I am Very disappointed. The owner Tiffany is Extremely rude. The worse costumer service I have ever seen. I don’t understand how she is the manage treating people the way she does. My daughter and I are 2 of her original customers and she just snapped on us one day when we walked in with 5 extra people whom were all going to give her business. We had a Disney trip so the teen girls & adults wanted theme nails but Tiffany got frustrated and became very rood. What kills me is that they were so calm picking out there design for all 10 fingernails and was going to pay whatever charge. They need Etiquette classes. I will NEVER drop a dollar to this nasty establishment again. Read Less

I like to ensure that if I’m spending my money, as a consumer, that I am receiving top quality service. I went to the salon 2 times prior to actually allowing my teen daughter to get her nails done. There is always a terrible wait. That’s why the first two times we left. As I walk in with my 6 year old son he’s instructed to sit in the waiting area. Wait - what? Ok we make our way to the waiting area. We sit. He gets up and is looking at this weirdo house they have at the front desk and the woman walks up to tell him he can’t touch he must sit down. First off, you guys are not at the caliber of Luxe nails on Haddonfield rd or Luxe nails Girard Ave in Philly. Pump your breaks if you want to continue to see new customers. Pure ignorance ! #notkidfriendly #donotspendyourmoney #wasteoftime Read Less

I walked in, not one person addressed me despite looking directly at me. I tried to be patient and pick colors. I stood there and a white woman walked in behind me made eye contact, and was asked what service she needed and I was ignored despite being a few feet away. I especially want people who have children with SPECIAL NEEDS to read this review and understand that ALL PEOPLE SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME. I would have left a 0 Rating but I had to chose at least a 1 Star. Here at Millennium Nails, 20 N. Centre Street, Merchantville, NJ 08109, they are COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH PEOPLE. As long as they are getting their money, they don't care about PEOPLE. They have no respect for people if they are not their kind or like them. I have been there several times with my wife and I have seen first hand how they look at certain people because of how they dress, color of their skin, etc. I never made a big deal about it just thinking they are who they are. A family run business with "THEIR" family. This past Saturday 12-09-2017, my wife went there with our 23 year old son who has Down Syndrome. As soon as my wife paid for her nails, she was asked to NOT BRING HIM ANYMORE especially in the next few weeks because there will be a lot of customers there getting their nails done for Christmas etc. This was not the first time my wife has taken our son there with her, and he sits down, watches TV, doesn't touch anything nor does he bother anyone. For them to ask here not to bring him with her is DISCRIMINATION and APPALLING to say the least. My wife respectfully told the girls who were working there what to do with their business, gave them a little talk about respect and how they should treat everyone the same. And told them all they have no idea what our son has been through in his life, especially having to deal with people like them that DISCRIMINATE and treat people with special needs different. She told them all that our son has more Love in his heart, more compassion for other people, more respect for other people, and has never made anyone feel like they made her and our son feel that day. I am asking for EVERYONE to share this story and hopefully by not giving them business and them hearing and knowing why people stop going there, they will ALL look in the mirror and SEE THAT WE DON'T ALL LOOK THE SAME, BUT WE ARE ALL HUMAN AND HAVE FEELINGS. GIVE RESPECT AND SHOW RESPECT TO EVERYONE AND THIS WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE!!! My wife has VOWED to NEVER go there again and we will spread this story to any and everyone we can to try and make a change in their lives more than anything. MONEY IS NOT THE ONLY AND MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE. Having respect for other people, treating people the same as you would want to be treated, help and give a hand to anyone in need are all examples of what and how a real human being in touch with life and reality should live. I NEVER review places but had to for my experience today. I am an easy going person and am not picky about who does my nails but today was unacceptable. This nail place I've been going to for awhile and I've had decent experiences up to this point. Today made me never want to go back there again. It's always super busy in there and when you call to make an appt no one answers so you just have to show up. While my mani was going on, Diane was super rushing through it and ba...rely filed my nails. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and said in my head she'll still do a good job. I never examine my nails while they are doing them but when I left, I was SO PISSED. I had gel nail polish all over my cuticles and skin around my nail. There were dents and pieces of things in the nail polish and it just looked like crap. I have NEVER seen such a worse gel mani and will never go back there again. My advice is go in there when its dead and dont go to Diane. They rush through their customers and dont take the time they need. Again I never write reviews but to spend $33 and tip 20% and get this type of service is just unreal. See More Read Less

