The owner is mean to the nail technicians. She walks around barking orders. I don't like to go to places if the owner doesn't treat the employees well. I didn't like the color on my toes and asked for a color change and the owner started talking trash in Korean or Chinese. I loved Carmen the girl who did my toes. Absolutely horrible. I went in for a full set. I told her I wanted long. She was cutting down the nails while I was looking at my phone only to look up and see them no longer than my actual nail. She then said she would make them longer. Which I know is a process. Well I should have left then. But I stayed because I wanted to be positive. Turns out three of my nails are slanted. 4 of them are all bumpy. And the rest or either filed weird or different lengths. They then charged me $40. I DONT recomend this place to anyone. Read Less

Walked in today said I had a pedicure appointment no one paid that any attention they all set in the back doing each other nails arguing about who turn it was to do someone's nails. I advised no need to argue I have an appointment then they were like OK and called the young lady from the back. Technician was good. However,  place is dirty, equipment is just rinsed in soap&water then with some blue liquid, not sanitized in steriliser. Most of the  polish selection consists of product that has seen much better days...almost gone, dried up. Owner proceeded to smoke a cigarette in the back room which stunk up the whole place. Went in for a repair on one finger to a gel fill I'd had done there and when I couldn't immediately identify the color by number or name I was told I was in the wrong shop until I mentioned the name of the initial manicurist.  The manicurist who almost threw me out then offered to do the repair with a similar shade and it would be fine. Really?  When I finally found the color, the repair was done with a single coat of gel and when I asked for another coat, more attitude, chatter and giggles.Thought I found a great new shop.  Don't they know how many other places we can go?  Drop the attitude and try great customer service.  It goes a long way even with average craftsmanship. I read the bad reviews and they threw me off. I stopped in at 10 am on a Sunday, for an acrylic refill, to a very busy salon. My refill took 20 minutes and looks perfect. I commented on the quick turnaround and the woman was honest. I'm a professional and you should never be in the chair for more than 20 minutes for a refill. Amen to that! Read Less

I have been going to this nail salon for 12-13 years, the owner does my nails and I have never ever had a problem with her. She is the sweetest person and I would go no were else!! They are all very nice. I've never heard her yell at her employees either, they all get along well. And $70 for a full set with pedicure is not expensive at all. After many years of avoiding this location (prices were always high) I finally took the plunge to get a last minute, must-needed full set/pedi on a Thursday night. Unfortunately the location near Staples was totally booked so this was our last option (my friend and I went together). We immediately walked right in (next to Shoprite) -- no wait whatsoever. Didn't see any prices on the wall or on the desk...already knew to be on the lookout and ask for estimates. My pedicure was short and sweet. Nothing amazing, besides the massage chair. The lady could of rubbed my feet a little longer and harder but whatever... it was a 3/5 stars. I've definitely had better. While I was getting my pedi, the manager lady, possibly owner?, came over to start my nails which was nice. Eventually when the pedi was over I sat at her table and she started the rest of the process for my full set / French with gel. Note: I paid $70 for this basic pedi and full set! A few things..... She was rushing the process & was very rough with the drill.  I had to ask her to square off a few nails towards the end -- she listened and took care of my needs, but didn't really give off a friendly vibe. Seemed like she got somewhat offended by my suggestions... What surprised me the most was the way this lady spoke to her workers and customers that walked through the door. "Hi, What do you NEED?" Not like "Hello, how are you? What can we do for you this evening..." I was confused why a manager would have such crappy customer service. Everyone that worked there looked miserable and you could see it all over their faces. I felt so bad for them. She would yell across the room and show her frustrations when things weren't working her way. I like a business that respects their workers and acts like a team...it was somewhat heartbreaking to witness this negativity. I'm giving this place 2 stars because of her. Maybe take a management class, learn how to speak to your workers politely, say please and thank you, be calm....In the words of Stephanie Tanner..... "HOW RUDE!" this was my first time getting my nails done here. I was excited to try it out because my best friend goes here. I will never return. They lady was very nice however, the gel manicure sucked. Within 4 days of having it on, the gel started peeling and chipping. place was very dirty. 2 customers came into the shop asking for service and the lady doing my nails said that they were closing in 30 minutes and they didn't have time for them. extremely rude. I've been twice since it is convenient to where I get my hair done. They rush through the job. I've never spent more than an hour in there and that includes a pedicure and gel manicure. The polish lasts only one week before it starts peeling. The girls are nice, but it's a spot for a rushed job. Read Less

