The staff was very nice and I got my nails done is a timely fashion. However, my nail polish started chipping by the end of the day eventhough I was careful. The manicure didn't even last The full day. The polish they have there is not very good. Also it was way too expensive for the results. Just started going to Kathy. She does a great job. I tend to be a little sensitive so I really appreciate Kathy's gentle use of the tool, and that she is old school and only uses a drill at the end to clean up the edges. No more post manicure red nails. The salon seems very clean. I like that all the ladies seem to be from Santa Fe so there is stuff to talk about with them. Stumbled upon this place when having dinner at Mucho Gusto last night, and I'm super happy I stopped in. Kathy did my shellac (gel nails) and I found their pricing to be good ($38) and Kathy's been working there for 26 years (on and off), and knows her stuff! The gals there were super nice and friendly and it will become my go-to nail salon whenever I'm in Santa Fe! Ask for Kathy when you call. They over charged. I got a full set of acrylics and it was $65! Also they don't have prices posted anywhere, so they probably make it up as they please. One woman's daughter came in and completely ignored me and stopped doing my nails as well as she was. They started lifting a week and a half later, so you know their supplies is cheap. The staff was very pleasant and my lady was good. But I've had gel nails for 4 years and they don't do them there! They use a gel top coat and that's it. Makes a huge difference. I actually had to have them redone by my regular lady in Albuquerque. I was very disappointed because I enjoyed the shop otherwise. Now a day's people are really into the gel polish. Too bad they are not up with the times as far as that goes. And i am also used to hand drawn designs and glitter and other fun stuff. Just not my style. But they were very clean and friendly! I went for a simple pedicure recently and it was the most expensive I have ever gotten ($50+). The place is also not very comfortable and smells of chemicals. It is not worth the money, and I don't understand how they get away with charging so much. Read Less

Clean shop with nice people, it is tucked away off the main street so you can miss it. My manicure was done well without any pain or tugging that you sometimes get. The staff was happy to chat with me about the things in the city. What I also found was the staff is ver accommodating to their clients, they know who is coming and if they will need extra room or time due to specific equipment they may have. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had and was charged $51 for it. There isn't a standard pedicure chair...thet use a drugstore floor model, the water was first too hot, then too cold. My cuticle was not removed and the polish was worn off the very next day. I am thoroughly disgusted and will never be back and highly recommend you don't try this place.
