This was the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. My friend and I wanted to have a girls day and get our nails done. We tried to call and make an appointment but the phone continued to ring and no one answered. When we arrived we were told theres was a 30 min wait for a main and pedi. We walked around did some shopping and came back. We had to wait another 15 minutes when we got back. They started with our pedicure and told us to sit in the chairs. I had to wait another 25 minutes in the chair for a pedicure, the water was cold by the time she even got to me. After my pedicure I had to wait almaot 20 more minties to be seated for a fill in. When I showed the guy what I wanted he told me he couldn't do that and walked away from me. The design was a simple pineapple on one finger and black and white stripes. When he came back I asked if anyone could do that he said no. Even though they have more intricate designs on their display. My friends acrylic set was done improperly and began chipping before she even got home. They were very rude to her and you can tell they were rushing because of the holiday weekend. They close at 8pm during the week and continued to take clients well after 730, they then rushed though everyone who walked through the door. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Not only did they refuse to do extremely simple designs because they wanted to leave for the weekend early (which one of them were very open about) but they didn't fully coat my nails with the gel I asked, my toe nails aren't fully painted, they hardly ever answer the phone to make appointments(and their mailbox isn't set up) which caused a huge fight within the salon amongst management and customers. I wasn't the only one unhappy with their nails that night either, many others were complaining. It was a hostile, unprofessional environment and even though my nails are a mess, they don't want to give a refund. Instead I was yelled at. I don't expect much from these kinds of places, but this isn't worth the hassle. The nail salon by five below in north Brunswick is way better. This place is straight TRASH. Read Less

Decent place.  They stay busy a lot, so unless you have an appointment, you may wait a bit. I only go to Simon, he's the best.  Always pleasant and we always have a great conversation. The prices aren't that bad.  They are inside Walmart,  so of course there's traffic.  Wal-Mart is renovating,  so I don't know where they'll end up. Read Less

So FILTHY! Wish 0 stars was an option!!!! got a nasty lady greating me at the door directing me to a pedicure chair, she was so rude I almost got up and left. I originally wanted a gel manicure and pedicure but after the lady put my foot in a filthy pedicure tub, I decided that would be the last service I got there. Overall the place was disgustingly filthy I feel like a need to shower after leaving and the pedicure was horrible. No massage, dirty tools and pedicure tub and I told her not to cut my cuticles in fear of getting some type of infection or worse. Someone should call the board of health. This is the dirtiest nail salon I've ever seen in my life.  I walked in just as they opened and immediately noticed 1.the dirty floor 2. an empty bottle and a crumbled up skittles bag. I went over to pick a polish thinking maybe they were just super busy the day before and are having an off day and noticed a few of their usual customers were waiting. I took a look at their toes and saw some jacked up little piggies....Oh, and a baby's pacifier on the floor next to one of the patron's feet although there were no kids in the nail salon. Customers were complaining about the wait time and fighting about who was first.  The people working there just seemed to ignore it all. went here many years ago. I agree with the negative reviews. I experienced it.   there was one tech who did my nails. used the sander thing .    felt  like my finger was burning. oh whats a little pain. then and there I should have left.     I would never return there.   that's for sure.   they keep doing negative things they will lose customers and close.      I am surprised the board of health doesn't check them out for not using sanitary tools,etc.      sorry for those who suffered with infections.   I had a friend that went there as well.   she wound up with a fungus from there had to take all her nails off.    to this day she hasn't returned there.    its a shame they let places like that stay in business. doesn't anyone check them out?     seems they don't. Worst experience, the nail salon looks very clean but they do not sanitize the tools  & use it for the next customer.  I saw it with my both eyes that she use it on the lady next to me & then try to use the tools on me without sanitizing it. I ask for a new or sanitized tool & she told me it's clean. Then went to the next station grab those tool which I think it wasn't sanitized too. When she put polish on, it went to my skin & she clean it off with a little pick & stab side of my toe & I said ouch. She gave me a nasty look without apologize to me. Then when she ask me do I want design on my pedi, I said yes. Without asking is there any design I like or color, she just scribe a few line which Is not even equal or nice. (I hated) On the top coat it didn't even cover entire nail only part of it so when it's all dry & it looks like my 3yrs old helped me. Lesson learn never go back. Read Less

Visiting Jersey and saw the reviews for this place so i decided to give it a chance. Im extremely happy with how my nails came out. Ask for Simon! He is very nice and does an excellent job. I originally came in to have my acrylics taken off and get a gel manicure because i had just gotten a refill somewhere else and i hated it  but he reshaped my nails and redid my refill to my liking. Awful awful awful experience.  I was in a pinch in between meetings and I stopped in to get a gel manicure.  First let me say that I pride myself on my strong, natural nails.  That being said, they completely ruined my nails.  So here it goes, I was moved three times and had two different nail techs working on me in the beginning.  When I finally got someone they weren't allowing the proper time for the gel to be removed using the remover.  So because of this they kept trying to sand it off my nails.  I kept telling them no, I wanted them to soak longer but it was too late at that point.  Honestly I should have walked out but I really had to get my nails done and I thought maybe they would listen to me.After this terrible removal experience, they put on polish and I went on my way.  Well two days later my nail starts to break and then another day later the polish starts to chip.  I paid $25 (which is the going rate at most places around here) for a manicure that was supposed to last at least 2 weeks and it didn't even make it out of the first three days.  So save yourself the pain and aggravation and DO NOT go to this place.  No matter how badly you need your nails done. This is a very busy salon because of its location and its prices.  Right inside Walmart is a prime location for people to just stop in and have their nails done.  Their prices are very inexpensive for the services they provide.  I've never had a bad experience here and I always come back.  The staff is friendly and the clientele is sometimes quite interesting. located inside the Walmart. yes I agree they are not too careful there. had a bad experience with them as well. the one guy doing my nails kept using that filing drill on my nail til i could feel it go thru to my real nail. ouch. i complained to stop and was told oh a little pain is nothing. never went back neither has my daughter. a friend of mine had hers done there as well and wound up with an infection on her nails. who knows if they clean their stuff. they also wait for you to give them a tip how rude. been thru a few other bad ones lately and looking for a new one now. cant see how they are always busy in there now . place was redone too not too long ago. maybe new people there now who knows . lost my business Read Less
