I've been recommended to this place from several friends, and maybe I'm just not doing it right. Β I usually don't splurge on nails, so I'm pretty new to the terms 'rebase' vs 'new set', 'gel vs non-gel', etc. Β This shouldn't stop someone from getting what they want or need as a customer right?Here are the qualms I have with this place: Β the appointment process. Β When I call to make an appointment, I'm asked what I want done. Β As a newbie, I attempt to explain what I want and also the level of design I desire, but I don't think this request gets through to whoever makes the appointment. Β When I call they also ask if I have a technician in mind, but since I'm so new to the spa, I can't answer that question. Β How would I know which of the staff has the technical capability of doing the design I want as a new-ish customer?!I've been three times so far. Β The first time was okay, but my nails were not even - I had pooling of polish toward the end of my nail, making the end of my nail thicker than the area closer to my nail bed. Β The other two times were better jobs, but I was denied a specific design because whoever they put me with did not have the capability of the technical design I wanted, even though I specifically told the appointment-maker to put me with a tech that could do the design in the first place, sighhhh. Β I eventually gave up and went elsewhere. Β I guess this place would be awesome if you know exactly the tech you want to go to that has the technical skillset of the kind of designs you want. Β Unfortunately, that match just never happened for me, and I felt a bit frustrated leaving disappointed more than one time not being able to get the design I want - although I clearly conveyed to the person making appointments what I wanted each time beforehand.
