when I was seated the lady doing my nails was very rude, when I asked her for white powder for my full set instead of pink like she started laughing and said I don’t know what I’m taking about and it would look better and gave me attitude when I declined and said no I would like white powder she kept telling me I was wrong and laughting so I told her I’m the one paying I would like white thank you so then she stated using the drill and she kept hitting my cuticle which I told her because it hurt and she continued to ignore me and hit my cuticle so by this point I just wanted to just leave so she finished my nails and the next day I woke up will a swollen infected nail because she cut into my cuticle with the drill which caused an infection, I went t back to Victorias that same day I developed the Infection and asked for the manager and the lady would not get the manager and said she could deal with it so I showed her my Infected Nail and she said it was not their fault and oh well they can’t do anything about it so at this point I was fed up and left, I wasant really even looking for my money back which would of been nice but mostly for them to take Accountability for infecting my nail So I had to go to homecoming the next day with infected nail. I had to walk away before I knocked the lady upside her dumb head. I went to the ER got 2 meds. Called my Lawyer and sued them. They settled out of Court, of course. I am permanently scared on my right eye because the WAX WAS TO FRIGGIN HOT!! So I got a nice settlement but that’s nothing compared to what my eye look like. I used to go to this salon prior to me relocating. I had the worst experience ever on Saturday eve. I entered salon 3:15ish and exited around 6:30z for a pedicure. I asked the nail tech to take out my ingrowns as I get my feet done regualary. He hurt me badly where I was bleeding and I thought it was from removing the ingrown properly. He then painted my nails and it looked terrible, I asked him to get it off my ski as gel peels off. He then used sharp tool to pick it off and cut me open some more and didn't even apologize. The daughter came over to fix. She put liquid bandage on the cuts. That felt great! (Enter sarcasm) I then had to wait for her to get the dead skin off my nails as he didn't do thAt. Thank goodness she noticed. Then the mother owner of the salon painted them correctly. I had some pain on my big toe but I thought it was from when he was digging the ingrown and stabbed me that it was just sore. Well today I notice pain and now it's swollen skin and puss. Now that is from not removing the ingrown properly and leaving jagged ends in there. Now I have to go to a  podiatrist, and endure more pain. Also I have to pay out of pocket. I called the salon, the husband told me the ingrown removal never happened and there's nothing he can do. That I could come in (but I advised him I loved three states away) he said he's in the business to make money and can't just refund every complaint.  Now, after my experience I didn't even ask for a refund but now we are stepping into bounds of a lot more money out of pocket,  inconvenience  and time spent at the doctor. Before I leave on my trip. I advised him that 27.00 was worth compensating me and my troubles and he said the reviews didn't matter to him. So beware when you go in for a pedicure with the man. Also, the way the management handled this situation shows me I'm a NUMBER AND NOT A PERSON! Never again will I be back. Read Less

Received Gift Cards for Christmas, for 2 other places in Woodbury NJ...  Which some have gone on and on about.. How Great they were...WELL I'm here to say Victoria Nails have NEVER let me down..They're the BEST around !! The other 2 places I went, polish was peeling off in less than 1 week also broken nails within a week...Victoria Nails I can and have gone 3 weeks between refills.. Everyone is pretty nice here. I was able to walk in and be seated within minutes. Those are the positives. The woman helping me seemed incredibly preoccupied and kept leaving me sitting there to do other things. When she did focus on me, the attempted conversation felt forced but I played along for the sake of being polite. I had to keep reminding her what I wanted as she apparently kept forgetting. She attempted to push gel on me, to which I declined, as I'd overheard another employee mention to someone that it's an additional $10 that was not mentioned to me when she was trying to sneak the sale. I also did not receive the hand massage that others around me received for the same service. The employee laughed at me a few times because my nails were "so short," but they really weren't and I felt that was rude and unprofessional. Instead of the usual black light that others received to dry their nails, I was told to sit with my fingers in front of a fan for 10 minutes and then she walked away. Overall you get what you pay for. $30 acrylic french manicure, you can't expect much. What you can expect is a sloppy and unprofessional job, apparently. I get my nails done maybe once a year. I've never gotten this employee before but if I go back I hope to be serviced by another individual. Read Less

This is my go-to place for pedicures.  The prices are affordable and they offer many levels of pedicures for different price ranges (basic is $15, regular is $25, spa is $35, etc.).  Four stars because when I went yesterday, I had a very disappointing pedicure.  The man who did it didn't give me a massage, but instead weakly spread lotion on my legs, and then slapped the bottoms of my feet (the slap they usually do to end a foot massage).  He globbed the polish on so thick that it bubbled on my way home and I had to redo the paint job.  My feet were still rough.   Overall, it was not a good pedicure.Nine times out of ten I have a fantastic experience, so I won't let this one occasion stop me from going back.  I tend to have much more enjoyable pedicures when I go in the middle of the day on a weekday, which of course can only happen when I have off from work.  After work on weekdays and on weekends can be a bit busy.Check this place out if you're looking for an affordable pedicure and ask for Lily.
