This place does amazing Ombre style and 3D Roses!! I posted a picture...I was not expecting the price. I feel like it was a bit much but you do get what you pay for in a sense. I dont mind paying that once in awhile for a great outcome.. The over all quality of my nails were amazing!! The staff was super friendly and paid attention to what I wanted!! Thank you. My experience was not good. Although there were several friendly staff members, the lady who gave me a pedicure and manicure was too busy talking to the staff. She trim my cuticles so close to my skin that my skin is red and sore. My toes are currently hurting now. She did not let my feet dry. When I left there my toe polish messed up. She had me walking bare foot to the manicure table. The heal of my foot still has dead skin. While doing my manicure, she stopped to used the same utensil she used to cut away the cuticles from my nails to cut her own nails. The utensil had my dead skin on it. While this shop is fairly quick, the girl that did my nails yesterday was rude and rough. I didn't get her name but she would go back and forth between being rough, then rude, barely speaking to me and speaking to the other workers in her language. Continually. Then at one point she jumped up and walked away, was gone for 3-4 minutes...come to find out she was up front buying eggs from a roving salesperson! She finally came back, still continued to speak to others in her language ignoring me and being rough. When it was all over and I went to pay, there was no place to sit my purse but the floor. Apparently I wasn't quick enough getting my money out for her. When I finally got it out, I only have enough for a $3 tip and change. Apparently she was pissed because she then proceeded to spread it out and angrily speak to another worker in her language and showed that person. No, I don't tip well when I receive rude and rough service. Too bad. Yes, she did a good job on the nails them selves, but her service and attitude sucked. Also, the shop is dirty. I went to get a gel mani and pedi as I was leaving for vacation soon. My pedicure my awful took about half a second to rub my feet and legs. He was not very friendly and I felt very rushed the entire process. Moving on to my manicure the tempo and massage were the same as my pedicure. I asked to have a palm tree design the gentleman said he could not but another women could, she came over reviwed the picture and said she could do that no problem. When she  began the design seemed fine however when I actually looked at it, it looked like a 2 year old drew it. I asked instead of the palm tree for a star fish, she instantly became visibly upset then rudely tells me that nothing will look like the photo, I explained to her I was aware of that however if I did not like it I was not going to have it on my hand or pay for it. She proceeded to have attitude and just put regular stars on my finger, at this point I was completely done with this place! I went to get a pedicure and the lady I used was Trish and she did not pay attention to me at all, she was constant looking another direction talking to her co-worker and during the pedicure she got the lava rock and again wasn't paying attention and rubbed the side of my foot so hard it started to bleed profusely and she didn't care to notice nor pay attention to me and put my bleeding foot back into the warm water and continued to rub lotion on my foot and was about to paint them until the lady next to me did something to stop the bleeding. Elegant Nails is "good enough" but  not exceptional. It is conveniently located in the mall which is why I chose to try it for a pedicure.  The wait wasn't very long. A little strange was that I waited most of the 15" with my feet soaking in very lukewarm water. Since I didn't yet have a person who was taking care of me I didn't tell anyone that the water could have been warmer. The pedicurist was friendly and efficient but the massage portion of the pedicure was weak. Seemed clean although a little cluttered. Read Less

My wife came here. She got in right on time, had a young man do her nails and he did an excellent job on her nails. Any error he made he quickly fixed and constantly checked to see if she was happy with how it was looking. The pedicure wasn't extensive but it was still good, she says. Read Less

I have had bad luck at most of the nail places in Santa Fe but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place. My gel manicure was killer and my pedicure still looks amazing 2 weeks later. I am really rough on my nails so I usually need a touch up within a few days, I went back and they fixed everything for free. I will definitely be back, always worth the wait. Read Less

