First time there, recommended by a friend & they did my nails absolutely flawless. The wait wasn’t long and I got done in a decent manner. This will be my new spot to get my nails done from now on. This place is literally always crowded. It’s a race to get you in and out of the chair. Which takes away from an experience which should be relaxing. Also, the nail technicians are extremely lazy. You get what you pay for in this place. Read Less

This is one of my favorite places to get my nails done. Usually I have no problems whatsoever and my nails come out beautiful. But the last few times I’ve gone my nails have come out very thick and and wide and the paint gets on my fingers they don’t want to wipe it off and the paint has chunkiness to it. Read Less

I have been getting my nails done for over 30 years and I have never seen anything like this place! The sheer magnitude of technicians and customers was crazy! My sister was having a 40th birthday party so me and 3 of my siblings came here to get pampered in preparation. I got a fill and a pedicure and I had no complaints about anything. So I have only been here once, but this place definitely has the wow factor and the skills to back it up.  So after seeing numerous check ins from yelp friends, and a few reads of reviews, I decided to visit Hollywood nails.. I came hoping not to have to but prepared to wait since it was a Saturday morning. I walked in only an hour after they opened to find that they were already packed downstairs, luckily I was getting gel nails so I was told to head up the steps.  So when you first go in you realize the is a redone house, a big one.. you walk in there is a large room to your left a large room to you right, nail stations, pedicure chairs, and nail polish all around you.  I didn't explore to much downstairs other than a quick once over... I went upstairs and passed two rooms (converted bedrooms) into the huge master and I was in shock at the amount of polish this this place has, I went to check in saw another room with filled with pedicure chairs.. I was told to pick my color... seriously I didn't even know where to start.. But as I looked the sign said something like you aren't ready until you select your color, since it didn't seem too busy up there I didn't want to spend too much time looking and have a rush come in before me luckily something jumped out at me fairly quickly. I advised her what I chose, she advised me to have a seat.  Since they have so much polish, they have a numbered system with their polish, they have the gel polish with the corresponding regular polish for their same match selections.  They have obviously been in business for a while or have at least paid enough attention to know what works, they have quite a few systems to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency.  They have a ton of workers those doing nails, those fetching needed items for those doing nails and wiping down stations between customers, they seem extremely efficient.  After a fairly short wait, much shorter than I anticipated, I was paired with Chi who started on my nails, she asked if I wanted to cut my nails down, which I did because they were uneven, she cut them to a perfect length and began her work, she explained just gel was 20 with the manicure was 25 I opted for the manicure, I needed it anyway, I'm glad I did my cuticles were out of control, and she tamed them without a pinch or a cut which I experience during my last manicure elsewhere, I walked out bleeding on 3 fingers -_-... I did not experience that here, at all, it was very relaxing.  I had selected two colors and had actually saw another as I was sitting down so we toyed with how to incorporate the three.. Chi was very helpful, and they turned out great.  On to my pedicure, I was a little defeated when I got up and realized there were no pedicure chairs available, I wondered how long the wait would be but Chi walked me into the room and through a door which led to a hall with 2 additional rooms with 3 chairs each... WOW like seriously how big is this place... we walked to the empty 2nd room and she started my water, within 5 mins the other two chairs filled up. Chi set the chair to massage settings and adjusted the seat for me.  The pedicure was very relaxing, I had the color match options to go with my gel nails.  I missed my mini hot stone massage, but not too much it wasn't worth the price I was paying compared to here. After the massage I was lead back into the room where I got my nails done to dry my feet.  I paid, stayed a few cycles and left.  On the way out, going downstairs I noticed it was even more packed and there were actually people waiting outside.  I guess everyone must already know about this place, I will definitely be back, they have my business! as a 14 year old girl i am very anal about my appearance and like my nails a certain way. i like long stileto or almond nails. i've always gone to hollywood when i want a runway ready nail..in most cases i come here but when i just need my nails done i go somewhere else, and i've never been 100% satisfied with my nails. if the image will load the blue stileto nails are mine as if now and i will try to upload more, but to wrap it up i love hollywood and probably nothing could top this nail salon😊 Read Less

Love the owner and staff, they keep the salon very clean and decor is beautiful. My only small dislike is parking. Theirs a very small 6 car slot for parking in the back. It's a residential area and parking is hard to get. Besides that, I really love the place. Read Less

