Went to this spot in a pinch for time because I wouldn’t be able to make it to my usual nail salon this week due to working late. I’ve lived across the street for 3 years now, and only decided to give the shop another try because I heard they changed owners, and had decent google reviews. I asked for a full gel set when I walked in, and had to soak the gel off my natural nails first. I wound up walking out, because after I repeatedly asked the tech not to use the high speed belt sander tool, he tried to use it again to remove my gel. I explained to him that tool makes my nails weak, and he replied if I was getting a full set, he’d have to use it on my natural nails. I’ve been to a lot of salons before, and I told him they’ve used the block buffer instead when I’ve made that request. I walked out, because I’m not going to ruin my natural nails again for a DECENT mani, and he got an attitude. Definitely never going back again. This salon is immaculate and had so many employees I didn't have to wait. Got a manicure and pedicure before my wedding. They both lasted the entire wedding and honeymoon. The only regret I had was getting a gel manicure. I had never gotten one, and didn't realize how hard it was to remove. But that's my fault for not asking more questions. Read Less

This review is strictly for the treatment I received today from the woman who works there, I believe her name is Rosa. I have been coming to this nail salon forever now, every 2 weeks, and I always get the best service when it come to David. He's funny nice and very patient. I did my nails 2 days ago and came back today to get a pedicure. The woman who was doing my toes knows me very well and knows how often I visit the salon. One of the perks is that you get a $10 off voucher when you do your nails 8 times. They have to sign and date the card at each visit. So I used my $10 dollars 2 days ago when I got my nails done. I didn't get a new card cuz I was coming back to do my feet and David said he would give it me then. So I come in today, Rosa does my pedicure, she says nothing. After I'm done I pay and tip her, she still says nothing. She grabs another card so she can sign and date so it would go towards my visits. As she hands me the card she goes next time you don't sign the card yourself. I'm like what card? She goes I know you signed the card for the $10 dollars off. Mind you there are about 4 customers in the store and she is clearly trying to let them in on the conversation by her tone of voice. So I tell her why would I sign the card myself. I come here every 2 weeks. You think I care about $10 off. I spend $240 in the 8 times I have to come just to get the  $10 voucher. So I go to David and I'm like did you sign my card every time or did I sign. He's like no I signed it every time. He tells her that he always signs my card yet she is still talking about how she knows I signed the card. I am freakin so pissed I throw the card on the counter and tell her to keep the card because this is the last time I'm coming back. I am so mad I tipped that evil witch. Why wait till the end to tell me something? This is deff the last time I go there and and I'm upset because I truly do like David. I guess that's how money hungry people treat their customers. I have gone twice to the Happy Nail Salon David is wonderful when it comes to making sure that your nails are the way you want them. David takes his time and gives you the best service ever. I will continue going to him. David keep up the good work !!!!!Read Less

they are really nice  and do a good job on your nails. i was skeptical because its a hole in the wall nail place but i saw that they have the autoclave to sanitize their implements which is really important to me. i will def be going back especially because its literally a 30second walk from my apt. Love how David took his time working on me. He spent almost 2 hours removing my tips, then giving me a mani & pedi. Also worth mentioning is the incredible massage he gives during the pedicure :)  The aesthetics of the business are not the fanciest but I was there to get my nails done , not to appreciate the decor ;) Read Less
