The lady wouldnt listen to what I wanted, did what she wanted and said it was best. End result was lumpy looking nails with air bubbles. Absolutley horrible. I have never been to salon in the last 15 years that I felt a need to write a bad review. I later approached the woman about it nicely, and her reply was well that's because you chose to do a fill in. But that was her idea, and she wouldnt allow me to do a new set because there was alot of people waiting and then blamed me for the reason they came out badly!! The woman doing my toes was so sweet but she was very inexperienced and hurt. I am by no means sensitive. She was using a nail brush on my legs.. no pumice or stone like most places I've been to but even without those extras, it wasn't a good pedicure whatsoever. I did not want to pay for either service since we were bleeding. The owner apologized but continued to argue with me regarding the payment. A HUGE disappointment. I got the parrafin and they basically wrapped a piece of saran wrap around your hands/feet tying the wrist and ankle...then they used a plastic spoon to pour tiny portions of the wax on. The parrafin add on combined treatment was $18! A lot to charge for what was entailed. Not to mention the wax went straight on to the saran wrap as opposed to my hand or feet. Plus they skimp and do not cover your entire feet. When I commented, the lady kept gesturing it was enough. My nails were not the best either. A lot of streaking but the worst part was the woman wore her down coat so she kept accidentally brushing up on the fresh polish. Definitely amateur and I will express that they do not clean your feet at all. The bare reason why I go out to get a professional pedicure in the first place. My opinion is they have no professionalism so, only enter with very low expectations. Honestly, I don't recommend. Also, they ruined my pants because the guy pouring paraffin on to my hands kept dripping the wax all over my clothing. He did not place a towel as a basic practice. I really wanted to like this place. Honestly, most nail salons in Wayne are ugly, so I was excited to see a newer salon open so close to where I live. The salon definitely looks nice, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. I'm so in shock by this salon that I am literally writing this from the parking lot For starters, I got a basic mani/pedi. The pedicure looks alright, but it honestly hurt the entire time because of how much skin she was taking off while cutting the cuticles. As for the manicure- it's a complete mess. Every single one of my nails is covered in bubbles and the edges of my nails aren't even smooth. When I get home I'm going to have to refile them because it looks like three of my nails are torn. I also have nail dust stuck under my nails because after filing, she didn't clean under my nails. As my nails were drying, the girl next to also expressed her dissatisfaction in her nails. Moments later a group of women walked in and two of them had come in later and their gels were already ruined. This clearly isn't unusual.Another important note: you don't get any massages during the pedicure or manicure. They use a scrub on your legs and moisturize your hands, but that doesn't count. I started going to this salon once they opened. It was good at first until I was rushed through getting fill ins for my gel nails. I have noticed some of the staff are not nice and If you tell them how you want your nails or what color you want they tell you know how about this way and do it how they want to do it. It shouldn't be like that. It what the customer wants. The reason why I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK I noticed my nails where popping off and I was originally going to take them off anyway to make my nails breath. But had noticed my one nail had a weird color underneath the gel for some reason the nail that was perfectly fine had fungus growing under my nail. I had double checked to see if it was popping off and saw no signs of it. I even had my employee at work look and she had said this one is completely on your nail no signs of anything popping off. I had than went over to the salon and showed them. I was told to sit down I let them know I want me nails off now. IT HURT SO BAD they took the clippers and clipped my gel nails on top of taking a tip and slipping it under and ripping them off it had ruined my nails on top of bleeding. I kept trying to pull away and they grabbed my hand so I couldn't move. She kept telling me it was fine that the nail will grow out in 3 weeks and I will never see it again. While she is doing that she is adding another set to go over the fungus why she is telling me its not good to put anything over it to let it just grow out. I told her I DON'T WANT ANOTHER SET. I was getting angry and frustrated I told her you were going to charge me for a new set and than tried to charge me to get the 7 other nails off. I told her If I knew you would of charged me I wouldn't of come in I would of took them off myself. Over all I wouldn't recommend this salon UNLESS Fungus is your thing. Read Less

