First of all I would just like to say how awesome Capri beauty is. The girls that work there are all so friendly and always have a smile on their face. I started going to Capri about 3 years ago for just a normal eyebrow wax. I am a very hairy person and have always been shy about the hair on my face. The one lady that used to work there noticed it and said I should try waxing it. I was a bit scared as I thought the hair would grow back darker and thicker. So we ended up thr...eading it. This worked for me because the hair was gone but it still grew back and I had to go every month to have it done. About two months ago I was introduced to Epilfree. This is a process where they wax the area and after that they apply 2 serums. This is almost like laser but much cheaper. After the first appointment I could see a difference. The gels last me over 2 1/2 - 3 weeks without chipping. Reason to go back is only because of nail growth, not chips. It does cost a slight bit more but, worth it to schedule an appointment and have a quality job. Highly recommend Nhi, Laura, and Christine. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done here for six years. I've tried a few other places in the area, but my gel polish mania last here days longer than anywhere else. They have a terrific selection of gel colors and when I schedule an appointment, I never have to wait. All of the staff are  friendly and do a good job on nails. Read Less

My mom called at 9am to schedule an appointment for 1:30 pm. Two pedicures, and a manicure for me. We get our pedicures done and they then decide they don't have time for my manicure, and tell us to come back because they have another appointment after us! So ridiculous, why schedule out for a customer if you're going to send them away without everything they wanted?? So so annoyed, don't come here unless you're a frequent customer, they don't treat you as well.The pedicure is done well and clean, but I will never be coming back. Read Less

it was ok. seemed rushed. the water for my pedicure was cold. they don't take much time to get dry skin off and that's kinda the point in a pedicure. the nail polish is bad unless it's gel. is kinda cheap and old. the girl mistakely put the wrong color on the top of my toe and instead of cleaning it she just painted over it with the right color. all in all not horrible but not good either. I recently moved to this side of town and was looking for a nail salon that was close to my new home. A neighbor recommended Artist's Nails so I gave it a try today. (I had tried to do a walk-in yesterday, but they didn't have time then although they suggested I come back later in the morning, but I wasn't available then) The shop is clean, the tools are sterilized and individually packaged, which VERY important to me. All of the pictures of the nail art I've seen are very impressive and what made me want to try this place out. Unfortunately my pedicure was about 25 minutes long and very disappointing. They use a drill for calloused heels (which I really dislike) and the whole service felt rushed. Even the massage was short and disappointing and that's supposed to be the best part! Read Less

Service has been progressively downhill over the past 2 years. Today I walked in for a pedicure and they got me in right away. The person who did my pedicure was rough and fast, my whole pedicure literally only took 20 minutes! If you are looking for a quick $23 polish change, this is your place. Having moved from San Diego to Albuquerque, I was in search of a good manicurist. At Artists Nail salon I found the owners, Mimi and her husband. It was one of the best mani/pedi's I've ever had!  This is definitely my go-to spot for nails now. The salon is tastefully decorated and has good fung shui (and A/C!). They do a very good job when it comes to doing nails. Their customer service could be improved. There us tension in the air that leaves me feeling  uncomfortable. Last week I showed up for my scheduled appointment. They had written it do e wrong and claimed I was a "no show". When I walked in the salon, the loudly announced so the entire salon could hear that I missed my appointment and they could not accommodate me. Very embarrassing. I arrived just after 9 on a Tuesday and had no problem getting a walk in appointment. Clean and modern decor and comfortable seating. Before I was done there were 4 other customers and business was humming. I think making an appointment might be the way to go. The cost for a gel manicure and no decorations was 31$. This is a bit higher than other local spots, but the service was good, and they have higher end polish like OPI. I'll be back to check out the pedicures. Read Less

I have been searching for a nail salon to call home near my office and I just found it! This was my first time coming here for a gel mani and to say I needed one is an understatement.  From the second I walked in everyone was friendly and professional, the place was nice and clean. I was paired up with Christine who is stuck with me now.  She did an amazing job! Seriously, best mani EVER. 1st time ever coming here for a gel color change & I gotta say that I am not disappointed! They are fast & efficient -- got me in & out of there within 30min & they didn't charge as much as the other places I usually go to. My new nail color is beyond perfect & the nail tech working on me filed my nails perfectly & didn't make them crooked, like the last place I went to.I would highly recommend this place to anyone -- they are the friendliest & most efficient nail shop in town! I just got done a deluxe mani pedi done and I love it !! They really take their time and not rush you . The salon itself is really clean and nice very relaxing and hygienic. I won't go here again. Walked in at 5:30pm with my sister. They close at 7pm. There were 4 customers in progress. With 5 people working. Asked for a mani/pedi and they said they didn't have time. It takes about 30min to do a mani pedi everywhere I go in town. So either they were understaffed or didn't really care about getting new business. Either way I was unimpressed. I understand they want to leave on time (so do I at my job) but I've never had my business turned down an hour and a half before a place closes.It was a cute salon, kind of smaller than most. Smelled like the place wasn't well ventilated at all. If acetone fumes give you headaches you won't like it.However... I can't say anything about the services, unfortunately. I started coming here about six months ago and have been coming here every other week since, i get my gel manicures and my oedicures here, and the prices are reasonable and the quality good. I can usually get a spot if I call ahead the morning of, but it can be hard to get in as a walk-in because they are becoming quite popular.UPDATEit's been over 2 years since I started coming here. I've tried a couple other places in town, but my gel nails always seem to peel off a lot faster than when I get them done here. So I get them done here, whenever I can. Read Less

Great services. The place is simple, clean and hygienic, and the staff is very friendly. It's one of the best mani/pedis I've ever received and I frequent nail salons. They welcome walk-ins. I called and was able to get an appointment in 30 minutes for a mani/pedi combo with gel. They have the nice pedicure massage chairs and hundreds of polish to choose from, including six different brands of gel polish.  I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.
