I literally left the salon with my nails looking like this. Yesterday I went in asking for tips (just for the length) and gel nail polish on top. The woman said she could not do tht because they will break. She suggested the Kiera Sky dip powder instead, which i agreed too, thinking it would be the color in dip powder form and would still be thin. She basically tricked me into getting the same thing as acrylic which I said I didn't want. The dip powder wasnt colored, it was the same as acrylic powder. It was clear (it couldve been actual acrylic who knows) they were so thick and not what I wanted at all. I left disappointed after paying $45. I called back today saying I wanted them fixed. I wanted them taken off and just gel nail polish on my natural nails. They wanted to charge me again $5 to take them off and $25 for gel nail polish. This wouldve been $70 within 2 days. I said forget it I am not paying $70 in two days for my nails they shouldve been fixed for free. We settled it as they took off the nails for free but would not repaint them or anything. I left the man a $2 tip because I didn't want him to get nothing for taking them off. Ive given this place so many chances and I am always disappointed. I will not be back. Read Less

came here to get my nails done before my honeymoon.. the pedicure was nice, but when it came to my nails, i literally stopped her mid-process, got up and left. she started off by asking what color i wanted while finished my pedicure. i showed her and she said ok and went and grabbed the polish. once we sat down, she didn't bother asking what type of stuff i had on my nails (acrylic, powder, gel) just kept on with trying to use the powder even though i asked and told her gel..she didn't push back or clean up my cuticles or nail beds..just completely skipped that part. she didn't use a non-burn base or primer which resulted in my nails basically burning off when under the UV light with gel.. she didn't say a word. filed them all extremely uneven, they look ridiculous. when using the tool to file down the top of the nails, she kept digging it into my nail causing me to jump and again, she didn't say a word..she finally got to the polish (even though i was unhappy with the shape of my nails and everything else, i was going to let her finish because i didn't want to complain) but she began painting my nail with a color i didn't pick.. i politely stopped her and she said no this is the color you picked..no...pretty sure i know...she went to find the correct color and came back with another incorrect one. literally not even close to it. i would've settled if it was even similar. i asked her to get the painted nail examples so i could show her which one again, and she brought over 3 other ones without it on there. i told her the brand and asked her to just grab those so i could show her. brought over more with none of the correct ones (my pedicure color was on that same example so i knew what one it was for sure) she said well i can't find it so just pick a new color.. soo i told her no thanks, i'll just leave it unpainted and leave. they still charged me full price after their huge mess up and not even having my nails painted or finished lolwill definitely not be coming back or recommending this salon to anyone. very disappointing experience. For the older woman in salon, in her 60s named Ann. She was very rude, rushed throughout the entire time, voiced her opinion in color every time and kept telling me how to get my nails done. I got a pedicure first and then my gel nails. The water was too hot so I told her and she rudely ignored me and didn't respond but made it cooler. I had my nails done prior in California with gel. I was with my cousin and she noticed Ann didn't start with my old nails and kindly asked her, "don't you have to put the foil on and the nail polish remover on her finger tips while she waits?" Ann was offended and replied, "yes, I know, I'll do it later" and huffed and puffed "I've been doing this for over 10 years!"  We were surprised with her reply. Wow! Such great customer service. After the pedicure was finished she rushed me to her sitting nail station. To make a long story short: She made my nails square shape when I asked her to do round. She didn't like the colors I chose & convinced me to change it to 'Summer colors' .. the glitter nail polish came off after the drying process (1st choice). The second set of changed different color glitter polish also didn't stay after drying process (2nd choice).The third time Ann suggested maybe I shouldn't get any polish with glitter for my ring finger since the other two choices didn't stay on and to just go with the same color as the other nails, which I don't usually do, I like to have the ring finger in glitter. So I had no choice but to choose a white color and as you can see in the photos by then ann was to the point where she was careless and annoyed. My nails didn't come out the way should have.  They are sloppily done and uneven I thought I'd get a discount or something but nope. She still asked for $50 when I was done (of course no tip!) $25 pedicure/ $25 gels. I'm warning future patrons to avoid her or avoid the salon all together. You need to figure out who the good manicurists are and goto them only.  They are fast & less expensive than most places however they will assign you whomever they want, walk away if you are notComfortable with that person.  What scares me is that I saw them dump used dry towels into water then into their hot box.  I don't believe that is sanitary.  The place overall isn't clean and I wish they had OPI gel colors.  I am concerned also that not all the staff is fully licensed in the US or if some ofThe people are just that bad.  But, when you get a good one it's really good. Pretty ironic that this place is called "best" spa and nails. If coming into the salon with a simple request to have my acrylics taken off and being completely ignored for 20 minutes while nail techs were available is considered the "best", we should look into redefining the word. Was sat at a desk only to be told the nail tech didn't know how to remove acrylics. That's like a stylist working at a hair salon and not knowing how to cut hair. I've been coming here since I've moved to the area 2 years ago. This place is very hit or miss.. the service is fast, however the execution of the nail service depending on when you go is the downfall. Not good. Got a manicure and pedicure.. the pedicure looks nice but hours after I left, my toe started aching.. turns out I have a bacterial infection and a week later, my toe is still swollen and red. the manicure looks streaky, uneven and polished down onto my cuticles. Read Less

