Been coming here for years.  Today was the worse pedicure I received.   I do the gel pedi or spa pedi.  It was not good at all.  The gel was not as moist/wet it should be.  The massage part wasn't good.  Was going to pay for extra reflexology but once I saw what I was getting I knew wouldn't be worth it.  Going to look for new place. This is the worst nail salon ever! Don't spend your time , energy or money at this salon. The customer service is horrible . I made an appointment for a specific type of manicure and when I arrived at the facility I was told I made the wrong type of appointment and I couldn't be accommodated until later. This is because only one employee is able to provide that service. I very clearly explain the type of appointment I needed so putting the blame on me is ridiculous. This isn't the first miscommunication that has happened at this establishment. It seems the the language barrier becomes impossible to overcome when discussing problem they have caused. Worst experience ever! I called at 6 to see what time they closed just so I could get my eyebrows done(which takes 15 mins max!) they told me to “come now” which I did. Once I got there by 6:30pm, they rushed me into the back room.... I gave the person specific instructions as to what I needed done only for him to TELL me he had done the complete opposite of what I asked once he was done. I was an super nice walking in(because I knew they were closing IN A HALF HOUR) and shouldn’t have been as nice as I walked out... I will never go back to get anything done at this place. Always have reservations about coming here but my boyfriend lives in town and it is sometimes convenient. Today was my worst experience. The place already skeeved me-they do not sanitize tools or open the fresh pack of file and buffer. They reuse the same on customers and there's a poster on the wall that says "we only use disposable files and buffers" yes they may be disposable but they never dispose OF THEM. Gross. Salon is also outdated, ugly and dirty, there is no element of relaxation or design. Waited half an hour soaking my gels off while there were three available technicians (my theory is they only let the Latina women do pedicures because they don't want to "dirty work") so sketchy and unfair and seriously dumb business tactic. WORST PART: woman next to me had a full on argument with the staff because she asked them to treat her fungus with solution and they tried to charge her ten bucks to apply a coat of this solution. She proceeded to argue that she has never had a fungus in her life until she started going here. I literally wanted to crawl out of my skin because I know it is the nastiest salon and the NERVE to charge ten dollars for one coat of fungus medicine go to cvs and buy a bottle this is highway robbery. Hot towel felt crusty and there was no oil rubbed on my cuticles and barely any lotion applied. This will be my last time at Kimi nails. I will stick to Fei Fei in glen rock for a relaxing, luxurious experience. Read Less

Dark, out dated, and maybe unsanitary. I'm no stranger to getting waxed. There's always an element of displeasure. However the woman who waxed me was so rough, it was painful. I've never had tears falling from my eyes. She Then proceeded to joke about it with her coworkers afterward. The area that you get waxed was a little gross. I had a great experience yesterday(Saturday) , came in as a walk in around 1:30 for a pedi and gel mani was able to sit right down and start the pedicure. I wouldn't say the pedicure was the absolute best I've had - kinda skimpy on the relaxation part of a pedicure in my opinion. But the painting itself was clean and quick.I had the second station from the left for my gel mani with the younger woman. She was great! I was skeptical when I asked for my glitter gradient but I judged way too soon because it's a pretty flawless job. I would definitely come back for days I need a quick job done and I'm too busy to do it myself! Read Less

Pedicures are the worst. And overall everything is over priced. I asked to have my acrylics removed and they were insisting me to get the full works that cost me $100. I kept telling them no thank you... All I asked was for the tip removal on my nails and just put regular acrylic on my own nails that were already long... They charged me $68 just for that. Plus they charged me $48 for a gel pedicure. To start they didn't know what a gel pedi existed. They did the worst job. I decided to travel an hour away from my house to go to the lady that use to do my nails. With no discounts and her having to do my acrylics all over again; cause they did a disguising job; plus add in the French gel on my nails and a another add on gel pedi; she charged me all together $60; same thing was done at Kimi's and they charged me $116 plus tip; a on a job that was gross. This was one of the worst pedicures I have had. I was in the water for a nano second. She used an emery board to file and buff my nails. I had blue polish when I arrived, and I still have blue on my nails. I was very unhappy! Never will I go back. Read Less

Absolutely horrible customer service. Nail tech did not even speak to me during gel mani.  Nail color was very thin and it didn't coat well.  Had to demand a third coat of polish.  Nail lengths are uneven. Amateurs!!! Read Less

Wish I could give zero stars. The worst customer service I've ever experienced (over and over again). Very low quality products - nail polish is old and thin so doesn't look good and chips easily. They don't honor appointments and give inaccurate wait times. I went to get my lip waxed this morning (a 3-5 minute procedure...) and was told I had to wait a few minutes while she pointed to the only person in the salon giving a pedicure. As I sat and waited, 4 of them (including the woman who runs the place) sat there on their cell phones, while just one person was giving a manicure. It would have taken less time to "train" or teach someone how to do a lip wax than the amount of time I waited. Disrespectful and negligent and have now lost my business for good. Read Less

This place is absolutely terrible. I live nearby and have gone here way too many times for how bad it is. It used to be better but now they are all about the rush job. Today I got an 20 minute pedicure. The place was empty and yet I got 20 minutes of the disgruntled girls time with basically no pumice scrub at all and a leg massage that consisted of smacking my legs.  Who actually likes that leg smacking thing anyway? I have seen them tell people it's a 10 minute wait, put foil on their gelled fingernails to soak and then 45 minutes later they actually take the client. It's ridiculous and expensive. There are way too many nail places in the area to get such bad services. I will not be back. Read Less

Sometimes Kimi is great, sometimes not so great. Sometimes you get a massage, most times not. No specials for children. I really don't like when employees are obviously giggling and talking about customers in their foreign language. makes everyone very uncomfortable and this does happen here. Read Less
