I’m going to share my experience with you in hopes that you will understand why I’m leaving a very negative review. It was the week of my daughter’s wedding and all the girls were going to the salon for a mani pedi. We paid for the services on a Tuesday evening. The services were to be performed on the coming Thursday. On Wednesday morning I called the salon and canceled. We we’re told there would be no refund. We understood that, but because we had paid $300.00 our assumption was we would get $300.00 in services. Because I canceled early Wednesday morning that meant they had all day to book their nail technician for the next day. When I asked about receiving services they said absolutely not. Their nail technician was booked for the day and had to be paid. Again I will say I canceled on Wednesday morning and that gave them all day to book their nail technician for the next day. We never expected a refund but we did think it was reasonable to expect $300.00 in other services. So we paid $300.00 and got absolutely nothing. I would highly recommend if you find yourself in that position that you specifically ask whether what you paid can be used for other services should you happen to cancel and by all means get it in writing. I went to this salon for three years with no complaints except they are a bit pricey. Because of this experience I won’t be going back. We tried to discuss the situation with the owner but she was completely unreasonable and unwillling to have any reasonable dialog about it at all. After a few attempts of trying to discuss it she abruptly told us to leave her salon which we did. I will say one thing. If you decide to use this salon anyway by all means book with Izzy. He knows his stuff. He’s courteous, he’s considerate, he’s thoughtful and he’s a beyond great stylist. You won’t be disappointed. To conclude I have to leave extremely disappointing, extremely negative feedback for this salon and for the owner in particular. I don’t think the nail technician sat around all day with nothing to do because we didn’t come in. Just be warned. There are other salons in town that engage in fair practice and I will be choosing one of them. Read Less
