Went in for a pedicure and was not pleased at all. The workers were yelling and carrying on and 2 customers complained about different issues in the hour I was there. The girl who did my pedi was very rushed and rough. She filed my skin multiple times and dug under my nails with a pointy metal implement which caused pain. I let her know she was hurting me and she continued on anyway - unreal. I could not wait to get out of the chair. I also felt it was not very clean. I will never go back there again. Went to them for a longtime I personality likedthe lady that did my nails and she seemed to do them right so I don't know if they use crappy products but my nails use to always crack and break (LcN) I never had time to go fix them. The one time I did they did nothing and charged me full price , rip off. I was real pissed since I never went back on all the occasions my nails cracked. Be aware. Not sure what's the deal w this place. It could use a face lift. Doesn't have a posh feel. Yet there's a woman who works the counter who acts like you just rang the bell for an exclusive spa on rodeo drive. The attitude is unnecessary either way but at least have an environment that somewhat validates it. If not for her 3-4 stars for the rest of the experience here. They do a good job and are friendly. I enjoy the service but I must speak on an experience that I had a month ago that was disturbing. The young lady attending to my nails cut me very deeply and did not understand me when I was explaining to her that I was bleeding. She began explaining something about the design on my nails. Finally, when she understood what I said she began speaking in a different language to lady next to her and laughing. In addition, she wanted to continue attending to my cut finger as if it was not bleeding. I asked for some sort of band aid and she got a cotton, dipped it in an anesthetic liquid and dabbed the wound. This was a frustrating experience because she never apologized nor did appropriately address the situation. It did not help that there was a major communication barrier and the situation was exacerbated when she began speaking loudly in a different language to the lady next to her, who kept looking at me. Every pedi i have gotten there has been great, i now found Ellie who could be my best friend. She talked to me about my tattoos and showed me hers does a great job even did the 47 dollar pedi and her massage on my feet ( im a massage therapist) was amazing!! Highly suggest her ! Read Less

Worst Pedicure I have ever gotten. The women didn't even want to cut my toenails, I asked her twice and she just proceeded to file them. I paid $27.00 just to get my nails polished, a waste of my money. I have to go to another salon to get my nails redone. I booked a much deserved mani pedi today - been coming to this salon for 3 years - the man doing my nails was so rude that I considered walking out SEVERAL times.  Kept pulling on my fingers as if to say I wasn't close enough to him, or if they weren't exactly in the direction that made his life easier.  Slapped my toes if they weren't in the right direction.  Slapped my hands as well.  Slapped sea salt scrub on my hands and waved me off to wash my hands.  Kept on sighing and mumbling as if he had somewhere else he needed to be.  Half painted nails and NO cuticle removal.  Worst salon service ever.  Guess what?  You get no tip!  I work too damn hard for my money and the whole purpose of getting your nails done is to have a relaxing experience.   You suck! This salon makes me so happy! Zach is my guy who I see religiously every other week. I love and adore him he knows his stuff when it comes to nails, of course he is so fun too! He is patient with me since I am extremely hard on my nails (he has to replace at least 1 every 2 weeks because I pick them a lot). My nails are always to perfection and up on the latest trend, I am complemented a few times a week on how beautiful they look. I cannot recommend this place enough. Excellent customer service and quality of work. They do take their time though, so it's not the place to go when you need to get in and get out. I personally love taking two hours to get a mani/pedi. It's very clean, they put plastic wrap in the pedicure tub for each person. They set timers for the massage to ensure you get the full 10 minutes. The spa pedicure is really effective in removing rough dead skin. They have a huge selection of colors and all the newest OPI collections. I have been there for my last three mani/pedis and have completely replaced my old place with them. We have been here every 2 weeks for nails, they are very artistic, and do great work. This Last time, the tip given to the woman "H" was not acceptable by her standards, she pushed the tip back and made a face like, your kidding right. I guess a 10$ tip was not enough for her. I  felt humiliated, so I went to the atm right there and got 20$ more out and gave it to her, I will never step foot in there again. How dare you shame a customer into a bigger tip. Read Less

