I went to Nail Works to get my nails done for prom only because my regular spot (Blossom Nails) was closed on Sunday, which was my only free day. At Nail Works they're quick and at first seem very good at what they do. I asked for a new set of acrylic and coffin shape. She did them great at first, very well shaped but they did seem extremely thin to me, like they would almost break off for anything. I got my nails done on Sunday and by Tuesday my nail broke from the slightest pressure. I had prom Wednesday and passed by Nail works asking if they can quickly fix that 1 nails and they told me I would have to sit and wait..... just for 1 nail..... ok. So then Friday comes around and 2 more nails break. I actually don't do any hard work at all, All i do is work on the phone and writing.. NO NEED FOR BROKEN NAILS WITHOUT IT EVEN BEING A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH AND on top of everything this costed $40 REGULAR ACRYLIC WITH COFFIN SHAPE. BLOSSOM NAILS IS WAY BETTER, MORE AFFORDABLE AND LONGER LASTING.

I called many times back to back cuz someone would answer and talk to other people, did not even bother to say hi to me or find out why I am calling. On top of that i explained i want a gel acrylic mani and a ledi and they charge $75. I called someone very close by and have good reviews as well and for the same thing they charge only 50! Big difference!

Friendly staff, great prices and clean. Had a great pedicure with reflexology massage. Would definitely come back!

Best nail salon. Ester the owner makes you feel right at home. She runs her salon efficiently and is a clean freak. Ask for Cindy she's an amazing nail artist.

One of the best places to go to get nails done but there's often lots of people so be prepared go wait. It gets crazy and not managed well. Sometimes you will end up with 2-3 people working on you so you end up selling out more tip. I found the workers disrespectful to the owner and customers. They are out the door at 8pm and will not finish their job and leave the owner alone to finish everyone's nails. Not cool. They do a great job in manis and pedis. Lots of gel colors and nail polish colors to choose from

Lovely staff, wonderful job. My nails were destroyed after a prior horrible mani in long branch but Mercedes was able to salvage them!

Such a great salon and I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who worked on my feet. She was so precise and meticulous, I was impressed. The owner is quick to tend to customers. Overall it's an efficiently run salon. You can tell the owner is slowly fixing things up and improving the overall appearance of the salon too, which I appreciate. Edit. Got the girl's name and her name is Claudia. She's great with getting underneath the corners on the nails and cleaning up the cuticle. She's earned herself a regular and I always try to tip her generously when I go.

I went in for a regular manicure & pedicure and all I can say is that my seven year old niece paints my nails way better. They should just hire her. I'm really particular when it comes to my nails getting done and for the service I was provided with I should of just saved myself the money and time by giving myself my own mani n pedi.

I called a few days in advance and made an appointment for a specific time. I explained to the woman on the phone I needed a specific time so I could schedule -appointments around that for the rest of the day. She assured me that I would be taken care of.I got there about 5 minutes early for my appointment and not only did no one greet me as I walked into the establishment, I stood there for about 10 minutes with no where to sit. I am almost 7 months pregnant and not one technician even looked up and noticed that I had no where to sit since they had 4 other women waiting, or even to ask if I had an appointment. After about 15 minutes of standing there and being ignored, I left and went across the street to Paula Nails. They were great by the way!I will not be giving this place another chance after that.

Nothing like the disgusting Nail salon on 55th and Bergenline called Ruby's Nails worst experience in my life. DO NOT EVER GO TO RUBY'S NAILS you will regret it. My first time coming here on Vday. I live in Secaucus and finding a good nail salon in Jersey is hard. I normally have to travel back to Queens because I always feel like:1. Mani-Pedis should never be more than $30!!2. My nails start to chip after the 3rd day. 3. I want someone who really rubs my feet and legs. Someone who knows how to cut cuticles without hurting me.So after living in Jersey for almost 3 years, I think I finally found my salon. Mani-Pedis are $25 on the weekends. Patricia was FAB!! She took her time.. Didn't rush me at all and was very meticulous with her work. Best thing is that my mani has never lasted this long. Loveeee! I'll be back in a few days

I went to Nail Works to get my nails done for prom only because my regular spot (Blossom Nails) was closed on Sunday, which was my only free day. At Nail Works they're quick and at first seem very good at what they do. I asked for a new set of acrylic and coffin shape. She did them great at first, very well shaped but they did seem extremely thin to me, like they would almost break off for anything. I called many times back to back cuz someone would answer and talk to other people, did not even bother to say hi to me or find out why I am calling.
