We made appointments on their website, but their website was unclear about the fact that if they don’t call you, you dont really have an appointment. They called us telling us we had made appointments 100%, but when we showed up, they had the nerve to say that their internet was down and they had never told us that. They talked super condecendingly to us as if we were somehow stupid for misunderstanding their extremely inconvenient system — tell me if I’m wrong, but if they confirm your appointment with you, doesn’t that mean that you HAVE AN APPOINTMENT? 1 star, super rude customer service, will not be back. This salon is by far my favorite since moving to the area. It took me a while to find a salon to replace where I was going and I’m so happy I found De Beaute. Also they are open on Sunday’s which is a real find for Bergen County. I can’t reccomend Daniel enough for color, cuts, styling and hair advice. He is super knowledgeable, talented and a true pro. As a man it is different to say that I get manicures and pedicures, but there is the awesome lady, JEN, who helps me regularly. She is amazing at everything she does! Wow! What a great experience!! I came for a Brazilian blowout and ended up getting a haircut and a pedicure. The entire staff was welcoming, professional and really skilled. Daniel is "the bomb' at hair- and believe me- mine was a challenge. Mirian gave me THE most wonderful pedicure that I can't wait to come back. And sweet Katie is the shampooer extraordinaire. I found this salon online, and have been coming back ever since. I didn't know this place existed until I saw it online and it was not too far so I thought I would try it out and I'm happy I did. This salon has a very welcoming atmosphere.The front desk was nice and very helpful as always. I like the layout of the salon and it is clean and organized. My stylist was Daniel and he was kind and knowledgeable while guiding me to a hairstyle I am happy with. Love the cut and Color he gave me .Very friendly and helpful staff. I have been going to De Beaute for my nails and eyebrows for the past 8 months or so but after an unfortunate hair experience at a very expensive salon, I decided to try their hair services as well. I had an appointment with Daniel and I can't say enough about how welcoming, attentive and honest he was -- it was a breath of fresh air. He told me what he could and couldn't do with my hair at the moment as the color and chemicals were still so recent from my previous bad hair appointment but he told me how we could go about starting to fix it. After discussing the options with me, Daniel gave me a 3/4 highlights, glaze, blow dry, etc. and the end result was amazing. I felt like myself again!
