I got arcylics done there, they did such a bad job. Lady that was doing my nails didn't seem to care and rushed. Its been 4 days, my nails have air bubbles and paint is already coming off and its gel so they say, its supposed to last a long time. Also, she didn't paint my nails completely. I’ve only given one star because there is not an option to give less than that. I waited over 45 min for a simple manicure. After finally being taken to a chair, I waited another half hour. When the lady finally started on my nails, she had me place my hands on a CLEARLY dirty towel that had old nail polish, acrylic powder etc... She began to try and paint my nails BEFORE CUTTING THEM or trimming my cuticles. And when I asked about it, she rolled her eyes at me and just continued. She finished my nails in about 10 min with ONE coat of polish, without cutting them and without putting forth much effort at all, meanwhile all the women next to me where being given undivided attention and effort. I paid and tried to talk to the manager about my “manicure” to which he told me “no, it looks great.” Don’t waste your money. Stay home and have your 5 year old do your manicure. Wow where can i start?!You walk there for the first time and the people look really nice, but don't let it confuse you. I came there after only 2 days!! ( usually when i do dipping powder it will last at least for 3-2 weeks) with my nails like that!! And the most rude owner which i ever saw! Just start to scream at me and telling me to go somewhere els to do it, the employees start to actually record me so i join then which probably pissed him and his wife so thy start attacking me and grabbed my phone!!!Really really bad experience sorry to say it but really DON'T GO THERE. Sorry to the owner for posting such a negative review but last week being seen by the guy who sits closest to the door and the woman he passed me onto half way did such a poor set of full nails with gel.The guy brags that he has been doing nails for 35 years, but I think his training or standards of quality are poor.Having gotten my nails done elsewhere I am used to stunning quality, but trying your salon for the first time when I have lost my previous nail artist. I was do disappointed.The nail was not buffed enough prior to gluing the nail on, do today I hope back a week later because the nail has lifted off.  He went to place glue close to the cuticle but I showed him it has lifted do please place the glue under the nail....again I get yd he has been doing this for 25 yes, and people all day have been telling him what to do..hmm hint hint I feel.So he glued near the cuticle but not lifting the nail, so now I know I have an air-pocket between the top and the end of the cuticle, great if you want water under it and a fungal issue.But back to the work originally did.  Whilst working on my nails being St the front, he was the greeter/manager he tells me do every give minutes, interruptions.I don't believe he buffed my natural nail enough, hence a week later it lifting.  Ok, the acrylic powder he put on thick and rough.  His attempt to shape the acrylic  powder to look smooth and blended was not done with thick edges on one side and thinner on the other side.So the finish is poor to say the least.His girlfriend he tells me arrives do he gets up and says she will do the gloss gel coat, gets up and sits with another woman and begins hers.So the "girlfriend" shapes into the almond shape And begins painting them.The Polish looks old and thin And gluggy.  The two coats she does are very poor, unbalanced and not even.You can see the color variations very easily in s normal lit too.  No depth of color, a few air bubbles and uneven color.Sorry guys but not coming back and wasting my money.* I uploaded photos to show the quality.The finish acrylic powder was Read Less

