I’m giving this place 5 stars. I was really hesitant to get my nails done despite the fact that I’ve had them done at a few places that straight up ruined my Nails. I read the reviews on this place before and thought I should give it a try and I’m very satisfied with my nails. I've been to many different nail salons for years and when my sister told me to go to this salon I was skeptical to change to a new salon but I decided to try them because my sister always has the coolest nails. I went here for the first time about 5 months ago and I will never go anywhere else. Not only are their prices reasonable but they do the best job out of any salon I've been to here in Albuquerque. They do the shape and thickness perfectly for me. They are also friendly, nice, and funny!! I won't go anywhere else. I come here every two weeks or so. They have so many polishes to choose from. I have experienced each of the employees and all of them do an amazing job. I recommend calling 15 minutes before to see if they're busy. Theyll get your stuff set up ready for when you arrive. It was my first time here and I don't think they expected it to be busy right when they opened. Mimi did my nails and she was very nice. She kept up conversation with me and made me feel comfortable being in the salon. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails but she was hesitant until I reassured her that the picture came from the store's yelp. I understood completely that seeing a picture increases people's expectation and when their nails don't come out exactly as the picture they are disappointed. But Mimi took her time to make sure I liked the shape and length. I also had a broken nail and she was able to fix it nicely and blend it in with my super grown out nails. I am super picky with everything nails related and I had yet to find a place in Albuquerque that I absolutely love. Something is always not right. I got a full set done by Rose, and she was amazing. she was very accommodating to my needs and was very kind. she is absolutely amazing on what does, she made the shape perfect and what I'm so impressed is that the acrylic is not too thick, making it look so much more natural than any other acrylic I have done. Definitely worth the 30 min drive to here. Will be the only place I go to from now on. Read Less

The lady who did my nails did a wonderful job. Was my first manicure and first time there.. I did as I suggested on my nails. Because I'm picky. Will be going back soon. A little wait time but she was fast but she did wonderful job. Read Less

Disappointed . Greeter/Owner (?) was rude. When I walked in, nobody acknowledged my existence. It was a couple of minutes before I was gruffly asked what I wanted. I needed a full face wax. I was told to go to the room. It was my first time there, so I was unsure of the "room" and where to sit. Eventually somebody came in to help me   The wax was TOO HOT!!!  I told the woman but she mumbled something behind her mask and continued on with the hot wax. I've never had such an incredibly painful waxing experience   In addition, small pieces of wax were left on my face and my poor skin was crazy red; so much so that even the cashier commented on it. I used to go here regularly when Jenny was working here. On my last visit, 4/11/2013, the place looks totally different. There's only 3 nail stations, but the spa chairs are still there. The place just looked completely barren. The TV wasn't on nor was there any music. ((crickets)) I went for a pedicure, which wasn't BAD, but wasn't really great either. When I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manner, but once the person who greeted me told the pedi tech to do my pedi, she seemed like I was putting her out of her way and told the other tech something in Vietnamese that seemed negative. wth? At that point, I should've just left. But I stayed anyway. She was polite to me after that. But her technique wasn't the best, her massage actually kind of hurt. I will not be back. The price is right, but I guess you get what you pay for. :/ Read Less

I love this place!! I won't go anywhere else to do my nails or waxing. They are friendly and really care about their customers. The prices are great, too. Jenny, the owner, is very meticulous and does your nails and waxing as though she was working on a detailed piece of art. Just go once, you will keep going back. Read Less
