I just got my nails done today at Expert Nails in Cocoa.The only one I let do them is Kenny Because he does such an amazing job on my nails even people around town have asked me where I get my nail done I would recommend anyone to go to Expert Nails in Cocoa off 524 in Publix Plaza also they do amazing pedicures also I would give Expert Nails 10 stars if it would let me. Usually pretty good disregarding the wait time but today I wanted a cut and fill in but they tried to convince me to come in another time and just hastily cut the nails leaving the edges jagged and when I went to ask if the lady could make the edges softer she acted as if it were a huge inconvenience. She said to come in later for the fill in and when I said that I was going away for a month, and that I couldn't come in later she just sighed. I found that super disrespectful since I'm the one paying them but whatever...this was my go to nail salon for the past 2 years but I guess I'll take my money elsewhere. Read Less

WHAT A JOKE!!! I am so disappointed with coming here and total waste of my time. 1 star because they were nice. Other than that.. my nails look like my 4 year old daughter did them. The lady had to re-do 2x and still looked terrible. My gel was on my cuticles, it was bumpy and messy. 2x in a row.. wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life there and never again. There was a 2nd manicurist that tried to fix it the 3rd time.. even she shaked her head and apologized for the terrible job the 1st lady did 2x in a row. I'm so mad right now cause now I have to go home and polish my own nails over the gels they did just to cover it up... I hope they read this and re-train their staff! What a joke Read Less

Not bad Andy did a nice job . We're I go at home my salon said they were told by the state they have to put a plastic wrap around the pedicure bowl. I asked he came out with one & used it but at register she told me two dollars. But I said something g and she didn't charge . Is it a Florida law ? Read Less

I walked in on a Friday with a recommendation. I saw the first employee, asked if she was the person I was recommended to see, she said yes like I was a bill collector. Then said she was all booked up & never looked at me again. I didn't know if she was booked for that night or the rest of time. Nor did anyone else come to question or welcome, or even scowl. I mumbled i would wait for another technician, and took a seat. As i looked around, the other 2 women waiting had cobwebs on em and a smirky, 'I've been waiting a long time, good luck to you' look. I started looking at my phone for another place, and to tell my friend I don't think it's gonna happen for me here, and then i got a dusty whiff of whatever chemicals they were using on the folks already in progress. It felt toxic. And the space was already tight. I dipped out. My friend's nails look really nice, but they must know her as a regular and treat her special. Newbies get the bizniss. #shrug Read Less

Loved everything about my experience here! First, the staff is professional, very welcoming and fun. Secondly, the salon itself is super cute and CLEAN which I loved. Last but not least, my nails look amazing! I got a full set of coffin gel nails bling and all. I showed Takia an IG pick for inspiration and she exceeded my expectations! I live right by Danforth Plaza and this is just an easy and accessible salon for me. I've had countless of mani pedi in this salon and they're okay in that sense. This salon is always packed since it is a very accessible area so I suggest going here on weekdays early morning or mid afternoon. It's hit and miss when it comes to acrylic nail sets with this establishment. I would know because I've gotten so many new sets and refills from them. It really all depends on the tech. They are generally good and if done right, your nails actually lasts 4 weeks without lifting or any damage. I had times where only 1.5 weeks later my acrylics would start to lift. One thing that annoys me is they rarely get the shape right when getting a new set. I usually come out of this salon unsatisfied on how they shape my nails and would usually go home to file and shape them myself. However, despite of this, I still go back to this salon because  it's accessible to me, has nice staff, it's clean and fairly decent when it comes to pricing. I really like getting my refills here. They usually don't mess anything up if you have nicely shaped nails already. For a new full set with gel polish, it's $35. Extra charges may apply of you want a simple nail art design or new nail trends. They recently for the cat eye gel and the holographic and chrome powders. Read Less

This place is terrible.  I've only been there once, and they left such a bad impression that I will never ever go back.  Here is a breakdown of my experience: I walked in with my cousin who had been there once before and a small, chubby Asian woman rushed toward us asking what we were getting done.  My cousin was getting a filling and I was getting a gel manicure.  She sat us immediately because the place was empty and told us to pick colors.  I had wanted a sparkly gold color to match my New Years Eve dress, but they didn't have one in gel colors, so I chose a light, sparkly pink color instead.  The chubby woman began doing my nails while talking on her cell phone and at the same time, the woman who had done my cousin's nails the week before did my cousin's nails again.  The woman doing my nails used a nail clipper normally used on acrylic nails on my natural, not so long, and brittle nails, which I thought was odd, but let it go since it didn't seem to be doing any damage.  Then she proceeded to use the nail filing machine on top of my natural nail which is a complete "no no" for me!  I made it clear that I was uncomfortable with that but she continued saying that it would make my manicure last longer.  Then she began applying the gel nail polish without prepping my nails at all.  I asked her if she needed to push back my cuticle or anything, but she said no.  Then I realized it was because she had shaved my entire cuticle off with that filing machine.  Before applying the actual gel color, a customer of hers walked in and she quickly got up and attended to them.  She began bickering with her coworkers in their language and finally another woman came to finish my nails.  She apologized and explained that the other woman had an appointment.  She finished my nails and although I wasn't entirely pleased because I didn't get exactly what I had initially intended, the manicure looked fine.  I also didn't like that they barely filed my nails and left them really pointy and square, but I left that because I figured it would be a slight change to what I'm used to.  My cousin finished soon after.  We payed, we tipped them, and we left.  An hour later I needed to go back because my thumb nail had already chipped!  When I walked in and explained what had happened they all started bickering with one another.  When I asked what they were saying they simply smiled and laughed.  Then the woman who had finished my nails shaved the edge of my thumb nail and of my middle finger for what reason I do not know.  She then applied more gel to the entire nail making the polish darker on only those nails.  I had asked her if that would happen and she said no.  Then when she finished she told me that they were a little darker, and it was as if I was supposed to be okay with it.  Despite the fact that I clearly showed that I was upset, they sent me on my way.  Those two nails are now thinner on the ends and darker than the rest of my nails.  Other people might not care about their nails too much, but I do.  I am a perfectionist, and if I pay to get my nails done, I want them done right!
