I visited, and very poor service, the main owner doesn't even greet me. No hi no hello nothing, I sat there almost 1/2 hrs and she came and asked me about what I want to do. First they did pedicure , and also wanna do meni too but they didn't take me for that and I sat almost 45min and I paid and left ... bcoz no one asked me . Ridiculous... I gave this place 5 stars before but now I have to change it after visiting another local nail spa. First few times at nirvana salon were pretty good but after my last visit I left very dissapointed. I asked for a Simple design - they told me they can't do it. I showed them another one that is on the picture. She said: "No problem". I ended up having thick, uneven, bubbly shovel shaped nails, with Brown tips instead of red. When I asked to wipe out brown and just leave it black I was giving a dirty look and an attitude. She was definitely pissed and was trying to tell me that this is the only way she can do it and the tips will never be red on black. Lol. Yeah, right. I ve done this design last year and it was exactly like on the picture below. I explained her how to achieve that result but because of the language barrier or unwillingness to try she made me leave it black. In the end I was overcharged for the design she couldn't accomplish,even though she said she could. Another thing I didn't like about this place that when I come she always takes out tools from under the table. They are not sealed in the packages nor she takes them out from the sanitation station. So I don't know how many people used the same clipper, cutter before me. Also there is no price list and no banner that could tell me what services they offer. You have to ask if you want to find out. Pedicure was good though. I wish I took a picture withan uneven and thick nails but I didn't . s So choice is yours but there is better places in the area. We love Nirvana! They are the best of many nail salons I've been to (between DC, Maryland, and Virginia as well as some other various salons). The prices are more than reasonable. Best of all? The massage! My leg/ foot massage today with my basic pedicure lasted literally over 15 minutes. They also give you a shoulder massage when you move to the drying area. Read Less

I came for  shellac polish on my fingernails and regular polish on my toes. I was with a family member as I was having them done for my wedding. First off, we had an appointment and ended  up being 7 minutes late. I had called in advance to let them know we would be 10-15 minutes late. The owner said if we were any later we would have to reschedule. My issue is it was a Monday morning at 10am and we were the only customers there the entire time. This place accepts walk ins anyway.. I'll admit I am unique, but I asked for a bowl of water so I could remove my cuticles myself with my own tools I had brought. The owner was rude about that and me not wanting her to use the buffer on the top of my nails. Aside from her poor attitude the nails themselves were OK. Not the beat or worst I've had. My main issues are she did not apply polish to the tips. Thats what seals them and there should be color there. Also, she used the file to go around the nails AFTER they were done which smudged one nail on the side and further breaks the seal. That should all be done prior to polish. I would not have written the review if she had not been so unfriendly and rude. Read Less

Awful. Rip off awful. I paid $69 for a pedicure and color gel manicure only to have the Polish on my toes bubble up and the "gel" Polish on my nails chip after less than 24 hours. Even the nails that aren't chipped look like a 10yr old painted them. It's not even worth going back. I'll pay someone else to redo it. I wish I could post pics. Fair warning: you may as well put your money in an incense burner. :( Read Less

One of my best friends and I were visiting Budd Lake for just the night... and called Nirvana Spa and Nail for a pedicures and gel manicures. This might've been the best pedicure ever! It was an hour and a half of pure luxury! I'm sure we got the more detailed pedicure, but well worth it! The manicures were very nice too! Everyone who worked in the salon were very sweet. Came once, and don't go anywhere else. Nice little Spa-like salon. Sue, Kay, and (other Asian lady) do great nails: mani and Gel. Emily and Miria do the best pedis to perfection...They must be Virgos!!!Won't lie, a bit pricey (to remove color gel:$1 per nail) and parking is tight. Have been going here since my mother-in-law treated me to a gel mani here one year ago and love this place! They are very friendly, not overwhelming with the chatter (I can't stand places that try to sell you every product or chew your ear off), are detail-oriented, and make sure you leave happy! One time I went for a regular mani and the tech was newer and knicked my cuticle. (Ouch). Kay made sure to patch me up, make sure the mani was perfect, and knocked off a few dollars for the hassle and extra time. I LOVE how they do their gel manicures too - unlike other places, they don't shave down your real nail with the electric file. I found that would always weaken my nails, and they just use a file and buffer. The gel lasts longer than other places - and looks great! I could not say enough positive things about this place.
