This place is ridiculous and super over priced for the service they give you. I went in and got a full set w uv gel and literally every single nail looks different. I got coffin shape and the girl who did my Nails clearly didn't know how to do it AT All. I went home thinking I was over reacting and that I would get over it but it still bothered me so I go back to get them fix and they stick me w the same girl who originally did my nails as if to let her fix her own mistakes and yea complete waste of my time I am now stuck for two weeks with ten weird looking coffin shape nails I wish I never went here and I have no idea if another person at a different salon would even be able to fix what's been done to my nails... I've gone here before for massages and they were decent. Yesterday I went for a basic pedicure and gel manicure and what typically costs approximately 65.00 costs me 85.00. I didn't get anything fancy. Super plain French gel manicure. I didn't get the 'dead skin removing' service-though I should have. I felt they profiled me because I was well dressed from work. Should have looked at the other reviews on yelp before I came here. Just wanted a simple pedicure and I couldn't get that. The service was classic rude nail salons where they don't answer simple questions like "do you have colored acrylic?" I tried to relax and enjoy it but the female that did grunted at me the whole time when my foot was alternating in and out the bowl. I am currently going to school in this area and desperately needed an acrylic fill so I sought out a new nail place. I wanted a weekday in the evening and the one spot I knew would have the later hours guaranteed was the mall. Nervous after reading some reviews, I went anyway and am very pleased I did so. Richen, 95% sure that was his name, the man who was my nail technician did probably one of the manicures I've ever had. Personality and manners is something that is VERY hard to find at nail places nowadays and I think a lot of us could agree with that and that's what made my experience even better. I went in for a full acrylic set with gel polish. I was celebrating my anniversary that weekend. The girl I had was super friendly and sweet, I loved her personality, she got me talking and not a lot of people can get me to say more than two sentences to them normally. After she finished, they looked wonderful, I loved them, I tipped over 20%. The reason for my 3 star rating is because the very next day one of the acrylics started to lift off my nail and I had to use super glue to glue it back down because I was going to NYC and had no time to go and request a fix. Went in last nite at 8:30 to get my nails done. There was a woman getting a deluxe pedicure done. Her man shows up and plops next to her after giving her a lollipop that he got from the front desk. Then his 3 teenage daughters show up two who totally ruined my nerves and my salon experience. They were doing cartwheels yelling hollering for the entire time while muscle man dad just sat there. When I tell you that those two girls about 15 years old were totally out of control!!!! And after the manager told them several times to behave while the parents just sat there. STOP AND DON'T GO IN THERE!!!! I would give them no star if it allows me. This place is dirty and unsanitized no one should be paying for them to do nails. Someone should call the health inspector on them. You should see their tools and furnitures. I originally contacted them for pricing on SNS nails and pedicure because I was traveling for business in the area yesterday. I totally changed my mind on pedicure after I saw how dirty they were. First, they told me over the phone is $35 for SNS nails and the lady who worked on my nails wanted to charge me $40 until I confronted them. Second, I asked her if she is going to cut my cuticles and she replied "yes". I started to see her applying gel on my nail without cutting my cuticles. I asked her again and she is trying to tell me it isn't good to cut your cuticles too much. I replied her that I didn't like some nail salon only push your cuticles back instead of cutting it. I don't cut my cuticle often because SNS last me two to three weeks. Third, she wasn't going to put the base powder on my nails until I asked her. Her explanation was no need to put base powder on after the first SNS application. I knew it wasn't right since my nail salon where I live always put SNS base powder on my nails every time for almost a year. This is the moment I knew something is definitely not right with this place. She finally applied some white powder on me with no SNS label on it. Fourth, I noticed all of the gels she was applying on me has no SNS labels. Fifth, she asked me to put my nails in the UV lights to dry and that's when I got very concern. SNS nails no need to use UV lights or any drying time. It will be completely done in couple second after