Sadly, this was the worst mani pedi I ever got. Year around I do my nails myself about 50% of the time and go to a salon the rest. This was my first visit to dream nails. Pedi: She made my toe nails completely square and off center too which looks terrible and left sharp corners that make me fear for my bedsheets tonight. It is just the worst look ever, my toes look crippled. She painted several of my toe nails over the cuticle skin, and on a couple left space for incomplete coverage. I got the callus treatment too just for a smoothness and even with the lotion still on, my heels feel rough. I can only imagine what they'll be like when I wash off the lotion. I will definitely need to buff them. Mani: I ended up stoping her and leaving without color. My cuticles were either not cut, cut only on one side of the nail or left skin sticking out. Ridiculous! I only noticed when she started painting my nails, putting completely uneven coat, and on top of that left 1/8" around my nail unpainted. This stood out on a nude color. Imagine a dark color... I pointed it out, she told me the color is too thick, so I accomodatingly picked another and she did the exact same thing. My 10yr old niece could do better. At that point I stopped her and left with base coat only. Helen, who was not the one doing my nails and is very nice, offered me a $5  towards the next time and a promise she is good and will do my nails herself (begs the question btw why I'm I paying the same for someone that is not good or why they would even hire and keep her?). I had paid, as is typical before the manicure color started, $45+$10 tip. So $55 for a horrendous pedicure and no manicure. The only reason I didn't go off and demand my money back is that I was with my sister who is getting married tomorrow and didn't want to make a scene and stress her additionally.Do yourself a favor, save your precious time and cash, and go elsewhere. Very disappointed in this place! Was hoping for the best since it is so close to my home. Ended up with a very poor pedicure! My cuticles were barely pushed back and jagged. After asking for the woman to do my big toes again the result was still poor. The picture speaks for itself. I would think twice about visiting this location. Read Less

Very clean, great selection of polishes and usually not a long wait. They also have a great $30 Mani/pedi weekday deal. However, one of the manicurists cut a couple of my cuticles too close and they bled. Read Less

Tried for the first time today and I liked this place. It's very small but clean. I like that they put some plastic protection for the pedicure bowl and change each time. Staffs/owners are nice. Will be back. Read Less

I love this place!!! Just went yesterday for the first time. I had a pedicure and a UV gel fill manicure. They were so friendly and do a fantastic job! The woman who did my nails was by far the sloppiest I have ever experienced. She got polish all over my fingers (off the nail) when she cleaned it off she wiped polish off the nails in random spots that I continued to notice when I got home. On top of that she also cut my finger with cuticle cutters while doing my nails and I began to bleed.... Read Less

The people that work there are rude. They kept telling me to wait 5 minutes for a pedicure and after 30 minutes told me there were appointments and they couldn't see me. Total waste of time. I have no idea about their actual service since the past 3 times I've tried to go (even with appointments) they were unable to see me for one reason or another. I'm done with trying. Read Less

Best & most unique manicure around town! Ashley and her mom are the sweetest and they are rocking the nail art game. Both of them are extremely talented and have a great vision. You can also have a simple mani/pedi if that is more up your alley. I have friends who are willing to travel to the JC/Hoboken area from NYC after seeing my nails.Read Less

I had high hopes for this place as it was close to home however the pedicure was painful as was the manicure. I had a gel manicure and had a lot of nail polish on the skin around my nails. When I asked for it to be cleaned up the lady started cutting my skin! I have never had that! When I told her that she was pulling my skin off she tried to explain to me that it was the colour she was pulling off - I had to show her that it was actually the top layer of my skin she was pulling off. At other places I have a)never had a manicure where there has been so much colour on the tips of my fingers and usually they just wipe it off with remover - not pull the skin off. Pedicure was nice with the hot stone and warm towel - but the pain when she was trying to pull the skin off was not worth it. I have walked by here so many times, but finally made my way in today. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! A manicure and pedicure for $30 is a good deal, but when you take into consideration the quality of everything; it was a total steal! Helen did my nails and she was very friendly and personable. I love this place!  Everyone is very efficient and does a great job. Prices are very reasonable. The best part is that it's really small and I've never seen never more than 1 or 2 other patrons here, even on a sat!  This is my favorite part. I come here to relax and get pampered. I LOVE this salon! I would even go to the extent in saying it is the best in Hoboken!Maria and her staff are so friendly and put time and care into each and every client they have. Their pedicures come with a leg and foot sea salt scrub, hot stone massage, and wax on your heels treatment, finished by being fully moisturized. This along with a beautiful manicure as well -- all for only $25! (Plus a good tip, since they all work so well!) I've also only get my waxings done here and have always been happy with the results.Living in the area and having tried numerous salons, I could not recommend this salon more! I came to Dream Nails & Spa with a LivingSocial deal (Gel manicure and green tea pedicure) and it was really good.  To date, I'd still consider them the nail salon that gave me the best French gel manicure (and I'm a regular with gel manicures, particularly with the Shellac brand).  They were really nice, even after I asked for a last-minute switch to do French as I saw the pink color I had chosen was very light.  They did a good foot-wrap thing with green tea that made my ankles worthy of all envy - they were so smooth!  My only complaint was the long wait I endured.  I made an appointment for 6:30 PM and wasn't taken to a chair to get started with my pedicure until at least 7:10 PM-ish (~40 minutes wait).  By the time they were finished with me (both gel mani and pedi), it was 8:30 PM and that really soaked up the rest of my weeknight.  They're also located a little bit further away ... even though their address says Hoboken, it is at least a 10-minute walk away from the main street where the restaurants, bars and action are (Washington Street).  These wouldn't deter me from coming back though - $25 for a gel manicure is still an amazing deal and I've seen what a good job they can do. Hands down (er, feet down?) best pedicure I've ever gotten. I got the LivingSocial deal, so keep in mind this was a "Green Tea Pedicure" off the spa menu - normally $40 or $50 I think. Anyway, it was relaxing and exceptional, everything smelled amazing and I left feeling great.The gel mani was fantastic and ended with a bonus salt-scrub which is a nice touch.
