I've been there twice since they got new owners. Once my nails were beautiful and I was extremely happy. The next time, my nails looked absolutely awful. The customer service is poor. I'm afraid to tell everyone of my favorite secret in Deephaven, Lakeside Nails and Spa. I've been coming here for almost a year and I'll never stop. Phong, Thanh and team are incredible to every single person who enters their establishment. The chairs are like little shiatsu masters along with the expert service and variety of pampered offerings is what brings me back week after week. I find reasons to drive out to Deephaven from DT Minneapolis to come sit in the chair and ca...tch up with my friends while being pampered. Not to mention walking out with my nails on fleek and my feet supple and toes on point. I've never been the type of girl who cares much about my nails but now I know what GREAT looks like and more importantly what LUXURY feels like, I'm hooked. They always remember my colors from past visits, even if I don't. Every time I book my next appt they give me a discount. I'm shocked when they add up my dip nails with shoulder massage, herbal spa pedicure with the hot stone add-on; how incredibly affordable the total is. I feel like I'm getting the friends and family discount every time I come in. It's my favorite place to be during the week or on the weekend. I just had my first visit and pedicure and was very impressed. The smell was the first thing to hit me- and no not what you're thinking or what you would expect at a nail salon- we were welcomed with a soft and light floral scent as we entered the beautifully bright and very clean and spacious space. My mother (a regular) was greeted by name (as was almost every other customer who arrived after we were there). The service was excellent- I highly recommend the herbal spa pedicure. If I could give zero stars I would. Unreliable, I paid $65 for a gel full set and not even 2 days later they all fell off and broke. I called the manager and he said to come in and get them fixed for free which is nice. I came back in and got them re-done and what do you know they all broke again a couple days later. So I called again and the manager told me to come back in which I did and they all gave me dirty looks and the lady who did my nails the owners wife she said in front of everyone "I don't trust her" I never had this experience before ever at any place! My conclusion is they are using very cheap products and have very crappy customer service DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME here, I usually give every business a chance especially this one since I live across the street from this place, but for now on I will take the ride to Mullica Hill nail and spa where you get what you pay for and excellent customer service and always leave happy! I am SO happy to have this gem in our neighborhood. I have been to Lakeside twice now and received amazing service every time! The staff is so sweet and accommodating.