the top coat applied. I never have to use UV lights again and knowing UV lights are harmful for skin. That's why I prefer SNS nails because it is much healthier than UV gel nails. I've done my nails for over 20 years and I got UV gels for more than 5 years. My friend has a nail salon where I live and that's why I changed to SNS nails. I knew a lot about nails because of my friend. Today my nails on my right hands 4 out of 5 nails have bumps and not smooth and 2 out of 5 nails on my left hand are the same. This is because they used UV gels with SNS powders on my nails. It needs to be dry under the UV lights. The lady started to yell at me and getting pretty loud when I confronted her. I have to ask her again and again not to rise her voice at me. At the end I walked out of the salon and I didn't wash my hands with no hand lotion. I've never been to a nail salon with this poor service and so dirty in my life. I attached the photo of my nails after I left and the gels she applied on my with the SNS powders. Definitely could use some help padding their appointments, but they all work really hard.  I hope people appreciate how difficult and honestly hazardous the nail salon environment is.  These technicians are great, and got the price, they can't be beat.  Try to schedule during slower hours and you will not only enjoy your experience more, but it will help them not feel rushed. This is by far the worst nail salon I've been to in a while. Not only did it take hours for my nail guy to do my simple manicure and pedicure, it turned out horrible. My toes look worse than how they looked when I walked in (which weren't bad at all) and my nails look like my five year old did them. The main reason for the 1 star is because of the awful professionalism they showed here. The nail technicians were talking about other customers out loud as well as taking breaks from the services they were providing to text on their phones ! How unprofessional!! Walked in and was immediately helped. 15 mins later the manager came over and confirmed what I was getting done. The nail tech decided to ask me if I knew it was $44 for the service and I laughed and said yes I'm aware if I couldn't afford it .. I wouldn't be sitting here ... it was extremely uncomfortable!! After a long day of work, I decided I would treat myself to a nice mani/pedi. This place is ok if you only have few options. The two ladies who did my nails appeared to be new and spoke little English. That was ok but the one performing my mani barely filed my nails and was sloppy with the gel application which I had to coach her on. I did like the fact they cover each bowl in plastic before your service but that's the only special treatment you will receive without an up charge. Read Less

Worst nail salon in the state of New Jersey. The woman who helped me did an awful job. She made me bleed and kept on working even when I said ow. She did a sloppy job, kept walking away while working on my nails. My nails looked jagged and the paint job looked blotchy. I told her to redo my one nail and she made someone else do it, he took the time but he still had no clue what he was doing. I don't even want to go back to get them fixed... their acetone burns your fingernails, and they have no clue about the square and coffin look. RUDE. ROTTEN. RACIST. 3 words that should never be used to describe a girls day at the spa. A friend and I had a reservation for pedicures today. When we arrived the nail tech spent 5+ minutes trying to sell us upgraded services. Never, not by phone or in person, did anyone tell us that there was NO HOT WATER!!! The revelation came when our toes hit the frigid pool. Gasp! My friend asks for manager. Manager does not come. I politely ask "Do you have a kettle? Maybe you could add some hot water to make it better." Our attendants never acknowledged that they were addressing our concerns but a short time later the manager comes from the back with a huge kettle of hot water! Yes! Finally I'll get the feeling back in my feet that have gone numb from this cold water! But ohhhh noooo... Manager decides the hot water should be given to the women across from us (who came after us and just so happened to be ... white). As she poured the hot water for the first woman, my friend says "Excuse me, can we have some?" Manager brushes it off and gives hot water to the next white lady. There was water left. Instead of giving it to us, she gives MORE to the first white lady! Manager leaves. We never get hot water. To add insult to injury, the white patron had previously laughed about the cold water and said she didn't mind it. At the end, we asked for a $5 concession for the unaddressed service. Manager rudely and belligerently refuses and makes a scene in front of the other customers. We paid our bill as to not be embarrassed any further but we were HORRIFIED at the blatant prejudice and substandard service. Sometimes unexpected things happen (like loss of hot water) but please disclose to your patrons BEFORE they begin the service. Humiliating experience. No hot water during pedicure.  