First time here, extremely disappointed!!! Got the gels, the manicurist rushed through everything. First nail salon I have ever been to that does not have you wash ur hands before applying the polish. All my nails were extremely bumpy and sharp cause they did not file the tips. I had said something before I left so they sat me back down to fix them, even after that they were still not good but I had already been there for two hours and had to leave. I was happy that they tried to fix them but then 7hrs later half the gel on my right thumb nail cracked rite off. I've had gels for over a year now and never had that happen. Did a walk-in on a Saturday so this was. Rare to find a nail salon pretty empty. The pedicure was decent and the products smelled very good. I have been a customer since the salon opened but recently my nails have been rushed and not done properly. All of my acrylics are uneven, bumpy, and the gel polish bubbled (not to mention the guilt and attitude they give you if you say you don't want gel). When my nails snapped off they charged me $3 per nail to fix even thought they broke because of the product used. I also find that the staff is very rude and god forbid if you want to change your color or if you pull away because they cut you or the file burns. I was even told I was "too much" and "are you happy now or is it not good enough for you?" Because I mentioned that the tech made my nails all different shapes. I was there yesterday as a walk in for a Mani and Pedi. I normally go to Paradise Nails in Pompton Plains but I figure this place is l2mins away. The people are nice but the guy who did my nails seems like he was in the rush and did a terrible paint job on my toes. Honestly I could have done better job my self. I didn't want to make a scene cause I am not that kind of person and I don't like give poor reviews but I hope Happy Nails read this and learn not to rush any service. Been here on 2 separate occasions with my 10 year old.  We both got the same services mani and pedicures and it's been a different price each time!  Except this time they were busy and only painted my daughters nails in the pedicure chair instead of a full manicure that I paid for!  Never again!  They had two tries and failed! My gel manicure lasts me a minimum of 3 weeks everytime & it would last longer if my nails didn't grow so fast! They are a fast yet relaxing nail salon that have great prices, product and people. I've searched high and low for a good nail salon and Happy Nails is the complete package! Read Less

I been coming here for the last 4 months- nowhere else. I am literally in here twice a week.. my acrylics snap off when I itch my arm or one time when I was running my fingers thru my hair- no exaggeration!! When I first got there everyone was so nice ( Serena is always a sweetheart tho, the best receptionist and helper). And then when I come back in to get it fixed- they don't give a shit they'll put my nail on sideways or make it way shorter than the rest. They don't talk to me anymore. They're rough and they always nic my skin and don't say nothing or when my nails burn from them holding the drill on so long and I pull away the guy just shakes his head like it's my fault. I went in there and said something after TWO nails came off 2 days after I got it done and the owner said "if you wanna show me ur nails you have to come back later because I'm busy rn". Made an appointment and I was pleased that I was seated on time. The host was friendly but the service was not good. The man who did my nails never spoke to me at all, not even to ask how I wanted my nails. He also did my pedicure and rushed though my entire time there. I was done in 35 minutes for gel manicure and regular pedicure. He never did my cuticles for the manicure, the shape of my nails were uneven, and he dug too far into my cuticles with my pedicure. Nice and friendly people, it's relatively new salon only opened last August. The tools and machines look new. Very hygienic and responsive people. I went during a non-busy time and they had me settled right away. I saw Tommy, he was nice and courteous. You did a great job on my manicure. I got a basic manicure for $10. He was quick, efficient and had me on my way fast as I was running late for an appointment. I recommend this place. Only reason I did not give five stars is because they don't have any specials for weekdays like most places do. Therefore a basic manicure and a pedicure turns out to be a total of $30. Decor is absolutely beautiful. Amazing chandeliers and furniture. My manicure was pretty basic, but not complaining at all. Their prices are pretty average- cheaper for a regular manicure (only $10!) than I usually pay ($13-15)- so that's a plus! It's the perfect place to go for a lunchtime/happy hour mani. I read other reviews that hinted at alcohol being served here, but was only teased with it staring at me on one of their shelves...so not sure about what's up with that. Let me start by saying the place is absolutely beautiful and brand new which is why I even gave it two stars. However, plan on being there for at least two hours for a gel manicure and pedicure. It took me over an hour to get a gel manicure while my sister was already done with manicure and pedicure. The girl didn't push back or cut my cuticles, barely any lotion was applied to my hands before she rubbed them so there was no point of even doing that and my nails look terrible. Not to mention then I sat down and waited for 10 minutes to get a pedicure while people who just walked in with no appointment were seen first. Wound up leaving because I was so annoyed and when I went to pay their card machine was Giving them a problem and declined my card which she told me "I'm sorry there's no money on your card" which is very incorrect not that I should have to explain that. Completely terrible experience I will never return. Spent an hour and twenty minutes and $25 dollars on the worst nail experience ever. Go to nail clinic in little falls. This salon is brand new and absolutely amazing. A friend of mine had recommended this salon, though previously I had been loyal to a different salon for a couple of years, this salon takes the cake.
