Great nail salon! Maria is the best- she does fun designs, great gels, and chrome nails! I get 3 weeks out of a gel manicure from here with NO CHIPS! They have a huge variety of colors and different designs for your nails-- highly recommend! Read Less

Where do I begin?! This place is perfection. They have the most beautiful colors & designs. The salon is extremely clean and the vibe is warm and inviting. You get all of this for unbeatable prices, nonetheless in Madison. I love how they can come up with an amazing design. The pedi is also amazing - they do that cool purple stuff on your heels that make them softer and it's basically a spa pedi for soooo much cheaper. All of it is fantastic... Bright, clean, comfortable, accommodating, reasonable prices (& get a card and get a discount for every 10 visits) plus tons of colors in both polish and gels and wonderful artistic ability to do special nail designs. How could they be anything but 5 stars? I have been there monthly for a year and found them nothing but friendly and professional. The only thing even a tiny bit not positive is that is is sometimes tough to find parking in downtown Madison- but with such a convenient location? And you certainly can't fault Polished for THAT. What a horrible experience! After having an appointment scheduled, they had me sit in a chair for 25 minutes waiting for my pedicure to start. The water turned cold I was waiting so long. Finally when they started working, it was like they were in a hurry and were so rough with my cuticles I had to keep pulling my feet back. My toes were killing me after they screwed around down there. To make matters worse, I broke out into a horrible rash thanks to whatever cream they rubbed on my legs. My friend who went with me, just sent me a pic of her legs and her skin is actually peeling off (no she did not have any type of sunburn)! The water tub felt slimy like they hadn't cleaned it in ages and they didn't sterilize any of the tools they used during the pedicure. Awful experience. My toes still hurt from them being so rough and it's seven hours later. Never ever going back and not recommending this place to anyone. Worst pedicure I've ever had. Read Less

I was extremely pleased with the gel manicure today. The place is small and personal and a family business. The manicurist made conversation with me which is something you often don't get in other bigger salons. The prices are reasonable and it didn't take a tremendously long time like in other salons. The idea of having the drier built into the manicurist station is sleek and convent. I will be returning here and I hope to make this my main salon. Thank you again! Read Less