A wonderful surprise! Staying in South Capital area and saw the good reviews to this nail salon so thought I'd give it a try. It's located inside the 'Santa Fe Place' shopping mall, across from Sam's Club.They take walk-ins & my wait time was about 5 minutes. I had a 'Deluxe Pedicure' & manicure. The shop is clean and they use individual plastic bag inserts in the pedicure basins per client, so as not to spread infections. I recieved one of the best pedicures & manicures I've ever had! I have an issue with both big toe tails growing inward often causing pain, and he was so patient and careful in cutting the ingrown nails - he performed it like a podiatrist would. Meh, I've had better. The wait time was a little long, but we walked around for about 45 minutes to get a mediocre pedicure. The boyfriend and I got into the chairs, my water was freezing cold, the lady turned it on to warm up the water a little and it burned my foot. The water still was lukewarm...they kept telling people they could take hem, only to have them wait in their chairs for at least 30 minutes. One woman fell asleep next to me in her chair...like, snoring sleep...it just wasn't very relaxing. There were sports on the television, which I could give two craps about (especially since I already work in a sports bar...give me some food network or something.) The guy who worked on my nails barely said one word to me...I get it, they don't speak much English...but it was awkward. He scrubbed my feet to the point of painful, although they needed it, it was too rough. The massage was also very half-assed...but, hey, you get what you pay for, right? I would've gotten a manicure too, but I didn't want to wait around any longer for that. My boyfriend enjoyed his, since it's more foot action then I give to him...but now that his feet are looking better, I'll work on my fear of foot touching. I just wish the experience was a little more relaxing...I would've spent more money had I not been tired from waiting in the first place. Looking for somewhere else to get my footsies worked on. Timing is everything when attending a salon in my mall. Kids and hubbies are bound to happen. Lack and his brother are always welcoming! They even have the most experienced technicians from best nails that moved to Albuquerque. Tony is so nice to my mother every time she goes. This place isn't crazy expensive and they offer so much! Low quality. I was happy with the person who did my nails, but the quality was not great. The gel at the tips of my acrylics faded quickly. My friend's experience was not as good. The woman doing her nails did them wrong, and when she asked to have them fixed she was rude about having to change it. My friend's nails completely broke and the gel scrapes off. The place was run down and not especially clean, with an unimpressive selection of polish colors. The man who did my mani/pedi, Ton, was very friendly but quite rough -- my cuticles were injured and are still painful days later. I don't know better places in town; I do know I'd sooner do my own nails than go back to Elegant Nails again. Read Less

All I am going to say is: NEVER AGAIN!Not only that they do a poor job, this place is for some reason always swamped with husbands and children of the women who are getting their nails done. Children keep running around while husbands keep staring at all the other women except their own.Who gives these people all these good ratings?! You must have never had a decent pedicure done in your whole life, which is kind of sad when you think about it. Tony!! You have to ask for Tony! He gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. Very thorough, attentive, and overall great at what he does. I've had countless pedicures and this one was hands down the best. I also brought my daughter in for her first pedicure, she had Diana, and she was very good also, painted little flowers on her toes. Great location, I love that they are just right in the mall! Great Mani/Pedi, and the staff is friendly enough. My gel manicure and pedicure lasted a long time, and was nice looking. I'm a little put off that the techs are allowed to talk on the phone while doing a pedicure though, I'm always worried that they will somehow manage to drop their cell phone in the water.. Also, there is always a wait, being that they are in the mall, so you would want to book an appointment. Still searching for my 5 star rating nail salon, but this isn't too bad. Read Less

I loathe the parking in this mall. It is difficult to park close to an entrance and the rows are so long and cut off from one another, you can't get here from there. Elegant nails is a little bit shop-worn, but has decent service where they greet you, ask you what you want and immediately seat you. These laidies and gents mean business and they are efficient. We had called them earlier and asked if they could do UV gels, but there must have been a language barrier because when we showed up with our OPI gels they said they didn't dow the UV.  We had to settle for a basic polish mani and pedi. One fun thing was the celebrity sighting while we were there. We watched Ali McGraw bring in her little scotty dog and get a pedi. Read Less
