I’ve been going to Rouge for over a year. I get SNS every time and my nails have never been longer, stronger, or healthier. I get compliments on them often. The owner is a doll. Gloria is an expert shaper. And the rest of the girls are great too. Make sure you make an appointment because they get busy. I will not go anywhere else for my nails - Rouge is my go-to.

The photos of this place are VERY DECEIVING. You can't believe everything that you see on the internet. Perfect example here.
I will be brief... There are no individual stations. The chairs are anything but comfortable to sit in. It is a small room stuffed with individuals waiting for service. Comparable to something you could visualize set up in the "BASEMENT OF SOMEONE'S HOME". Not a criticism... A FACT.
There are NO SIGNS WHATSOEVER of equipment to STERILIZE their tools of the trade. NONE.
The stations are NOT CLEAN nor are they REFRESHED between customers... (which I did not realize until after the fact).
The tools are NOT CLEAN...
The bottles of solution etc. at the station are with RUST and are DIRTY!!!
THE TECHNICIAN.... (This is the best...)
FILING "HER OWN NAILS" (in between) my manicure!!!
If that isn't bad enough... spent half of her time during service...
"TALK-TEXTING" on her cell phone! (You can't make this stuff up..)
THE END RESULT...
The "Gel Manicure" is supposed to "preserve" the nail right??
This technician filed the nails "on top" to the point where there are now "dents" in the middle of the nail where they have now been thinned out.
The polish (just one day later) is already showing "wear"! My nails are varying shapes.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. SPEND THE EXTRA $$ 5/10.
WELL WORTH IT.
THIS PLACE HAS A LOT OF NERVE REFERRING TO THEMSELVES AS A NAIL SALON. HONESTLY.

Maria did a beautiful job with my nails & feet. She was friendly & took her time. My total was pricey but I am very pleased with how everything turned out 💕👍🏾

They have such a large selection of SNS colors and they specialize in SNS. Maria does a great job and the receptionist is extremely hospitable. Highly recommend.

They do a good and decent SNS that lasts nearly 3 weeks before chip. However, unless owner is there the customer service is lacking. Not many salons in area do SNS so I only go if I can't make it to my usual SNS salon in NYC. Prefer Bloomfield location as they are friendlier and service level is consistent.I would recommend this place but will warn anyone about the spotty service and long wait time even with an appointment. It's not a place I'd recommend. I prefer and highly recommend Imperial Najl in Watchung but they don't do SNS. Rouge is just not professional and lacks decent customer service. Stuff do not know how to communicate and leave you sitting there. Unless you speak up and insist on service you will be sitting forever.

This is my first time coming here, and I will definitely be returning! I do not like to write reviews, but these ladies deserve all the recognition. I never really get my nails done, but I decided to treat myself, and with St. Paddy's day coming up, I thought this would be a perfect time! Maria is incredible! She took her time and was detail oriented. She even got me coffee and offered water or wine as well. The service was great and the results were even better!!! Love them! I have never left a nail place feeling this amazing. Her free hand design of a cloverleaf is amazing! I'm incredibly happy!

A few hiccups but all in all, still 5 stars. They didn't have any internet from the snow which means their phone lines weren't working so a little difficult to make an appointment. Then they couldn't process the payment & had to take my card info manually which I was very hesitant about. But the owner is very kind, and comforting. She sent a receipt a few hours later. The salon has modern decor, everything was really clean. I also liked that their instruments/nail supplies were being dipped in some sanitary solution before use which is a lot more comforting than seeing instruments being pulled out of a plastic container. The new SNS manicure is like a hybrid of gel & acrylic but it's apparently much healthier for the nail. Many people have raved about it. I will update my review if I feel otherwise. You can add tips (basically an extension to your real nail) if you want additional length. And it can still appear very natural. The work looked very natural, I've attached a picture. It's all my real nails, no tips included. It took about 45 min-1 hour. The process may seem a little tedious but I think once their internet comes back & they have entertainment, it won't seem so bad. Gladys did my nails, she was really nice and she asked me what I wanted as we were going along which was also a plus. The work wasn't perfect, but I pointed it out & she apologized & wasn't argumentative about it. I will definitely be returning.

