Since I moved to Raritan a year and a half ago, this has become my go-to nail salon. I like going to Brian in particular, he does a fantastic gel polish that will last me for 2+ weeks. I did not have to make an appointment.  The woman doing my nails did not the set the price, her manager or owner did and she was not thrilled when I showed her a picture of a design I wanted and complained she had to fix two of my broken nails without charging me.  The salon does not have as many gel colors to choose from as other nail salons I've been too and although my nails came out looking exactly how I wanted, I did not like the rude attitude of the nail tech. I'm new to the area so I wanted to try this place since the reviews seem decent. Parking was easy on the street no meter. I walked in and was greeted right away. I still don't know the guys name who did my gel mani and pedi. He did a good job on my feet and hands. I was looking for fall colors. They did not have any that were nice. I asked if they had chrome nail colors the guy said next time. They don't have nice colors for gel for what I'm used to. I'm used to a plethora of colors to choose from. I had to setting for a neutral pink for my toes and a decent purple for my hands. The price for gel mail and pedi should have been a total of $40. My gel mani $30 and my pedi was $20. I never pay more than $25 for a regular gel mani. I might consider going back if I have an emergency but it WOULD NOT BE MY FIRST OPTION!!!! Read Less

These folks take their time and do a great job on your nails. I've had only my hands done with gel, and the results hold immaculately for the two weeks I give them between manicures. They'd probably last longer, but by then my nails are growing out. Haven't had the pedicures, but the chairs are usually filled when I'm there, and the customers seem very happy. Staff is friendly and very competent... Haven't had a dud yet. Parking can be an issue... They have a small lot in the back, otherwise it's on the street. Read Less

I read the reviews and thought I had finally found a nail place up here.  I was wrong!  I asked for a spa pedicure with hot stones.  She told me they had different types. I told her I didn't need the organic and she said it would be $35.  I said ok. I also mentioned that my one toe was sore ( needed extra attention).  She said ok. She started my pedicure and asked if I wanted the razor and it would be $2 more.  Ok.  I'm waiting for the mask on my legs, the Saran wrap, the hot stones.  Nope. None of that.  On went the nail polish and I was done.  Just waiting to see if she wants to charge me for my non existent spa pedicure! Read Less

My eyebrows are challenging to do because they're curly and unruly so I rarely try new places & when I do find one, I stick to it, not just the same spot but the same person. Recently, my eyebrow lady of 5+ years left her shop with no notice and never returned. So I'm  searching for an eyebrow lad again. After reading the reviews of Nail Art, I decided to take the risk. This place is fantastic! Small hidden gem in Raritan, with exceptional customer service and quality work. I moved to the area last year and have since had a few unpleasant experiences at other salons I tried (especially Elegance Nails in Bridgewater, where they were extremely rude to me). This place had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It was amazing!! From the moment I stepped in (without an appointment), they were so nice and accommodating!! Cindy did my pedicure and was really nice to talk to, and Brian did my hands based on a picture I showed him and was able to do the design and shape exactly how I wanted. I was so blown away with the experience. They actually listened and spoke English very well, so I was able for once to have a nice conversation and also felt like they understood everything I was saying to them (which I sadly can't say about some other salons). The staff is kind and attentive! I am always hesitant to get my nails done since the methods the other place I was going to had caused my nails to become extremely weak ("the easy quick way" of shaving gel polish off with a electric tool). I came here for the first time last week. I wasn't happy with some of the other nail salons that I've been to in my area, but I came across this one on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I ended up having to bring my 3 year old daughter with me because my husband called me and told me he had to work late and Thursday afternoon was the only time slot I had available in my schedule to get my pedicure done. I thought bringing her was going to be a disaster, but it wasn't. Our nail technician Nancy painted my daughter's nails with a really cute design on them and even gave her a quick mini pedicure and painted a cute flower design on her toenails. My daughter loved it and was really excited about showing everyone her nails. Nancy was very patient with my daughter and did a great job on her tiny little nails. Nancy also waxed my eyebrows and gave me a French pedicure. Both of those things came out great. I also thought their prices were reasonable and the salon very clean. I hate going to nail salons and seeing acrylic dust from other peoples nails all over their work stations and on the tools that they want to do your nails with. That was not the case here. Absolutely LOVE this place!! I've been coming here for the last couple of years since I moved here. They are so nice all of them and do a great job!! I came in at 6 one night (they close at 7) the girl stayed late just to get my nails done. I had been in a while because my life got busy and they still remembered me. I haven't gone back since Feb 26th (so about two months now) and shockingly my nails have not come off or lifted. I always try and get my nails done every two weeks but life gets in the way. I have very sensitive cuticles so whenever I've had an event to go to I used to have to go days before because they would be red or would hurt. NONE of that happens here. The place is always clean and they always use new materials. They also give you the option to purchase your materials there and keep them in your own box for the next time you go. They have a wide selection of colors and services they offers including airbrush (for free). If you get pink and white they have 3 options for the pink you can use. I love this place and recommend everyone there. The prices are cheap and they do a great job!! Read Less
