This place is terrible. One star is too much! They do not honor the frequent points card, one day they say you have earned a free mani or pedi, then when you attempt to use your points they say you don't have enough. Also, they do not sterilize any of their metal tools. The sterilization bags are not subject to enough heat to indicate they are sterilized. If you don't believe this ask to see the bags as they are clearly marked. Steer clear.

This is the worst nail salon in Sparta, NJ. I own a lake house in the area and my nail salon was closed so I decided to try this salon. First of all, the lady that did my nails was very rude and not nice, her name is Susan. She removed the gel color on my nails in a very rough way and didn't do a good job at all. After two days, the color is chipped which never happened to me as gel color lasts for at least a week (see attached pictures). The owner was present in the store and when I complained about Susan, she totally brushed off my complaint. I will never visit this nail salon again.

My friend and I went a week or two ago for a pedicure because she had a gift card. While it's a little more expensive than our usual place, they did a pretty good job. I noticed they provide ANC services so I decided to give them a try. Since I have my engagement party coming up, I wanted to do a test run to make sure I liked how they do my nails. So I went yesterday and I am SO glad I did. I had a little cut on my one cuticle already but the girl paid no attention to it and continued to heavily file the area causing it to bleed (it now bleeds with any movement). Also, I understand I have very small nails but she filed so heavily that she broke open the cuticles on several of my hands which are now painful and scanned over. I also have short nails and she continued to file them down so low that two of them are now too low and EXTREMELY painful. I also have the color all around my nails that I can't remove. The staff is SO friendly so it makes me sad to write such a bad review but I paid $45 plus tip for rough looking nails and damaged, painful fingertips.

This place was excellent! I was able to get an appointment for first the on a Sunday morning when I called the Saturday afternoon before. I walked right in, picked my colors, and sat down for my manicure. The technician was good. She wasn't rough nor sloppy and I was able to just relax and enjoy the treatment. The pedicure was done by another technician and she was great too. I must say I am absolutely amazed that my mani/pedi still look great almost a week later! Granted they are a bit more expensive than the other places around, I'd go back to them for a manicure without a doubt. I do wish that they offered the complimentary should/back massage post treatment but what can you do? That could also be the achiness of the third trimester coming out :)

This was my first visit to Nail Q. I went for a pedicure with my sister and 3 yr old niece. The staff was very nice and they were great with my niece who could be a little squiggly at times. The place was very clean. Can't wait for my next pedi!

I've been going to Nail Q since 2008. I used to get a French gel manicure and they were the only game in town. Now I just get a regular mani/pedi. They have a polish they call "no chip" that lasts longer for me. Their staff is friendly, the shop is clean, no offensive odors like many salons often have and they are pretty quick. Can get crazy busy on weekends at times.

This place is terrible. One star is too much! They do not honor the frequent points card, one day they say you have earned a free mani or pedi, then when you attempt to use your points they say you don't have enough. Also, they do not sterilize any of their metal tools. The sterilization bags are not subject to enough heat to indicate they are sterilized. If you don't believe this ask to see the bags as they are clearly marked. Steer clear.

This is the worst nail salon in Sparta, NJ. I own a lake house in the area and my nail salon was closed so I decided to try this salon. First of all, the lady that did my nails was very rude and not nice, her name is Susan. She removed the gel color on my nails in a very rough way and didn't do a good job at all. My friend and I went a week or two ago for a pedicure because she had a gift card. While it's a little more expensive than our usual place, they did a pretty good job. I noticed they provide ANC services so I decided to give them a try. Since I have my engagement party coming up, I wanted to do a test run to make sure I liked how they do my nails. This place was excellent! I was able to get an appointment for first the on a Sunday morning when I called the Saturday afternoon before. I walked right in, picked my colors, and sat down for my manicure. The technician was good. She wasn't rough nor sloppy and I was able to just relax and enjoy the treatment. The pedicure was done by another technician and she was great too. I must say I am absolutely amazed that my mani/pedi still look great almost a week later! I've been going to Nail Q since 2008. I used to get a French gel manicure and they were the only game in town. Now I just get a regular mani/pedi. They have a polish they call "no chip" that lasts longer for me. Their staff is friendly, the shop is clean, no offensive odors like many salons often have and they are pretty quick. Can get crazy busy on weekends at times.
