I had never had a wax before and the technician made me feel super comfortable about what to expect and explained everything as she did it and made lovely conversation during and I am thrilled with the results. Honestly, I had an amazing experience here. I booked myself a hot stone massage for my birthday at 3:30 pm. I was held late at work and arrived to the spa 30 minutes late. Despite this, I was treated with so much graciousness! The lady I talked to was very calm, understanding, and accommodating. The service is very friendly & professional. However, I just had my hair cut here after 5 years of being too terrified to go to a salon. I ended up with chopped up curls all over again. I'll never have my hair done at a salon again. It's sad that I can give myself better haircuts than someone who was trained to do hair. Read Less

I got a haircut here & I'm crying. I haven't gone to a salon for a haircut in 5 years because my curls get chopped up ever time. I explained this to the stylist and showed her a picture of what I wanted. Instead I got chopped up curls all over again. I can't go natural with my hair & it looks bad styled. So much for getting an easy to manage style to help me out with being a new mom. DO NOT get your hair cut here!!! Especially if you have thick, curly hair. Read Less

First time here and i had the pleasure of enjoying their signature massage. From when i walked in it was very welcoming. Was given my own robe and time to relax in their meditation room. The massage was so relaxing and I will definitely be back again for another one. Ive had a massage at three different places here in Las Cruces and this was my favorite place. My best friend referred me to The Spa Downtown and it was fantastic! Kara gave me a very relaxing "signature" massage and really cared about what I was looking for in my massage. I met the delightful nail tech and hair stylist on my way out and they were very pleasant. I booked another treatment and will be back soon! Thank you ladies!P.s. there is NOTHING BETTER than hearing "don't worry, take your time. We aren't in a hurry" when you walk in. I have been visiting The Spa Downtown for over a year now using there waxing services--Kristy is amazing, love her Brazilian waxes; however, yesterday was my first time trying out there salon services, and Carleigh was a hair genius! I had gone to another salon and had colored my hair black with mermaid green highlights months ago, as you can imagine, the color fade process was a hideous sight to see, so I decided since I am about to start a new chapter in my life, I needed ...a new hair do, and called The Spa Downtown. I talked to Carleigh that I really liked reds but hated taking cold showers as well as how short the life span was of the colors, and was told they have a new line that you don't have to take a cold shower-Yay, and so we got rid of the black and green, cut my hair to a healthier length and the color came out phenomenally.
