Came to Dream Nails & Spa based on a recommendation from a friend - her gel manicure looked fantastic. I booked two pedicure appointments a few days in advance and when my mom and I showed up about 15 minutes early, they were ready to take us. It was a little surprisingly slow for a Saturday afternoon, but I guess it was really cold out, so no one wanted to leave their houses. They have a huge selection of colors on the wall from Essie, OPI and other brands, and even mark the new colors for those who are looking. We sat down in the pedicure chairs, and they put in plastic liners. I had never actually seen a place use them before, but I know they are much more hygienic. We got the regular pedicures, which involved the standard steps, and at a pretty standard price of $25, as well. The only thing that took away from the relaxing "spa" experience was my nail tech, Helen, talking to her husband?/business partner? the whole time in Korean and she kept getting distracted. Rosa ended up finishing my pedicure and she was lovely and did a great job. My mom and I started at the same time, but my pedicure finished quite a bit after hers. We still enjoyed the treatment and the final result was great, so my mom decided to get a 10-minute chair massage and I got a regular manicure. I decided to use two colors, which was no extra charge (bonus!). Again, I had Helen who was chatting away the whole time though. Despite not having the most spa-like experience, the treatment was great, the prices are right, and the final results looked excellent. Best place I've tried in the Hoboken-Jersey City area thus far.
