Visited Blush for a pedicure for the first time -several issues:  after removing shoes and sitting in salon chair ready to put my feet into the bath, I'm told the nail polish I picked was $5 extra. But there were No prices listed by the nail polish.  How was I supposed to know I picked a $5 polish?  Then they tried to talk me into up-charging my pick for the basic pedicure. (Only prices listed are for high-end pedicures). Lastly the owner "accidentally" almost short changed me my change. I had to point out he was shorting me $5. I received a gift certificate and lost it and then found it after the expiration date. I figured I would try to redeem it and I let them know right away that it was expired, before any services were rendered. The man I spoke with was very rude and told me it was my fault I lost the gift certificate and that I could only use 50% of the value, even though he kept the entire purchase price of the certificate. He told me "business is business" and that he didn't have to let me use any of the certificate since it was expired. I walked out and told him he lost a customer. Guess what.... it's actually ILLEGAL to put an expiration date on a gift certificate. Good luck with your "business." Wonder what the Better Business Bureau would think of this... Read Less

I like this salon a lot. They always make me feel very welcomed and they do a pretty good job. Ruth gives and amazing massage and the gel manicures are always on point. Several times I had my nails chip after a week or even 4 days and they fixed them for me no problem. Sometimes there is a wait but its never that bad. I dont like to linger in the salon too long I usually go in off hours to avoid the rush of people. Prices are fair. Read Less

Went in with no appointment so understanding there would be a wait, but was not told how long wait would be.  My friend and I were on our lunch break so that would have been good to know....considering I waited 45 minutes until someone started doing my nails.  25 minutes later I have a color I don't like with paint all over my skin, hangnails untouched, nails that were not the length I asked for, and a new cut in addition to the one I asked to be observed but wasn't.  So unhappy and late that I didn't even bother to use my "frequent flyer" card. Nothing better than taking a break from work to step up, get some fresh air, and treat yo'self.Blush Beauty Bar is my go-to spot for lunch manicures near my office. It is close to work, the prices are comparable to the industry, its clean and they do a good job - what more do you really need?Finding clean nail salons is big to me, and sometimes hard to come by. Worst service I have experienced at a salon.  2 friends and I had 10am appointments today.  We got there at 9:55, saw 3 people walk in (before they opened) and got taken. Without appointments.  The owners have no idea how to run a business.  We waited for 30 minutes, got started and stopped.  There was no organization.  Technicians moved in between customers with multiple manicures started at once.  A mani / pedi took 2.5 hours.  And costs more than my favorite place down the street. All I wanted to do was leave as I went to the drier.  A technician pushed into me as I was sitting down, which caused my fingers to hit the fan and required a fix of my nails.  When she saw what I did, she yelled nice job and walked away.  The owner offered me coupons with an apology.  I politely declined.  I won't be back.   Awful. The inside of the salon is clean, professional and overall relaxing! The staff is very polite, accommodating and attentive!  There is also a huge selection of colors to choose from. I only got a gel manicure but will definitely be going back again and also getting a pedicure! Read Less

I am visiting from out of state. This salon was recommended to me. I could of did without the recommendation. I asked for a pink gel fill. The fill is not pink because she shaved off the color after applying it. This wasn't only the worst part. When I was told to put my hands in the UV light to set the gel, my hands were burnt!! This is NOT a good place at all. The only reason I went was because my usual place (which is amazing) couldn't take me right away and I was in a rush. I got a French pedi and French gel mani. The pedicure was fine but the manicure was terrible. On one of my fingers I had some open skin by the cuticle and the lady just decided to file on top of it which was REALLY uncomfortable. Also, on three of my nails you could see a line where she added more white polish to make the tip bigger. It wasn't completely solid. The worst part was that the gel started peeling after 5 days. It's supposed to last 2 weeks. I've had it for 9 days now and I've peeled off all of the white gel parts. I paid too much money for very bad quality. Don't ever come here. Read Less

This is my go-to nail salon anytime I'm home at my parents. Not only is it clean and very chic, but they take great care of you.If you get your nails done, you know there are those salons that treat you like you're not even human. Don't make any attempts to personalize the experience and very often the technicians sit chatting amongst themselves while scrubbing your nails till they hurt. Blush is nothing like this. They know they're customers by name and make you feel right at home to get the most out of your experience.If you're looking for quality, go to Blush - it also doesn't hurt they have a loyalty program so if you go a certain amount of times, the next is on them. They do good mani/pedis but I stopped going here because the owner is very pushy and pretty rude. She would not leave me alone when I declined a $120 facial after she insulted the clarity of my skin. She even retrieved my phone number from a previous appointment and called me several times trying to get me to spend more money. Needless to say, I was pretty offended. Read Less

I've never been particularly good at doing my own nails. (Especially when it's my left hand's turn to paint, am I right ladies??) So it comes as no surprise that I've become severely dependent on Danny at Blush Beauty Bar to keep my nails prim and proper. Don't be fooled by his gender. Danny is good at this, and he takes real pride in his work. If you need a reference I posted some recent pics. (Cindy is very talented too! Her manicures last weeks.) Aside from the talented team there is a real sense of belonging when you come into this place. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and genuinely nice.