I came here to get a a French gel manicure and a regular French pedicure. The pedi lasted a good two weeks before it started getting off. As for the mani, it lasted a week. A gel manicure usually lasts two or three. Even though the people were very nice, I wouldn't come back here again since the quality is below average. Read Less

Not a very good pedicure here. I'm pretty sure she used a cheese grater on my feet after about a minute of soaking in the water. Definitely have assorted cuts all over my feet and the nail polish looks clumpy. The place was empty yet the pedicure took a total of about 10 minutes.  The only reason I gave 2 stars is because she didn't completely mess up my eyebrows. I definitely will NOT be coming back. I went to the salon a few days in advance and made an appointment. I requested an experienced person because it was the first time in a long time that I would be getting artificial nails and I wanted to be placed with someone who would do a great job so that I would love my nails. When I arrived the person that I had my appointment with Sue was not there. When Sue arrived she sat down and got to work. She seemed very nice and confident and that made me feel comfortable. I was pleased with her work up until she started to apply the gel and it when down hill from there. When Sue started to polish my new set of gel nails with the gel polish, which I would like to add was an additional charge, I placed my finger under the light for drying and when it was time to apply the gel top coat, it was very apparent that the red gel nail polish had not dried because it started to come off and onto the brush. She wiped the gel gel polish brush on the same small paper towel square that she used to clean my nails after I had washed my hands. After she had applied the clear gel top coat i placed my fingers back under the light as she instructed and when she instructed me to remove my hands and to place them on her station all that you could see was how the gel had shriveled up and did not dry correctly. Before I could say anything about what I was seeing she started to file off the shriveled up gel polish from my new set of nails. She corrected the nails that were damaged without me having to say anything. She continued to use the same dirty paper towel square as if she did not have or was not allowed to use more than one with each client. I feel as if she rushed through the application of the new set of gel nails. They were like lumpy flat surf boards but because of the polish and the shape they looked nice. Today, the day I am writing this review, four nails have popped off three of them on just one hand. I would not recommend Sue to anyone. The salon seemed to have a good clientele and they were busy but I would not recommend Sue to anyone because she rushed even after I made it clear to her why I had not had artificial nails for a few years., it is hard to find someone who does a good job and that is consistent and that I wanted to establish a relationship with one manicurist because I like to stay with the same person rather than go to whom ever is available when I arrive at the salon. Sue said that she understood and acted as if she was going to do her best. In my opinion I did not get her best and it was not cheap. Very disappointed and dissatisfied . There ATM machine was out of money and since they do not allow their clients to add the tip to debit payment I went over to the bank and got cash to take back to Sue for her tip. When I walked in she was folding towels and all I could think was " Is this why she rushed through my new set of expensive gel nails service so that she could fold towels?"Read Less

Have been here twice now, and seen Katie. I have never had to wait more than five minutes.  Their gel manicures last forever!!!! Little on the pricey side, but I don't mind paying for quality.  It's a get in get out place if you're looking for the spa treatment it's not that kind of place.  It's really clean and the service is fast, great for the price. Zero stars if it were possible. Came here with 3 female relatives. The lady who did my nails totally rushed through it. She cut me twice! No apologies! I was horrified that I was bleeding the first time. Then she did it again! I would have high-tailed it out of there if I wasn't with others.