Came here for a Gel Manicure with my sister and we both left very happy with our polishes! Both manicurists took their time and did a meticulous job. The color selection for the gel polishes is quite large, however they didn't have very many (if any) of the CND gel polish brand, which I prefer above OPI & Essie. Let me say I have been getting my nails done for about 20 years! I love this salon from the minute I walk in to either Danielle or Trisha who greet me with a happy face and make it a point to make me feel comfortable. My nail tech is truly the best so fun and extremely amazing with unique nail designs, I don't even have to say what I want they just know me on a personal level... makes me feel so relaxed and happy! Anyone who has ever ever done my pedicure takes the time to set up and give me the best pedicure ever! Hot stones and great massages! I have been going to this place since it opened. Coming into the area the place was extremely appealing (clean, modern, fun, etc.), but as the business grew and client volume increased the services became significantly worse. Over the past 6 or so months I have seen a ton of new girls working. The new girls rush, give crappy massages and it's obvious that they just want you in and out. About 3 months ago I stopped coming here and started driving 15 minutes to go to a great place. Not to mention, their prices are a little steep. And you're really just paying extra because hey they have cool lights and nice looking chairs but that's about it. Read Less

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! Yes, the salon is gorgeous; but there are no amount of aesthetics can possibly make up for the horrific customer service here! My "two week manicure" didn't make it even one week without chipping and peeling DRASTICALLY. Things happen though, so I figured no big deal... I'll take my 9 year old niece for a birthday mani/pedi and get this fixed while I'm there. Rather than apologizing for the condition of my nails, I was told "well, your two weeks is almost up." Ummm, no... it's been TEN DAYS and this started week one! I even took photos, which are time stamped, to prove as much! Even after seeing the photo evidence, they didn't offer an apology or make any effort to rectify the situation. I was ready to walk out at that point, but I wanted to get my niece's nails done for her birthday, so I said "just soak these off and I'll get a regular mani, and she'll have a mani/pedi." To which they responded, "well you're going to have to wait a half hour." My eyes immediately shifted to the EMPTY nail bar -- not a SINGLE person sitting there, literally -- and said, forget it. I am leaving and will never be back. If you value good customer service, I would not bother going here! It's also worth mentioning my initial appointment took two hours! I guess they open the doors and answer phones at EXACTLY the time stated, not one  second earlier. I was s walk in, and I had a great experience. I was greeted at the door, and taken for my spa service (eyebrow wax) right away. I can't say the lady was talkative, she didn't say a single word. She was courteous and did a great job. This is the cleanest salon in the area. You definitely get what you pay for. I've been coming here since the grand opening and have yet to be let down. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about at all. I'm not a "regular" and I don't go to the same person every time, but when my mom and I go for pedicures a few times a year, we always come here. I've been to this salon several times and the only thing that seems worth the money there is Trey's work, he does nails. I'm still trying to figure out why they think it's ok to charge so much more than other local salons; do they think just because they're in Holmdel that their address justifies charging more? If it was a stellar place that would be fine, but it's not, it's run of the mill. Also, there was a woman running the front desk who was talking [yelling] at someone on her cell phone and completely ignored me when I asked a question. I don't think she meant to ignore me but she was so wrapped up in her phone call and she reaked of cigarette smoke, it was gross. My nails came out excellent (Trey) but the woman who did my pedicure never put a top coat over my color and the paint starting chipping the next day. Don't waste you time or money on this place... Its basically your run of the mill factory nail (sweatshop)"salon"... A row of 10 spa chairs with a bunch of ladies doing your nails with perpetual miserable frowns on their faces. ( i like to call them "stink faces")Horrible customer service.. rushed, non-personal and my "manicurist" had terrible breath.... Mediocre quality of work... I can literally do a better job on my own nails, I was so frustrated me and my friend had to pay $97.00 for two mani/pedi's... It would have been fair if they had done a good service but we felt ripped off.... And to think we had to wait 20 min thinking it was worth it... While sitting there I observed a bunch of crap laying on the floor behind the counter (lunch bags, purses, coats)... Nail polish misplaced all over, An employee bringing her little boy out to walk in front of the salon because he was napping in the back... It was unbelievable! so much for the "relaxing" spa day... it was a freakin circus...An overall MEDIOCRE expensive experience... NOT RETURNING EVER!  We'll just go back to our old hangout, It might not look as fancy as this one but its a million times better.... Read Less