I have been getting gel manicures for 7 years now and I just had one of the worse manicures here. I used to come here regularly, but I noticed the quality was going down. After a year of not going, I came back to find the quality has tanked. The girl doing my manicure rushed and didn't fully clean my nail. After trimming and buffing, she didn't have me wash my hands. This caused nail particles and pieces of cotton to go into the gel manicure. Her paint job was messy as well with paint going on my finger pads and past my cuticles. I have an interview tomorrow so I'm pretty upset about this result. I will never be going back here again. Read Less

Although the lady who did my nails did an amazing job with the designs I asked for, my gel manicure never stood on for more than 7 days, I thought maybe it was the first time but I tried it 3 more times and had to switch nail salons because I felt like I wasting money. So, we were a bridal party of 9. We had appointments and overall took an hour and a half for everyone to get manicures and pedicures, which was great! Unfortunately, the woman taking care of the bride was extremely rude. The bride commented that she did like the color on her toes and asked if can be a little pinker. She was told no. Flat out no. The bride was taken a back and said it was fine. The same woman, Cindy continued to do her manicure. She was being extremely rude to the bride huffing and puffing. At one time she cut her with the cuticle tool and rolled her eyes! Another customer  came in and Cindy was all smiles and polite to that woman. The lack of customer service and rudeness ultimately had my friend brake down in tears. Andy was sent away and another woman continued the service and changed the polish color. We asked to speak with the manager who advised "Cindy is a nice girl, I live with her." Great answer. Most of the manicures were nice, pedicures lack a wow factor. Nail polish is a little sloppy. One of the girls got gel manicure, and it was a little sloppy polish left on the skin. Overall it was a miserable experience that should have been a memorable moment. Since I'm not from the area I've been sampling different salons and this is the 3rd one. I arrived right when they opened and was seated quickly. The technician did cut my nails a little shorter than I wanted but they turned out good. The service didn't take long and they do great designs. That was another reason I liked then, the designs they do. They are a little pricey though what I could get at another salon for $42 costs $54 here. All in all this my experience was good and I would recommend them to others. Read Less

I went using a coupon.  The pedicure was just decent, I could of done a better polish myself.  The manicure was one of the worst I have ever received.  The polish was chipping the very next day.  While I was in there, another customer came in and was complaining and asking if the polish they were using was cheap, as her polish did not make it through the previous week.The gentleman who did my nails hardly removed any of the dead skin around them, it was a bad experience.  Never again. I got a mani pedi here while I was home for Christmas. To keep it short, sweet, and to the point: If I lived in NJ still this is the ONLY place I would get my nails done. My manicure even lasted over a week and my pedicure literally never chipped. They were really thorough and paid close attention to their work - the owner did my manicure and refused to take a tip and put it towards the guys tip who did my pedicure which I thought was really nice. I went here yesterday for the first time after deciding to discontinue going to Nail Dimensions, where I had been going for years.  I walked in and was taken a few minutes later.  I had a refill/french gel top with Jessica.  She did a great job! The salon is clean and the staff all seem very friendly. I tried this salon based on great reviews online and I'm glad that I did!  Apparently, I'm one of many customers that have left Nail Dimensions and gave this salon a try!  I'm happy that I found a good replacement! I've been coming here for a few months and the difference in my nails is night and day! Before, they would pop off in a week or so, now they stay on for 3-4 weeks! They do a great job,  super clean, and treat customers right! I had a fill done somewhere else while on a trip, and when it came off 5 days later, Tom fixed it for free even though it wasn't his work that failed. They do a nice job on designs too, although I never get anything too fancy. Tom does the best work, but I've also seen Lee, and she's good too. Read Less

I gave this nail salon 5 stars 4 years ago (2013).  I was a complete fan of their pink and white tips and came every two weeks. I went to the owner and thought he did an amazing job.  Unfortunately,  the owner decided to cut back his hours and, instead of letting me know, would just cancel appointments or not show up. I got to the point where I would just leave my number and tell him to call when he decided to show up. Needless to say, these nails need to be maintained and the salon showed no interest in maintaining them. I'm always shocked by businesses that treat customers like they are some kind of burden. Ok so the reason I went to this nail salon is because my mom goes there and gets her nails filled in there and she said she likes it.  However, I went yesterday just to get a pedicure and it did not enjoy my experience at all.  I made an appointment and waited anyway, they did not have a large selection of colors, and they did not do a good job.  I can paint my own toes and for he most part I do so I expected them to look amazing, and they did not.  The color I picked was very vibrant and she did not put on enough coats of it to make it look true to the color in the bottle.  She did shape my nails, but not very well certainly nothing more then I could have done myself.  Also my feet seem to be more dry and rough then they were before I went in.  Then before I even got to dry my nails she asked me to pay.  Overall not a good experience and I would not recommend it. This is my go-to spot for a quick pedicure. These places are a dime a dozen, however, this location is very accommodating, clean and the people that work there are very polite. I rarely wait for a service and they have the best massage chairs - sometimes that's all I go for!  Best Spa & Nails Crosswick-Ham Square locations stands out. Read Less
