Kim always does an unbelievable job on my nails! She is very meticulous and pays great attention to detail. Kim places SNS dip powder on my nails (they have tons of colors to choose from) and with her expertise and experience in using the product she makes it last WEEKS without chipping, and I’m extremely rough on my nails! I enjoy every time I visit because I’m welcomed in and Kim and her sister Kerri (who does a fabulous job on my sister’s nails) are very personable, friendly and fun to be around. They always offer us water and make sure we are comfortable. The salon is very well kept, clean and modern. I highly recommend you try it out yourself. Once you do, you won’t go anywhere else! Mary is the best, she is nice and does exactly what you want her to do. However the other ladies are loud and obnoxious and I’ve heard them embarrass and insult other customers while I was there. I heard one say really loud I am going to charge you extra because you have fungus on your toes. Their lack of customer service knowledge is enough for me to never go there again. I found this spot because my time without the baby is limited (I hate leaving him). I went to the closest nail salon and they were packed. I did a quick search on Yelp for salons in the area that are open on Sunday. Deluxe came up and I called them up to make sure they were open and I headed right over. They took me right in. AHHH! First of all, they were warm and friendly. In such a good mood. All the techs were laughing and having a good time. I don't want this to come out wrong but they were all english speaking. So you weren't wondering if they were secretly talking about you. (Is that just me? Yes? Ok) Lol. I've been back a couple of times since and although there have been gaps of time in between, they remember me. So great!The space is clean and accommodating. After reading all the amazing reviews about this nail salon, I was so excited to get my nails done here with easy.  I was graciously greeted and sat immediately with no wait, even on A Saturday. I was thrilled.  A man sat down and was friendly at first until I asked him not to use the drill tool they use, he shrugged and proceed anyway.  I felt very uncomfortable after because his entire demeanor changed. I waited to see if it would improve and it got to the point where he made me feel bad.  I left and will absolutely tell all my family and friends to avoid this place.  Such a disappointing experience. I called Deluxe Nails for an appointment because of the high ratings they received on Yelp. They were very nice and set up my appointment. I was not disappointed.When I arrived, I was about two minutes early, they were ready for me. They took me to my chair, offered me water, and helped me work the massaging chair. The experience was very enjoyable for start to finish. The conversation was interesting and at times entertaining. They did a great job on my nails and the price was in line with everyone else's prices.I will go back next time I'm in Albuquerque! The five star ratings on Yelp are on the money. Read Less

Chose this establishment based on location and Yelp ratings. My daughter and I came in for regular pedicures and gel nails. Let me tell you!!! Kim recommended powder dip instead of gel. I had never heard of dip. She told us the benefits. It didn't take much to convince us. I was just hoping the end result would be equal to or greater than gels. The atmosphere in Deluxe was extremely welcoming and felt like hanging out with friends. I walked in not knowing anyone and left feeling like I had just had drinks with the girls. The pedicures were excellent. My daughter and I had a great time.My nails......I LOVE THEM!!!! They are absolutely gorgeous. Kim did an amazing job. My daughter had similar results. Umm not to insult all other nail salons, but the language barrier has always been an issue for me. Or sometimes the workers are just plain rude.At Deluxe Nails, everyone spoke perfect English kept the conversation going the entire time and were genuinely funny people. I took my 14 year old brother, and he was laughing the entire time. He said we aren't going to get pedicures anywhere else. Which I am perfectly fine with. We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon here and our toes look so much better. I awarded them 5 stars because I do not want to get my nails done anywhere else. I can converse with the employees here, and will not have a hard time communicating something in regard to my nails. I loved this place! I am so glad it's close to my house. New to ABQ I was looking for a new nail and brow place. Yelp has their hours starting at 9am so I arrived at 9:15, I watched as an employee arrived and unlocked to go in, hmm so I called the girl answering said they didn't open until 10 now and they were having a hard time getting the hours changed, on the Yelp site. Well done!!I had Mary do my hands. I have natural nails and she does an excellent job on my cuticles, shaping my nails and of course wonderful painting. Only person that can touch her work is in Castle Rock Colorado. They last 3 weeks until I go back in and very reasonably priced. Also great to talk with during the services.Ann did my feet. This was the best pedicure I've ever had. My feet even days later are still smooth and soft. The nail tech took her time and ensured my feet were smooth. The only down side is they move around a lot while doing nails. I started with the one good tech, then the "deluxe" part was done by someone else, the toe flower by another person.
