I got my nails done yesterday and they were okay. I wasn't completely satisfied but it was whatever. One of my nails broke the same night so this morning I called to make sure they were open so that i could come in and have the nail fixed. The man on the phone told me to come in. I get to the salon and tell Tammy sitting in the front that Im here to fix a nail. She told me that 3 nail techs didn't come in to work today and that it would be an hour wait. I had no problem with... that I would just come back in about an hour. I came back and immediately the nail tech across from Tammy said something to Tammy in their language and they both looked at me. I could tell she said something about me but I ignored them and continues sitting. After about 40 minutes of sitting Tammy decided to get up and come tell me that the 2 nail techs that were free "refuse", her exact words, to fix my nail and the person that originally did my nails would be in tomorrow. I have been a loyal customer for years now so I felt compelled to leave a review. Go see my ladies TINA, CARMEN, TAMMY, AND LEE if you need a mani/ pedi.. Prices are good and theydo quality work that last! My go to nail salon as long as I live in this area. Read Less

I went to this place regardless of the bad reviews, since this place is 1 block away from where I live and convenient. BUT I dislike this place , i should've stayed away. Don't get me wrong the lady who did my nails seemed very nice and polite BUT didn't do a good job taking cuticles off, that is why i go get my nails done to have them clean. NOPE will not go back. i live too far to continue coming here just to do my nails so i very rarely come but I recommend going with Tammy for your nails ; shes pretty great and always does a great job ! Do not go if they're busy! Worse 15 min pedicure of my life. She only filed my nails when I like them cut. I hate long toe nails. For $20 it's a rip off. I'll continue to go to city nails in elmora Ave for $15 and they at least last 45- to an hour on your nails. So disappointed with magestic. Read Less

Just got a gel manicure. They made me soak my entire hand in acetone only to remove the gel polish with the electric file and make my nails so thin I could feel them breaking and hot. I got white gel polish with a couple of cold lines and they charge me an extra $10. The pedicure left all of my skin under my feet and made my toe bleed. I would never go there again. These people rush you through so fast that they do sloppy work. My two experiences were pleasantly met by nice manicurists who bull crapped with a whole lot of nosey conversation of getting into my business to cover up their lack of experience. I got home, my nails were not cut even the polish not evenly spread and lumpy. A French manicure that did nothing for my skin color and the white strips of polish came off immediately. Yeah it looked nice in the store under those dim lights but leaving left me wanting my money back. Three days later I reentered the salon only to request the white tips be polished back on and the alleged owner or whoever this oriental was stated they don't guarantee their work. No guarantee? This is some sad and sorry customer service. I don't have fifty dollars to just throw away to salons who don't repair their mistakes. What amount of time would this have taken to please me? They take your money don't care whether you like the outcome or not knowing they have inexperienced manicurists slopping nail polish on you. Unacceptable. Read Less

Yes a lot of these girls don't even care how your nails is done they just keep doing the same old thing and charging you more money then when you start to argue with them they act like they don't understand you what you are talking about, Several of them know ..... I saw the girl who sits in the front as soon you walk in she is straight ahead, I saw her a couple of times, the third time I had to get in my nails needed to get done she acts like if you do not wait for her, she end's up being very rude and say's well the guy can keep doing your nails and gave me attitude anyway she never my nails the way I liked them. So She said " to me well just go to go that girl stay with that guy what can I tell you if you don't like the way I do nails. than let someone else do them. I mean really ? Seriously these people need their attitude readjusted , and also they do not clean underneath the nail where they do get dirty are they going to charge me for filing that part of my nail too? I need a new nail place does any know where I can go? I use to go to fashion nails they are very good but my nail tech left to give birth I really Miss MY T" about now never had to go and get my nails done for at least 3 weeks here they barely hold past a week. Horrible service. Gave my daughter two different rates for the services she received and both Asian employees and Hispanic employees were rude and definitely talking about her. One Hispanic woman called her stupid in Spanish. She maybe blonde but she is half pr herself and who doesn't know basic Spanish at this point.Read Less

My stylist is Carmen, and she's the best. I been going to here since they was on Caldwell Place in Elizabeth years ago, haven't had a complaint yet. I use to wear solid colors, now Carmen have me wearing any color and my nails are always nice and on point. Love this place very nice and clean, and the atmosphere is always pleasant.Good job Ty!!! Very nice work, and thorough. But over priced and when they make a mistake on the price, and don't except the debit card for 5$ sending you to the ATM in he back of the store an paying the ATM fee is ridiculous especially when I just spent 72$. And I'm not local I will continue to look for good quality work at a better price. Such a shame Read Less