They were able to get me an appointment right away but once I went in they shaped my nails completely wrong and gave me the wrong color, the color they gave me wasn't even on the color wheel I picked from & they left a piece of hair/lint on my nail and Just polished over it .. STOLE MY MONEY! Rude manager and very unfair. The lady who did my nails was nice even though she tried the usual up sell. I did a pedicure and only took my gel off my hands. I did not do a manicure but she did ONE clear coat which took 2 seconds.  He charged me the same as a manicure for the clear nothingness done to my nails. He said it didn't matter and was very rude. I would give them no stars if that was an option. Came in with my teenage daughter on Monday looking to get her a manicure. They told us to sit down and they would get us next. Wait for 20 minutes, when a women and her kid walked in and said she wanted acrylics and a manicure for her kid. They told her to take a seat and also wait. Now we (my daughter and me) have been waiting 35 minutes. Then the head guy takes the women and her kids to the back to get them started and totally ignores me and my daughter. When he comes back I told home that we were there first and why did he take them first. He states that they took them first because they are spending more money then we were. I was shocked and super pissed by then. I told my daughter we were leaving and that would go somewhere else. I told the guy that there customer service was shitty and I would never come back. That I would also be telling people about their service. He didn't seem to care and just turned and walked away. Theirs were plenty of witnesses that heard what he said. I am a hairdresser ans this place is close by . I waited an hour and then the lady who was suppozed to do my nails refused becauase I asked for pink and white nails simple French tips. I was charged 45 $ all they did was a white plastic extension and clear acrylic... So simple I'm used to paying 30 for something like that .... The gel wasn't even smooth. As moew clients walked in and they were busy they proceeeded to say 45 min wait ... Then some people said ill come back the nail techs rudley said after they left good we don't need no one who can't wait ..... Don't waste your money!!! Seriously would give 0 stars if I could. I Sat for over 2 hours for a simple, one color full set. Paid over $50. And almost 2 weeks later every nail is lifting off. I now can't even just get a fill as every nail needs to be removed. I will not be going back and wasting a single $ or shred of my energy to even try and have them fixed. I went in for a pedicure, and it was busy, but they put me in a chair with water. I sat in the chair for 45 minutes, and no one came over. My water became cold. I got up and left because I had other things to do, and no one even noticed. I've been to a lot of busy nail salons in lots of places and have never experienced this level of poor service. While the salon seemed very clean the staff seemed very overworked and not too happy. I think this is due to the fact that no matter the wait time the owner stacks people in the pedi chairs to wait and wait and wait. My 80 year old mother and I sat with our feet in water for 35 minutes. Mine got cold so I asked for more hot water only to have it go cold again. The tech got grumpy when my mother asked for her nails to be cut a little shorter and seemed upset when she forgot her sandals and asked for somewhere to sit while her toes finished drying. My tech seemed to be taking out her frustrations on my feet scrubbing much too intensely causing my arch to hurt and pounded on my legs as if trying to hurt me. Job ended up looking okay but it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I witnessed several woman asking about the wait time only to be told to pick a color and told what chair to sit in. love the pedicures, water is always right, chairs work great. tools ALWAYS new and clean. had eyebrows waxed, did great job, didn't scalp me where i had to pencil them in like some places BUT don't get legs waxed there unless you're a contortionist. the table they use doesn't fold down or maybe it does but room is too small so it was always at a sitting up angle. so when it was time to do back of legs, you can imagine, NOT that comfortable, my toes got caught in the sliding doors too...rooms needs to be bigger for sure. table didn't seem that clean and the waxing pot was dirty. Best Pedi and Mani (Gel) I've had in a while!  My technician was a male but I didn't grab his name.  He was sweet and exceptional plus gave a great massage!  Don't let his tattoos fool you... You get what you pay for here. Prices are cheap, but I sat with my feet in cold water in a non-working massage chair for almost 30 minutes before someone finally was available to start my pedicure. She only exfoliated and worked the cuticles on one foot, then quickly put on polish. The polish ended up on skin in some areas and bubbled up in others because she was trying to work so fast. Perhaps if they'd been honest and asked me to come back at a certain time my experience would have been better. I wouldn't recommend going here, unless it's a nail emergency. Read Less

The pedicure technician was extremely sloppy, she cut my toenails so short they hurt for several days after. She also cut them in a way that will cause ingrown toenails on both ends of big toes. Shellac lasted 2 days before polish began to lift. On day 6, all nails are lifting. Such a waste of $35, I'm so disappointed. Salon was filthy. Manicurist used a file after it fell in the floor. I'm amazed people ever go back. Read Less

I was recommended this place by my bank teller because I noticed her nice nails!I had a bad experience at another Nail Salon in town and came here hoping to have a new "go-to" nail place. Sure enough, the staff and service have won me over! The nail technicians that I've had so far are well trained and pretty skilled. They practice hygienic procedures during the manicures and pedicures which is important. And the husband and wife own the place are very friendly and professional.The only bummer is that they can get really busy. When I came in with my friend during July 4th weekend for example, I felt the quality of service went down. But the fact that they are so popular says a lot about the business so I let that go. I've been a customer of CA nails for about 4 years, as long as I've lived in Santa Fe. I live on the other side of town with a nail salon next to my house but the owners have always been incredibly kind and efficient with great prices so I've continued to go here. Today my experience was otherwise and I don't believe I'll ever go back. I arrived at 6:15 to a full nail salon acknowledging that I would have to wait. The owner who recognized me said hello and to go to seat 6 for my pedicure. I understood that I would have to wait but I proceeded to sit there for 45 minutes without anyone saying anything to me, with everyone else being helped. The water my feet were in had gone cold, 4 ladies who came after me had been helped, and I still had not been assisted. I got out of my chair, put on my shoes with wet feet, and left. I recently moved here from Florida & I'm very particular about who does my hands & feet. Well after 3 months of searching & bad experiences, I finally found this wonderful nail shop. Everyone is very nice & the shop is immaculately clean!! I don't do acrylic nails so when I saw they offered a healthy manicure, I jumped right on it. My daughter and I went in to treat ourselves to a pedicure and we ended up having one of the best pedicures we have ever had!  Though we were not served cold water, we had our feet pampered with a thorough pedicure which even included a wonderful foot massage.  These people are so sweet, hard-working, conscientious, and genuine that it would be nearly impossible not to like them! I am on vacation, My girlfriend and I wanted to "feel  better" So we go to get our Hair Trimmed/Cut. We walked in, and had to wait about an hour, 7 people ahead of us. We go, grab some lunch... By the time we got back everyone was cleared out Angel was my Stylist, My girlfriend Mindy, had Debbie. Both girls had Beautiful Hair ( of course)... they work at the salon.... Just wanted Angel G. to know how wonderful, she was. For us to walk in, 1st time here, She was Professional and Informative. I was EXTREMLY Impressed with her!!! Oh and My Hair Cut...  Looks Great.