Every time I go I send $50 or more on my nails on top of pedicure! I didn't have a babysitter today because everyone is working and today was my day off so I needed a refill badly. went in there thinking kids are cool well nope there not child friendly! Not even with a stroller because supposedly there's no space when a small stroller fits right next to the station you get your nails done. I never take my kid there, but I was out of luck and really needed my nails done. I'll never go back. I'll just go to lux nails there child friendly!!! Read Less

The wait can be long if you come in for one thing, but if you get a Pedi, refill, and eyebrows, you're constantly moving and it goes faster.  I never have an issue here and all their techs know what they're doing. Read Less

They can't paint a nail to save their lives. Too thick or lumpy not sleek and smooth like its supposed to be. At times I have great experiences at this location and then other times I tell myself I'm never coming back. Also the owners customer service stinks. Initially, I loved this place. I have several salons closer to me but if always travel here. However, my last few appointments were traumatizing. First, their color selection of regular polishes are terrible. I can never find one that I like and I always just settle. Every time I try to show them a color of polish I like, they bring back colors that aren't even close I.e: pale pink vs fuchsia.  Danny, one of the nail techs, is super nice and one of the only people I like there. He speaks very good english and kept a conversation the whole time with me. However, I received two infected toe nails from here and had to pay a total of $100 between doctors visits and medication for it. And the final straw: while upstairs getting my pedicure a cockroach crawled on me. The nail tech started swatting me with a towel to get the roach off. I was disgusted. After I paid I went downstairs and asked to speak to the manager. It was an older man that didn't speak a lick of english. I would've preferred to speak to the younger man, but I didn't have the choice. I told him about the roach and he said "ok" and that was it. I wasn't offered my money back or a free manicure or anything. I haven't gone back ever since. Please steer clear of this place. Read Less

If I could give this a negative 5 stars I would!I received a staph infection in both of my eyes and face after receiving services for lashes. The customer service was horrible. The owner tried to say it was an allergic reaction but it was not. I ended up at Urgent Care and was prescribed several antibiotics for the bacterial infection due to unsanitary conditions. I also had facial swelling and pus pockets on my face. Horrible!!I previously had been a customer for 14 years and could not believe how I was treated. I want to start this review by saying I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of how crowded this place always is!!! It doesn't matter what time of day, day of the week, anything!!! It's always crowded! I don't have enough time in my life to wait 1 1/2 hours to get my nails done, I barely have time to get them done period. I just think they could have expanded into a different, more accommodating facility by now. With that being said I have tried several other places over the years ( been a customer of Hollywood since 2007; so going on 8 years now) and non are as good as Hollywood! Every time I go here I am more than pleased with the way my nails turn out! You can show them any picture and they are pretty much able to duplicate it! Their eyebrow waxing is on point as well. They are very thorough and do a good job. Besides that, you cant beat the price here! $5 eye brow waxing, 20 full set. I try not to go anywhere else unless I have no other options. Read Less

Went today to Hollywood because my usual place was booked n busy and I wasn't gonna have time to go back there to them later or the next day..I had already waited long enough for a fill in (nails were broken and grown out AF...acrylics). I zipped over to Hollywood, promptly was greeted, picked out a color and within 5 minutes I was in a chair...I was nervous because I had heared it's a hit or miss there, you gotta know who to get..which I obviously dont. Luck of the draw I got a man by the name of Kenny, needless to say he did a great job and I was very pleased. I'm not gonna abandon my Infinity for this place, but it'll def be my second choice :). This is the best nail salon hands down... take that into consideration when the wait is long. Its worth it. I've tried going elsewhere, and came right back. I've got acrylic nails here years ago, and even then, they were the best. I've since then transitioned to gel nails. And let me tell you, they are the best at their craft. I've been going here since middle school in the early 2000's. Always consistent. The technicians are very friendly, and patient!!! The owners constantly make rounds to make sure everyone is ok. I have been coming here for almost 10 years! Wow I just felt old! Anyway, all of the technicians are very friendly and provide excellent services for a far better price than 99% of other salons in south jersey. During the holidays Sandy the owner hands out bath & body works lotions to her repeat customers. Which is a nice touch and makes you feel appreciated. This a large salon spread out over two floors. A great salon for detail oriented manicures!  They take their time and listen to what you want done.  It's a fairly large salon with 2 floors, gel is done upstairs. That was a new experience for me.  It's probably better to have a picture for them but they are creative with all kinds of 3D ornaments.  I will definitely get my manicures with nail art done here!