I've been going here for a year getting my gel manicures done until tonight I had the worse experience with one of their nail technicians. After a 30 minute wait I was reprimanded in front of the entire salon for bringing two nail color pallets to the station after I asked ken if it was ok. He said no problem he was going to finish up his last client. I was trying to have multiple colors done and the colors I wanted were on different color pallets. The female tech who reprimanded me in front of everyone was busy doing a pedicure and just saw me didn't understand what I wanted and got really nasty. When I tried to explain she didn't let up so I said I was going to leave. She didn't care and said "good thank you bye". I'm really sad because I loved getting my gel manicures there but the parking and the long waits were always a problem but tonight went to far. Nothing I was doing deserved her being that nasty especially when I asked permission first and got the ok. I guess my relationship with Millennium is done. Read Less

I discovered this place in 2004 and thought I hit the jackpot. The prices and quality made the 20 minute drive worth it. All of my friends complimented how unique my tips  were. It was my secret prom destination. Through the years,I watched a decline.  I remember  when the salon was redone, bubble  gum pink was put  on the wall, fake butterflies and year round Christmas lights. It was awful. Then they started showcasing their designs on hand models. It's like a set for a horror show.Since then, they've occupied every inch of wall space with nail polish and pictures. It is overwhelming.Over the last 6 months to a year, the prices keep going up and up. I used to love my free small designs on everynail. But nail art now ranges 5 to 9 dollars a nail! Also, I showed them a picture of a simple nail design that I wanted but they said they couldn't do it. Quality is still there overall, but esthetics,  price and friendliness has really gone down in the 10 years I've been a customer. I will continue  to go here until I find my new little gem. Read Less

I strongly do not recommend going to this salon. If you read the reviews, you will understand. I have posted this because of how badly the owner treated me and I went to the salon just after it opened. I love Merchantville and it was nicely decorated. I am a friendly person and I would think that if you want customers, you would be friendly and make the customer feel appreciated.  Unfortunately , I made every attempt to be engaging to Tiffany the owner and even complimented on her children and how pretty her daughter was. It's just really disrespectful when you are a customer and the owner is talking on the phone or talking in her language to the nail tech next to her which happens to be her sister,. I guess they just don't know etiquette.  I am Greek and fluent in Greek and English but I would never start talking in Greek When I am with my family and friends , we talk English, it's impolite and the way I was raised. As far as the nails she did a good job in the beginning , but when she was working on my nails with the drill and talking on the phone I ended up getting cut and it really hurt, no apology and I do not think she should be talking and using a drill around my nail bed but , I did get my nails done plus pain. ,, imagine like a paper cut which are so small but hurt like heck. Then, It seemed like every time I came in , just go sit in that chair. No hello or nice to see you. Well, I had to cancel an appt , it was an emergency and I had my husband call and it was that I was sick with strep throat and I would have thought she would understand but apparently not. She was very nasty when I finally came back to get my nails done. This is not how a professional owner treats a good customer . The last straw was I was expecting my baby boy and even writing this is causing me to break down cause I lost my little boy at 16 weeks and I could not make the nail appt. I could not talk about it and when I saw Tiffany , she didn't care about why I did not show up or try to understand.  I said I had emergency. At this pont, she starts yelling at me about my costing her money and my not showing up and cancelling.. I only cancelled  2 times in the 4.5 yrs I spent my hard earned money to people who do not care about their customers.  For the record , for,the customers who went there in the beginning , they did not follow, health dept guidelines regarding using the same files and buffers on dozens of customers . They only later, probably after the health dept did an inspection did they offer a file and buffer in a plastic bag and then later they gave you a case. If they didn't they would be fined or could lose their license. ,But of course it was $1.00 worth your health and I wonder why I was getting constant infections ,all the years they used the same files and buffers on me and so many customers . The very thought is sickening and so illegal. It's  called being frugal, just like the nail powder, that I just found out is not the expensive nail powder for acrylic and gel nails, it's a dental powder, which is cheaper, is that how you take care of customers by being unethical. I just discovered this as a cosmetologist who has recently been going to this salon discovered.  Customers would have no idea that they are having a dental grade powder being put on their nails, just for, anyone who is thinking about going by this place. Do yourself a favor and keep on going and find a salon that values and treats customers like gold. Good luck!. I could not tell her that I was grieving  and in pain,as she is verbally abusing me . I just cried because I could not believe someone could be so cruel to a customer and a mother who lost her unborn son. She might be good at doing nails but she is horrible at treating people . All she seems to care about is $$$$, which is pretty sad. Read Less

