Sophia talked me into switching from acrylic to dip in February. She said it would make my nails stronger and healthier, and my nails are absolutely beautiful. She never tries to up sell me to make more money, she generally cares about what her clients want and what would be best for them. She takes care of everyone. I wanted to try this place out. I have never been here before. I came in I picked a color and then they called me over. While they were doing my nails they offered me a drink. Overall it was a very relaxing experience and I am definitely going back. My nails looked great. Read Less

I made an appointment to get three sets of new nails. I arrived at 2:30 and was told to pick a color. Both my daughter and myself unknowingly picked mood changing colors. There was nothing indicating they were on the dip color samples nor did anyone tell us until we sat there for 15 more minutes waiting to be called. The lady who called me back explained the color was mood changing so I asked if there was any color like it that did not change color. She proceeded to show me colors that were no where near the color I had chosen then was very impatient while I picked a new color. It was ok to make me and my two girls wait 15 minutes but it was a huge problem for me to pick a new color. After I picked my color she did my nails terribly. I don't write reviews but this place deserves one. I go for pedicures. Always clean, very friendly and have always had a comfortable experience. I'd been out of the area for a few years so had been going to a different spot, but recently bought a nearby condo and so happily went back to La Belle. I love this place. It is the only nail place that I have tried in Washington Township that I have gone to where I don't ever feel they are rushing to finish and move onto the next customer. I use Jennifer there and get the Pearl Spa pedicure. I highly recommend her! She's sweet and gentle when doing your feet but her massages are amazing. really enjoyed my pedicure! My mom, sister and I went in to treat ourselves. We did the luxury pedicure for $40. The ladies were nice, and the space was clean. Then came the hidden "charges". My mom wanted gel polish-she knew she would be charged more for that. BUT-her pedicure went up to $65. Without telling her, the "removal" of the previous gel polish, plus the addition of the "new" gel polish, plus an additional $5 pulled out of their asses. My sister was charged an addit...ional $5 for who knows what. Then-during my pedicure-apparently the owner, who's name is "Happy", supposedly told me that I have heavy calluses. I said ok. Apparently saying "ok" gives her the right to use a "gel callus" remover on my feet and charge me $10 extra for it. So-when i told her I didn't consent to this, and that the "customer is always right", she said, "Except in this case, where you're wrong". So, based on that, I tipped her on the $40 instead of the additional $10. She was absolutely rude. I'm sick of these nail salons up-charging guests. You need to be clear and up front, and just saying, "It's on the menu", doesn't make it right-we can't know by saying "You have heavy calluses", that that means you're going to charge us $10 more. On a lazy Sunday afternoon I decided to go for a little pamering and get a pedicure. It was late and I needed to find a place that was still open. I stumbled upon this nail salon and saw that they closed 15 minutes after I arrived. I decided to try to ask if it was too late and they were all so welcoming! I felt bad for arriving so late but they never made me feel rushed and were nothing but great about me being there. They even offered to do a manicure and did it while I was in the pedicure chair. Talk about pampering -- feet and hands at the same time! I'm really looking forward to returning and getting a manicure with some of the cool nail art that they can do. Can't wait to go back! Was not impressed. Called three days in advance for 5 pedicures, get there and we all got our chairs but one of us had to wait 1/2 until one of the technicians finished with a pedi they had called the lady in early for. We had our appointments set. They told us our nails were dry but weren't, 3 out of 5 of our pedis are ruined. Will not return. Do not want to give a star but can only post if I put a star in.
