First and only visit, they were able to offer manicure for my relative and pedicure for me without long wait time on Saturday morning. They could be friendlier, but service was professionally done. I came in with my mom today and we were sat down right away to get our pedicures. As we sat down I stick my feet into cold water and the lady who did my toes made it seem like she was in a rush. She hurt me several times with the tools she used on my feet and was rude. With that being said there was exactly 7 customers and enough nail techs on the floor. SOOO much better than the other discount nail places in town. These people are genuinely friendly, not fake friendly. Gigi did my nails with dip powder and they're beautiful! She paid so much attention to detail & she even took care of my cuticle, which most places don't do unless you're just getting a straight manicure. The prices were good & the place is clean. I've lived here in Las Cruces several years now. I've tried just about all the nail shops here. Fancy Nails is by far the BEST in Town! GiGi is absolutely fantastic! She goes above and beyond to satisfy the customers. She is very friendly and is never on her cell phone while she's doing your nails. (unlike Hollywood nails). Jack is really good too! The service was rude and the nail technician laughed at me. The man doing my nails smelled like cigarettes and it hurt my head. The vibe is sad and stressful. Do not Waist your time at this place. I have come here 4 times, all for the SNS nails, and all 4 times were good experiences. Place is very clean, staff is nice, and the techs are fast.  Also very affordable, gel mani $30, SNS $35 (I'm from Cali and SNS is $45) pedi starts at $20 up to $30... Ive had 4 different techs and all were good. -1 star because 2 times I've have uneven nails, told the tech, tech assured would be fixed by the time they were done, but it wasn't.. Read Less

For $20 you can get a cheap, decent pedicure. They have lots of polishes to choose from including DND Gel polishes and OPI. Show up EARLY on the weekends, otherwise you will have to wait 30+ minutes. Even though they have several technicians, this place gets busy. Minus half a star because the technician didn't completely remove my old dark polish. Once I returned home, I realized some of the dark polish showed through the fresh coat of lighter polish. This is probably only noticeable to me - but attention to detail is important when you're in the beauty industry.Minus another half a star for not having AC - or for not choosing to use it in the middle of summer in a room full of people inhaling chemicals. Wonderful.  I was looking for a nail salon that does powder dip nails.  This seems to be the only one.  They knew I was a new customer and they treated me like I was a VIP.  My nails were shaped perfectly and was often asked to look at my nails through the process to make sure that they satisfactory.  My nails were smooth and perfectly shaped.  I am very pleased and will definitely be going back. Wow!  That's about the best way to describe the visit I had today at fancy nails. Gigi did an absolutely amazing job on my manicure and she gave me what has to be by far the most thorough hand massage I've ever had and this is coming from someone who gets a manicure once every week! In addition to that I also got the paraffin, hot stone, and sugar scrub and with each and every aspect of this manicure I received more massage!  Truly unprecedented in this world of quickies when it comes to a manicure. This was the third nail shop I've gone to since moving to Las Cruces and I was very hopeful when Gigi said she would be using powder instead of color for my French Manicure fill. Gigi did both our toes and I have to say, it was the best pedicure I have ever had anywhere! I was going to Hollywood Nails in the mall for quite sometime because the quality of work I got from Brian was great. I would get extra long nails so it was important that they wouldn't lift or break during my normal day-to-day routine. (I am rough with my hands.)I happened to stumble on this salon for a pedi when Hollywood Nails was too busy to take me. My first impression was how clean it was. Further, after having a conversation with Gili  (co-owner with husband Jack) she quoted me a price for my long nails and told me they too used the better "solar" powders for acrylic nails like Hollywood Nails. She was more than $20 less and it was then that I realized I was being overcharged at Hollywood. A couple people had mentioned the same thing but I chalked it up to my desire for quality and thought they were hassling me. Well, the next time I needed my hands done I went to Gigi. Sure enough, great quality! She left them medium thickness and they withstood my roughness.One thing I absolutely love is Gigi's attention to detail both on my hands and my feet. She takes her time to make sure my cuticles are clean and then after the pedi is over she takes a one last look over and snips off and stragglers of dried skin that may not have been visible while my feet were wet.