My toes were numbing.  I requested boiled water to make the water in the basin warmer.  Noone acknowledged my request but obviously heard me because the manager eventually came out with boiled water... but it was given to 2 white women who came after my friend and I! Unacceptable! We never got any hot water despite asking several times. At the end, the manager became rude and made a scene in front of other patrons. Totally embarrassing. Never ever ever again. I am absolutely shocked at the low rating on here. Vivian is the most amazing nail technician I have ever had. In fact, from one visit, I have now officially changed my salon to Infinity and plan on getting biweekly gel manicures.I called on Christmas Eve at 12 pm. Christy's Nails in Trenton, understandably, did not have an appointment until 2:30 pm. Well, I needed to be seen within a half an hour. I had plenty of baking to do for dinner that night at my in-laws.A friendly gentleman who answered the phone assured me it would be no problem to take me and that I could come in at 12:30 pm. Once I arrived, I was promptly greeted and introduced to Vivian. She was warm and friendly and asked me what I was getting done. I advised I just wanted a manicure, with some red and gold to match with my Christmas outfit. She asked why I didn't prefer a gel manicure? I have a huge family and 35 people were coming over my parents the next day and I would be doing plenty of cooking, cleaning and baking. She said with a regular manicure, it would be chipped and damaged with all of that activity. I told her I was afraid of gel manicures because the one time I got one it burned very badly and they chipped and damaged my nails scraping it off.She assured me that it wouldn't burn at all and with the lamps she uses, I wouldn't feel a thing. I was still wary about the removal process and she explained that if I came back in two weeks, she would soak my nails for a good ten minutes and then the gel would come off easily. She advised the salon I visited didn't want to wait the ten minutes which is why they proceeded to hack half of my nails off. I was convinced so she did the gel manicure.She gave me this amazingly glittery, bling blinging gold color for the ring finger on both hands. I was complimented on my nails by both my in-laws on Christmas Eve and my family on Christmas Day. Vivian was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and went out of her way to find the gold polish for me, even though the salon was extremely packed.Please don't go by the negative reviews on here. Came in here for pedicures with mom because it was convenient and we were on a time constraint. The woman at the desk talked us into getting a "mango pedicure" for $40/each. The standard pedicure was $25/each, and the only addition to this mango pedicure was a salt scrub, hot towel therapy, and a mango scented lotion treatment. In retrospect, we were better off just getting the standard. Pros: - Manicurist doing my moms nails was very friendly! - Comfortable massage chairs.- Did a good job on my toes and came out with a satisfying pedicure Cons: - When I sat down to dry my toes, I saw someone being instructed to sit in the chair I was in - I don't recall them cleaning it out in between- YIKES! - Sat me down under the dryer and forgot to turn on the dryer...The real break it for this review - When I sat down to dry my toes, the same friendly woman that convinced us to get the mango pedicures was doing a manicure on a young woman sitting next to me. She asked the woman why she didn't speak English, and the woman responded saying "I don't know" and giggled shyly. She then asked the woman's son how old he was and if he was born in America. The boy said yes and he was 13 years old. The woman loudly exclaimed - "You've been here for 13 years and you haven't learned English?!" to the mom. She asked the son why he hasn't taught the mom to speak English. Then, she paused her manicure to check out someone at the register.... She came back and picked up right where she left off talking down to the woman. She "playfully" called the woman "lazy" for not to speak the language fluently. Although the woman laughed it off, I found this extremely condescending and unprofessional. If anyone is paying for services, they do not deserve to be talked down to for any reason what-so-ever. I sincerely regret not saying something to defend the woman, but at the time I did not find it appropriate. Thinking about it now, I wish I had. I firmly believe in this quote: "Never make fun of someone who speaks broken English. It means they know another language." I hope that this review makes you choose a place that doesn't belittle anyone or have biases that affect their interactions.
