I could give this salon zero stars I would. The service here is awful. My mother went in to get a manicure with gel French tips. After a couple days of wearing it, the white polish turned brown. She assumed that the polish was probably just old, so she went in to get it painted over with a darker color. When she went back, the man who did her nails told her the polish turned brown because she was dirty, and he would only cover the whole nail with a dark color. Another employee filled my mother's request. I have never heard of an employee being so rude to a customer. If you're looking for a pleasant experience, I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. Read Less

Great prices, normally decent service. However, I waited for them to open for 45 min this morning...30 mon past their posted opening time. we have lots of nail salon choices here in Santa Fe. I've been told that this is the original Linda's Nails in Santa Fe.  I walked in on a Monday, late morning, was seated right away for my pedi, then had a mani.  The man who saw me was very friendly, thoughtful, and professional.  Nail color options were extensive, though did not appear the best quality. My feet still had some dry skin when I examined them later.  The place was well ventilated, and the front door was open.  A great value for just under $30 with tax.  I will definitely return, although I will bring my own polish, as I did this time.