Love this place! I first came here after seeing such great reviews on the SNS powder gel manicure and decided to give it a try. I am now hooked! Patricia and Maria have both done my nails and they have lasted for 2+ weeks! They both do a really great job and are very friendly. The salon is VERY clean and everything is nicely organized. The customer service here is excellent, too! Shout out to the owner, Katya. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied.I highly recommend this place!

I hadn't really love going to this nail salon because they were so professional and it was peaceful and she will come and greet you an ask if you would like something to drink, glasses wine or tea. I went there today and the service that I got I was so disappointed. I made an appointment for 2 o'clock when I got there all the ladies were on break @ the same time and nobody was there to attend to me right away. Mind you I had an appointment. Anyway got my pedicure done and I'm so unhappy because every time I've been there it's always been a great experience now it just went totally down the drain not a nail salon I finally found that I love and the service is horrible. Very disappointing!!!!

Love love love this place! I'm from New York and very particular and picky with nail salons. Every time I visit my family in Montclair I look forward to getting my nails done here. I get SNS powder gel manicure and pedicure. I had Patricia - she's highly recommended for my manicure. I am sure the other ladies are great as well. I can't trust other places to do it as well as they do. Katya the owner, beautiful and really genuine. She makes sure you are comfortable and are happy throughout your time there. She offers her customers a glass of wine! It was just such a treat! The place is very clean, sterile and relaxing. They have another shop in Bloomfield also.

By far the best service you'd get! Very affordable, clean, and welcoming. You won't regret coming here! ☺️

Very pretty, clean and modern. Top of the line materials. Everyone super nice. Owner Olga so sweet and did my pedi! Paraffin treatment and hot stone part of a regular pedi in the winter! Yay! So I've lived in Bloomfield for a year now and have tried lots of nail salons. Not quite finding a good one that I thought was worth it my friend suggested rouge. She stated they do SNS nails which I had no idea what it was but I figured I would check them out. IM SO GLAD I DID. They were so nice and welcoming. The place is nice a clean and they take care of their products. I also loved that they asked me if I would like any water or tea etc. That was a plus. They helped me f...ind the color that I wanted from their Facebook page and took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They also have a huge selection of colors to choose from which is great! My nail tech Myra was super nice and if I asked for something she did it! And these SNS nails are awesome. No harsh buffing and no chemicals. My nails looks amazing, super natural and not too thick. I also got a pedicure there and it was great. She took her time and didn't rush. They also use the hot stones which are my FAVORITE. She was also very personable which I love. I will most definitely be coming back here. :) See More

I hadn't really love going to this nail salon because they were so professional and it was peaceful and she will come and greet you an ask if you would like something to drink, glasses wine or tea. I went there today and the service that I got I was so disappointed. I get SNS powder gel manicure and pedicure. I had Patricia - she's highly recommended for my manicure. I am sure the other ladies are great as well. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. Olga was very hospitable to me. The nail technician answered all my questions without having an attitude or being annoyed. No one look at me like a alien because of my purple hair lol....I'll be back soon

By far the best service you'd get! Very affordable, clean, and welcoming. You won't regret coming here! ☺️

Very pretty, clean and modern. Top of the line materials. Everyone super nice. Owner Olga so sweet and did my pedi! Paraffin treatment and hot stone part of a regular pedi in the winter! Yay! Then the SNS! What?! Loved it! 161 colors! Took Doris Singleton there today. New regular nail salon for us! Thanks all!

So I've lived in Bloomfield for a year now and have tried lots of nail salons. Not quite finding a good one that I thought was worth it my friend suggested rouge. She stated they do SNS nails which I had no idea what it was but I figured I would check them out. IM SO GLAD I DID. They were so nice and welcoming. The place is nice a clean and they take care of their products. I also loved that they asked me if I would like any water or tea etc. That was a plus. They helped me f...ind the color that I wanted from their Facebook page and took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They also have a huge selection of colors to choose from which is great! My nail tech Myra was super nice and if I asked for something she did it! And these SNS nails are awesome. No harsh buffing and no chemicals. My nails looks amazing, super natural and not too thick. I also got a pedicure there and it was great. She took her time and didn't rush. They also use the hot stones which are my FAVORITE. She was also very personable which I love. I will most definitely be coming back here. :) See More

Very modern and clean!
