After going to different nail salons and don't get what I wanted, I stopped by Pro Nail & Spa to give it a try. That was on 12/21/2017,I wanted my nails ready for Christmas and because I was going to travel to Florida for the holidays. I got acrylic fill  and pedi,both with gel nail polish, and I have to say that this is the first time that I have waited more than a month to get my nails again,I usually have to return to the salon after two weeks because my nails begin to lift and come off, but this time they are perfect! They have resisted 10 days of vacation, pool, Disney, all the chores that I do in my house, I have two daughters, a dog that I do her grooming and more! I've gone for a pedicure 2 or 3 times with no complaints but went for a gel manicure and was throughly disappointed!  2 days later the polish was chipping and by the 5th day it was peeling off.  I've had other gel manicures elsewhere that lasts 2 weeks and requires soaking them to get the polish off.  I can say for sure I won't be waisting my money there again Read Less

Where to start? I first called to ask how much a pedicure is and they told me. So I go and there is a hand written sign that says there credit/debit machine isn't working. Wouldn't you tell someone who called that it isn't working? I don't have any cash so I go to leave, but log course they have an ATM with a surcharge and say they will make up the difference for me. Do they? Nope. Also there is no credit card machine in sight so I have a feeling they just don't have one. I wait 30 mins while 2 people who came after me go in first. Then after getting my skin ripped off my toes she accidentally dumps nail polish remover all over my feet thinking it was lotion. Got acrylics with Danny. Good job; only 2 things that bothered me. He tried to persuade me to get gels on my acrylics. (A proper 2 coats/top coat will last until the next fill. It's just a way for them to get more money). When I refused, he got an attitude. Also pulls his cellphone out every 10 mins. My mom had her nails done by Cindy sometime after and recommended her. Cindy had knicked her a bit and caused bleeding (used the "thin skin" excuse) my mom didn't complain but noticed the tools weren't cleaned/changed for the next client. For my 2nd appt, I asked for Cindy. Nightmare! None of my nails were uniform. Thin, thick, round, square..completely botched! At my 3rd appt, I got Tom. Did a MARVELOUS job without much instruction from me, talked to me, and unfortunately quit a few weeks after. Again, I got Cindy and had her file until I got my desired shape. After 3 failed attempts, I went home and filed myself. For my last appt, I had Cindy. Gave her a picture to use as a guide. Did better this time but what became the final straw was the ending. I got up to pay. Danny was with a client, another tech was in the back, and Cindy left for the night. There was a new guy who seemed to be angry about something. While I stood there, he stepped outside to talk to someone. Danny goes outside, leaving his client. 5 mins later, they come back. Danny sits down / the new guy looks at me. I say "Can I pay?" He comes over, still talks to Danny, paying me no mind. He asks how much the fill was. I said "I don't know. Cindy didn't say." Takes my card and says nothing else/goes back to talking to Danny. Also seems like everyone throws shade. On 3 occasions, my nail tech would ask who did my nails last and they make disapproving faces. The unprofessional operation of this place is why I refuse to return. At first, I accepted it because it's cheap/10 mins from my house. I'll find another cheap place with quality customer service. First two visits were good, quick, and reasonably priced. Third visit was around the holidays and had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for an appointment that I was advised to make by an employee. Decided to take my business elsewhere when someone else "raced" to the next available chair and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Getting a manicure or pampering oneself should be much less stressful and a lot more professional. Read Less

I decided to stop into this store to have my nails done as i just joined sams club so i proceeded to this shop to get my nails done. I was told to sign my name and i couldnt find the sheet ..not so bad i blew off the desk .. i was then assigned to a nail tech.. He said only to me what he had to say and then nothing more..which also is ok by me .. he proceeded to do my nails and in the preparing to do a gel manicure..he started filing and buffing so on .. he began to take my hands to polish ..i said to him , my nails still look uneven to me .. he picked up the file and filed one nail and began to polish .. i have to tell you i have been having my nails done since I am a very young girl..i am now much older and i have to say i have never ever had a worse manicure in my life. My daughter saw them the next day said did you do your own nails they look like crap..also the mans that did my manicure also had long nails that were not well maintained and reminded me of dirty..I have gone there once and i will never ever return to this place again and i don't recommend that you do either.. that is what i get for going someplace other then what i am accustomed to .. they were awful here..in the interim the tv was on and a football game was on and they were rather distracted by that also ..wondering if that had anything to do with the most awful job..they will see no more of my money they need to get real down there. I have been to their Hackettstown location twice.The first time the girl cut my toe nails super short and they were not even but whatever they were new. I had an appointment and I had to wait.I tried back a second time with my friend. We made two appointments only to come into one worker able to do our nails. He also had two other clients in front of us that did not have an appointment as the receptionist told us, once we realized there was one worker and four of us we left. Terrible service. I have been a customer for 2 years and went to the new location and got gel and gel color. I never made a big deal of the price I was told all I said is when I first got my nails done in Mt Olive location I was charged a different price. No biggie I understand someone could have charged me wrong. So I left it alone but to only have a phone put in my face so the owner could FaceTime a customer to basically tell them they didn't pay that. I have never seen how unprofessional t...hey could be until yesterday and my sister is a witness to it. I got so upset that they could do that that I had to end the conversation with Kevin on FaceTime as his brother rudely puts a phone in my face before I got real nasty. Point blank you do not do that to a customer. All you had to say is I think you were charged wrong but the price is 50. Ok end of story. I can't believe after 2 years I saw how low they can be. My coworker and I were just transferred to Flanders and decided to try pro nails  salon.The workers were great very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the co owner is a very mean spirited man. I wanted a manicure and pedicure but the wait was too long and I had to settle for just a pedicure. The pedicurist was very sweet and offered to remove my chipped polish even though I didn't have time for a full manicure. The mean spirited owner noticed what she was doing and stood several feet away glaring at us. Then he scolded her in his native (maybe Korean or Vietnamese) language. She was forced to stop and left my nails looking like a disaster. I literally looked like I had just eaten a bag of cheese doodles or buffalo wings Also another customer wanted to purchase an emery buffing block. 2 workers spoke in Spanish about how this man did not want to sell the customer (my coworker) the block. (Of course they didn't know I understand Spanish)   So in front of the owner and on behalf of the owner they lied and said they didn't have Any more emery blocks. I hope to continue to work in Flanders for many years but I will never go to this salon again Read Less
