First time and my last time. Did a gel pedicure and it was bubbly the first time, so they scraped it off and tried doing it again. The same thing happened a second time! I cared more the second time because the scraping is painful and not healthy for the nails to have it again and again. They called in a new tech to do it and she was better the third time but it still is just an okay job. They charged me the full amount and didn't apologize at all. Read Less

I have to say for this nail salon to look so nice and professional they are the complete opposite. Their prices are way too high and they overcharge you for every little thing. I took my bestfriend here who speaks fluently several languages and she translated and told me they were speaking about me. Over all this place does decent nail work and are very rough and rude. I have been a regular patron at this establishment for about a year. Every two weeks I go for my regular gel- fill, and for many months I was satisfied- they got the job done and their prices were comparable to others in the area. Well, about 3 months ago one of the nail "technicians" sliced my finger with the buffing tool and it hurt so badly I physically recoiled in pain. No apology, she just grabbed my hand and continued on. When she applied the gel, it was so thick and gloopy that it literally burned my nail beds when curing under the UV light. It was terrible. Since then, I have refused service from this particular woman, and have received service from a couple of other women at the salon. The past few times I have been in, I have received service by a woman named Sue who is adequate at best. This past time however was the last straw. Once again, the buffing tool not only cut my finger open, but took a CHUNK OF SKIN off of my finger. She then applied some blue liquid to it which burned and stung for the next 2 hours. She dropped the nail file multiple times to the floor and then went to continue filing my nails without replacing it..... Ummm, no. My actual gel manicure was terribly applied with visible streaks in every nail. Despite the fact that she removed a chunk from my finger, they charged me the full price of $55 and pressured me into making an appointment for my fill-in in two weeks. Got a pedicure today. It was glorious. Included exfoliating scrub, lotion, hot towel, and hot rock message. Along with all the usual pedicure procedures. Also a small shoulder rub at the drying station. I will definitely be back. What a lovely experience. I was treated well. I was had three different technicians switching out within 15 minutes of doing my nails. This was strange considering I had asked how long a manicure (vs polish change) would take, and made my decision based on the amount of time allotted. I get my nails done weekly (usually in new york), and my polish usually will begin to chip 5 days out after an adequate polish job. My first nail chipped the next morning (not even 12 hours later), without any type of household labor, etc. By end of the weekend (I had my nails done Friday night), three were chipped and the others were receding. I came here early in the day, so I was the first customer. I find that whenever I do anything super early on a weekday my experience is almost always positive. Leo is a perfect example. I went in, no wait, and was done in about 30 minutes. Service was very friendly. The place is spacious, clean and the pedicure chair was very comfortable. This was a thorough pedicure. So no short cuts. I paid $25. I'm not sure if that's pricey or standard for the area. Either way I was okay with the price. Oh, and I guess all pedicures come with a shoulder/neck massage. Went to get gel mani today. I was greeted warmly and that gave me some sort of confidence that this is not going to be a nightmare. I had a 5 week old gel on my nails which everyone needed to see and I was informed that it was "the wrong polish". Well, OK. Lasted 5 weeks so it probably wasn't that "wrong". Upon taking it off, there was some still left, which I had to point out numerous times... Most of it got removed, but not all. Nails weren't filed properly, I had to finish filing them when I got home because they were all scratchy. The new gel color I got is probably not the best quality because it's all streaky. I had the best pedicure today!  Miriam gives an amazing foot massage, she really took her time. The space is clean, large and open.  The neck massage while my manicure was drying was such a nice way to end the service.  I can't remember the last time I felt relaxed at one of these places.  I didn't have to hear a lot of chatter and didn't feel rushed.  At $35 for a Manicure Pedicure I will definitely come back. When I want a manicure, pedicure or massage, this is where I go. The place is large and very clean. The place never smells of chemicals like a lot of other places. I like their massaging pedicure chairs too. I bring my daughter from time to time and they always treat her nicely. I usually get chair massages but the times I've had the massage in the private room were great. The guy who does them really knows what he's doing (unlike the guy at Maplewood Nail across the street).They also have a loyalty program which keeps me going back- just remember to bring your card.