Upon entrance, my immediate reaction is that this place is insanely overwhelming to say the least. There are nail polish and gel colors that cover every square inch of the walls, where there aren't signs about charges and rules. There are also about 200 hand models with all kinds of designs, each with the price listed on them. And they aren't cheap. They are big about getting their money for sure. The staff was nice. I went in for a French full set and a pedicure. Ken did my nails and immediately he sat down and he told me how much everything was going to cost which was $46. It was nice to know in advance but with all the signs with pricing everywhere I got the vibe that they were most concerned about the money and not the service. He did a good job on my acrylics. Did airbrush French rather than a white tip which is what I prefer but I guess I'll see how it holds. Ken not Gam were very engaging while doing my nails and didn't speak more for than four or five words during service which isn't the end of the world. He gave me a card saying when I needed to come back for a refill, which is in three weeks. Overall, I left happy with how my nails looked but turned off by how obsessed with the dollar they are. Also there are cameras EVERYWHERE, I mean everywhere which made me feel like I was being watched. I also wasn't a fan of how many rules there are, about children and where to sit etc. I will probably go back because they did a good job but only for that reason.Update. Two weeks later and my full set is fully in tact. Very impressed because I tend to be very tough on my nails. This is the first time they've ever lasted this long. A slight bit of discoloration but other than that they're perfect Read Less

I have been here many times for eyebrow waxes because they were so cheap. My husband and I decided to go to TN for vacay, and I wanted to have nice nails for my trip. I already had press on nail decals that I was going to put on my nails, so all I wanted was acrylic nails applied without polish. When I got home the nail decals would not stick to the acrylic so I just painted them myself. When you sit down they make you purchase a file and buffer for 1 dollar that you keep anytime you come in. They write on the back of the card when you recieved your services, initial it, and tell you when to come back in. Apparently, if you dont come back in before 2 weeks, than they will charge you for a full set, regardless how much regrowth you have. I found this out the hard way. I come in today, sign my name and put refill as the services I want to recieve. This woman comes over with a lot of attitude and practically starts interrogating me. She asks me where I had my nails done last (no hi how are you, anything like that) I said here. She gives me a shocked look and asks to see my nails. I show her my nails and she says, no you did not have those done here, we cannot charge you a refill price. I'm like yes, I did get my nails done here, but I painted my nails myself. She then says that I could not have had my nails done there because one of my nails was lifting. (what that has to do with anything, I have no idea....being a 4 yr cosmetology student, I'll tell you that nails will lift regardless) Anyway, she bassically tells me that she doesnt believe me and that she will have to talk to her sister. I'm standing there with thier buffer/file package and thier business card with thier signature on it. Her sister comes up and says, oh yeah, I remember you. You will need to pay for a full set today though because 14 days was up yesterday. (mind you, I just got back from vacation, got my nails done on 9/11 and it is now 9/26.....I was 1 day past 14. I tried to explain that to them and also explain that I just got back from vacation as well..... and they basically start screaming at me in front of the entire salon. I mean full on eye rolls and attitude, not to mention, after I talked to the first woman and was waiting for the sister to be asked if I was liar or not.....she was talking to all her coworkers in thier language and looking over at me. I have panic Disorder, I started to have a panic attack and needed to go into the restroom to compose myself. I was going to leave right then and there, but I wanted my nails cut down to be appropriate for work tomorrow. After getting verbally abused the second time about the refill/fullset....I just walked out. First of all....how are you going to dictate what service I get done on my nails? And let me tell you this as well....I know that it doesnt cost them anymore money in product whether my nails are 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks grown out. I have gotten my nails done for years and also went to school for cosmetology. The only product they use for a refill is acrylic powder and liquid and they use dental acrylic instead of acrylic made for nails specifically, because it is cheaper. All in all I walked out, I'm not paying someone money to harass, embarass, and verbally abuse me. It really sucks for them because I was actually going to refer a couple of my friends there by taking them there for a girls pamper date. I also was planning on becoming a regular customer. (which is why I brought back my file and buffer kit)....I thought they did good work, but there are other nail salons in the area, who do exceptional work and also relax and pamper the customer (which is 70% of the service) I should have known they were going to be nail nazis when I walk in and there are signs all over saying things like....you mess up nail after payment, 2 dollar charge to fix nail...nail polish on natural nail do not last long....Gel nails $$ extra....so on and so forth. It was just a very shocking experience, and I will never ever be going back and will make sure to warn any of my friends and family about this place. It sucks cause they are a Christian salon and I really wanted to support that. Read Less

