The staff is amazing and the salon is impeccable and super clean. They are always professional and courteous and take great care of their customers. Michelle, Karen and Stephen are the best! My girlfriend also goes to Sky and always gets her pedicures and nails done by Karen and she loves it. They know You by name and treat you with respect. Went in for a gel refill . Walked out with lumpy ,thick and uneven nails! With a pedicure and waxing I paid $76 not including tip and had to to go home and file my nails so they weren’t so noticeable until I can go and have to pay someone else to fix them! My daughters and I don’t normally go here but I dropped my daughter off for a refill while I did some local shopping. My daughter called me in tears when she was done after a horrible rush job. She did not get the color she asked for, her cuticle was bleeding and she had one acrylic replaced and the shape looked nothing like the others. I haven't been here in a few years since I stopped getting acrylics. I decided to go back for a manicure and pedicure before going on vacation. I had Kim and she was awesome! let me preface this post by saying that I am going back to work from being on Maternity Leave and I was reallllllly looking forward to this mani/pedi and on limited funds.. Im kind of disappointed that I have to write a bad review for this place since normally I like going there- but not today. a new older lady i've never seen before rushed me to pick colors, rushed through my pedicure and when she was painting my toenails she wiped the excess polish onto my flipflops.. then ...tried to talk me out of the manicure color i always get because it would essentially cause her to do her job and paint my nails with a little bit of effort . after i told her i didnt like the way she was doing them, she huffed and puffed to do them the right way all while pulling and pushing my fingers away.. the pedicure doesnt match and my manicure looks absolutely ridiculous.. i told the owner that i didnt feel i should pay $61 for this manicure and showed him.. he told me i couldnt get my money back but that he would personally repaint them which is why this review is a 3 and not a 1. I was not crazy about this place at all. Probably the only good thing that I will say is that they were able to seat me for a regular manicure right away. I was charged $12 for a manicure that only took about six minutes total. I asked for no polish or anything which might shorten my stay, but I thought they would pay a little more attention to the details. The technician only quickly soaked my hands and spend even less time pushing back my cuticles and cutting them. My nails were filed all unevenly also. I've had all good experiences here. They seem very accommodating for children , bringing them ipads to watch a movie and snacks. I haven't had a bad experience, and the place is very lovely inside. My wife waited for almost 2 hours while staff let her feet sit in freezing cold water providing little to no service. She even had to plead with someone to bring her a towel so she could leave! There was no one else waiting and zero apology from employees who could seem absolutely indifferent from wasting two hours of her day. Let's get rid of these shill reviews and start posting real experiences at this place. I don't have an axe to grind with these guys.. it's a nail salon and I'm a guy.. but when I have to hear it from my wife because these guys do not care about their customers then they are going to get a negative review every time. This is not my normal nail salon. This salon was close to where I work. I called and made an appointment to get my nails done as I would be utilizing my lunch hour. I sat here for over thirty minutes and accomplished nothing. I wasted my entire lunch break and got nothing down.  Appointments mean nothing to the workers at this salon. I come here for convenience  to get my eyebrows done but I am NEVER coming back here. I would much rather drive the 20 minutes to my other lady who 100% recommended, it's called MiMis nails in Bellmawr on the BHP. Usually the girls are so rushed in doing my eyebrows and they're so painful with it. Yes I know it's painful but they really don't care at all and just want to get you out of there so they can go work on someone else. They have no interest in building a relationship with someone. ALSO THE ONE LADY CUT MY HAIR WHEN DOING MY EYEBROWS. Yes. CUT IT. Wax had gotten in my hair near the front and she just went, got scissors and chopped it off. Clean. But insanely busy. And not the lowest price but sometimes being close is worth the extra couple dollars. It's always insanely crowded I have waited 30 minutes. They don't do paraffin or hot stone but they have different levels like a $20, $25, $30 pedicure so you can get a basic or a better one based on what you want to spend. Not the easiest parking lot. This nail salon is awesome for their speed and efficiency! I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago after a number of friends recommended it and was seated right away as a walk-in. The employees immediately greet every single person that comes in and are helpful in directing them to the proper service. Even though today it seemed like every single chair and station was filled, I was seated almost immediately for my appointment and noticed that that no one else there had to wait more than a few minutes either. I used yelp to help find a place to get a pedicure without an appointment in my area, and this got good reviews so I decided to try it.  I was very happy with the results . I didn't have to wait. Chose this place because of their easy location. I found myself too tired to be driving out of my way to spend time getting my nails done and wanted something close to to home. I figured if I went here one time and didn't like it, I wouldn't return. I did. I have gel pink & white nails. I like them thin. And I want them to last 2.5 - 3 weeks. I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Sky Nails has fulfilled all my wishes so far. My nails last, they look natural and they keep them thin. They are extremely friendly in there, CLEAN, and many techs so the wait is little. Their prices are typical but since their services are good, I think that makes them better than other places nearby. They also give you a card that they stamp at each visit, and on your 6th visit, your entire bill is 50% off!!!! I am very excited by that. Bottom Line: Give it a try. I think you'll like it. When I'm too much of a procrastinator to make an appointment at the salon, or there is a random day of summery warmth in early spring that requires me to be flip-flop ready STAT, I head over to Sky Nails for a drop-in pedi.  From what I can tell, they are sanitary (which apparently is not so common in these parts), and I often get in without any (or much, if they are busy) waiting.  The nail techs are always friendly, and they usually try to strike up a conversation, rendering me the rude one because I really just like to enjoy my massage chair and pampering without having to talk.  They offer several choices in $5 price increments, which they describe in little menus next to the chairs; you can pick the one you want without any pressure of up-selling.  I like the special pedicure, which for $30 offers a little extra foot massage and a nice lemon oil scrub.I have gotten manicures here, as well.  The regular polish jobs are pretty standard.  I've done the natural nail gel manicures (Shellac, Axxium) twice, and both times they didn't last even a week and I had to go back for (complementary) touch-ups.  I think it might be an application technique issue, and so I leave my occasional gels to my regular salon.  That aside, I've always been pleased with my services.Sky Nails is definitely one of the better (if not best) nail salons in the area.  I'll continue to visit through the quickly approaching (THANK GOODNESS!) summer months!
