Not happy with the way my daughter was treated she went in to get acriclic nails taken off and has come back her nails look really bad cuts along the sides and she said the woman seemed to be doing it on perpous making the fine cut her finger and told her not to get them on again (excuse my spelling ) Read Less

Great little shop conveniently located on route 1; very airy, cozy, and welcoming. I desperately needed a haircut for my damaged ends and picked this place on a Groupon whim because it was so affordable. I wasn’t disappointed. They fit me in the same day only an hour after I called to make the appointment, and were very kind and accommodating upon my arrival. Stacey was charming and we had wonderful conversation while she took care of me. I loved that she was really adamant that I make the executive calls on how much to cut off and what style, stressing that it was my hair, so my choice (my hair is very long and I’m very touchy about even the slightest trim, so that’s saying a lot!). Stacey is knowledgeable about the products she is using; she beliefs that our hair will be healthier if we use proper products - so thats why she does offer them. I cannot believe the previous posts! My experience at the Beauty Bar was nothing but a wonderful experience! First let me begin with how beautiful the salon is! From the decor to the ambiance. It is elegant, calm, and CLEAN! All staff members are nothing but pleasant! All members, including myself, are nicely greeted upon entrance. Clients are even asked if they would like some coffee, tea, or water. What a nice gesture! All stylists are talented! While I may have not personally cut my hair with Stacey, I have observed her with her clients and they all appear to adore her! She is a master stylist with years of experience and it shows in her work! I can't wait for my next hair cut with her. She has washed my hair for me and even offered me a courtesy hair mask! I have never felt pressured into any service at this salon. Stylists have mentioned their promotions, as well as sales on their beauty supplies, but who doesn't want to hear about a good sale!? Got a Groupon for haircut, style and partial highlights. Came to the salon and was serviced by Stacey who was aggressively pushing me into buying additional services. When I declined them, Stacey got upset, her attitude changed towards me and she gave me horrible treatment. When she was doing my highlights she splashed dye hair all over me, pressed foil squares very hard against my face, slapped my face several times with my hair, and then pulled them. She span my chair I was sitting in instead of turning it slowly and when I asked her not to pull my hair that hard she said that if I didn't like it she could call her manager who will continue doing my hair. Then she sat at the reception desk and gave me dirty looks. Stacey is ill spirited and unprofessional individual who doesn't care how her services will make you feel unless she doesn't make extra couple bucks on you. I left a review on their web site and they deleted it the very same day. If you do not want to have make me feel like crap day I strongly do not recommend going to this place. I go here to have my eyebrows threaded. I prefer going here than anywhere, they take their time always lovely and friendly. Always a excellent job. Today I had a full body massage........wow!! What can I say it was absolutely amazing. Where on earth the lovely young lady gets her strength from I'll never know! A extremely professional excellent Thai massage!! It's a must for anyone!