Today I was in the neighborhood so decided to stop by to what I thought was the best nail salon. Boy do times change. I went in for a refill and designs. I remembered designs used to be free, not anymore which is understandable... but the salon wanted to charge me $7 EACH for regular designs, which meant $70 total for all fingers. That would make my simple refill total at $110 at a cash only nail salon. No thank you! Besides extreme pricing the staff was very rushed and unfriendly, will not try again. Read Less

It was my first (AND LAST) time here and upon entering, it was really stuffy...and everything from the walls to all the nail designs were really overwhelming. I went there because my best friend lives nearby and I decided to have a girls day with his daughter. We decided on getting mani/pedi each. As soon as we sat down, they made us buy a buffer/file kit for $1 each. Then they tried to make me buy flip flops for $1 each which I had to decline more than once. They tried to tell me that our nails would take two hours to dry...which if anyone knows on a little girl's fingers and toes takes a matter of minutes. A massage was nonexistent on both legs and hands. Everything was rushed and to top that off, I paid $30 for my friend's daughter who might I add is 7 years old. The woman who did her nails tried to make it sound like she was doing me a favor by charging me $30 flat for her because they would normally charge $5 additional for nail designs. ON A LITTLE GIRL. All she did was put poka dots on her big toes. I've been to many nail salons (MANY) and this was by far my worst experience.  Some nail salons even do nail polishing for little girls for free! I obviously wasn't looking for any freebies but $30 for a little child is obnoxious. The service was far from great and honestly, overpriced. Also, it's 2014, get a damn credit card machine already. I go to Millennium because for the past 10 years, it's the only place I've ever gotten my nails done and I feel some strange Merchantville loyalty.I do enjoy their gel manicures. However, I have noticed that when picking out a design, the execution is usually a bit wonky. I once picked a geometric pattern and it turned out looking like a child's drawing of a piano key. During summer, I got a pineapple design, and it looked rushed and uneven. I also notice that they seem sort of behind on newer designs or techniques, which is a disadvantage. The hand models are very unorganized and overwhelming, which leads me to think that they should invest in a new space- or at least some better shelving. But all in all, for a simple manicure, they do a beautiful job. If they can overcome their organizational issues and focus more on delivering the things (read: designs) they advertise, they'll be in a good place. Read Less

I used to LOVE this place until recently. I think they do a great job when it comes to manicures and full sets. However, I had my first pedicure here a week or two ago and it was the worst pedicure I have ever had. The water was not even hot.. barely warm! I was not given any special treatment whatsoever. It was the quickest pedicure I have ever had. The girl barely massaged my feet and legs.. maybe for 5 seconds tops. Definitely not relaxing. Also, they people there aren't as friendly anymore. Lastly, they make you pay $1 for a nail kit and $1 for flip flops.. annoying. Read Less

1 star is 1 too many for this dirty little dump! I accompanied my friend a few months ago to this nail salon, which is actually located in the adorable town I live in. She was getting a manicure and I disgruntingly got my eyebrows done. The woman who did my brows did a great job, surprisingly, so I planned on returning sometime. Big mistake!Yesterday I stopped there on my way home from work. I went in and signed the book, then had a seat in the back by the waxing area. I waited. And waited. And waited. Then the same woman who had waxed me before walked a girl she had given a manicure to back and waxed her eyebrows. I asked if I was next and she rudely said, "No! You wait 20 more minutes."What? I have to wait for you to complete another nail job for a 3 minute wax? She told me if I didn't like her answer then I could try to find somewhere else. Umm yes, that's exactly what I'll do. She said she was the owner- Tiffany- couldn't I read her sloppily written name, in Sharpie, on her smock? She was so rude, disrespectful and loud that I told her I was going to write a nice review on her. She didn't seem to care. Seriously, this place is not worth it. I would never have let them touch my nails/feet, especially after watching a male worker wash his hands before playing with his eyes next to me in the mirror for 5 minutes. He did not rewash his hands before starting a manicure. Skeeeevy!!!There's much cleaner, prettier nail salons nearby... without an attitude! Wish this dump was not there to tarnish our cute little Victorian town. Hopefully it won't be around too much longer if I can help it. : ) Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews for Millenium.. First of all, you can't beat the prices! Especially for such quality work. And to those that complain about spending $1 for the nail kit with a file and buffer, are you crazy?! It's SANITARY! Totally worth $1 to me. And to anyone who complains about bad customer service.. Those are the people that probably give the girls at Millenium a hard time. I have witnessed such disrespect from customers for no warranted reason. People are just rude and they don't tolerate that. Why should they?? With that being said, I have been going to Millenium nails for over 10years now. I love everyone there and they do a great job!! Read Less

I was a loyal customer to this location from 2007-2010ish, I since then relocated so haven't been around.
