I rarely write reviews about a negative experience, I typically write only good ones, but this nail salon got me so frustrated to where I actually walked out. I asked for a pedicure and they sat me where I stayed for about a half hour... then TWO women who were older and white, seemed like they’d have more money and were dressed nicely were started before me. I assumed the first maybe had an appointment, but the second did not... little do they know that I tip 40% with all pedicures and I just sat there embarassed and feeling stupid. I was dressed very casually so I felt like they sized me up and just let me sit there while they served customers more deserving of speedy service. I was questionable as it was when i sat down because the place is also filthy and the staff were talking about me being annoyed in Spanish... little do they know that i understand it. Never coming back here again!

I've been going here just for eyebrow and lip wax for about a year now. I find them reasonable, professional and friendly. My mother has been going here for manicures and loves them. (Helen especially) I decided to get a pedicure today with Elvera (spelling?) and she's so nice and took good care of me. After I left, I put my shoes on too soon and messed up my pedicure. I was still in the shopping area, so I walked back in to see if I could get it fixed. I was so embarrassed a...nd felt badly. Fortunately, Elvera was available to do it. She was gracious and understanding of my carelessness. I was going to pay her extra for her time. When I was ready to leave, she wasn't there. So I asked the owner to give her the money ...the owner refused to take my money and I told her what happened. She still refused. Now, that's customer service. I am very pleased with this treatment. I will definitely go back for pedicures, too. Thank you, Leewood Nails. See More

I have been coming to leewood for years. I moved to Toms River and still I travel to go to this amazing salon! So friendly, so talented and so reasonable! I will never go anywhere else !

SO annoyed I came here, don't know why I ever try new nail places, they were very nice but the girl doing my gel manicure was clearly not licensed I even asked her where she went to school her answer ...
SO annoyed I came here, don't know why I ever try new nail places, they were very nice but the girl doing my gel manicure was clearly not licensed I even asked her where she went to school her answer was (I started in California). So you never finished? I needed a powder mend for one broken nail and the owner had to cone over to do that, the tech didn't know how. I wouldn't have minded all this if less than seven hours later my nail wasn't already chipped (not the one the owner did)!!!! WTH gel manis usually last me two weeks and I swear I did nothing today but sit in the car and go for a massage, its not like I was doing dishes I haven't even showered or had my nails in water yet!!! So I spent $33 to go on vacation with a chipped nail when I went in the place with unchipped nails that were done two weeks ago..thanks Leeward, I won't be back!!

My husband and I took my daughter here for a mani & pedi (we also got pedis) for her birthday. They took us right away. They were great with our daughter and did an awesome job. Definitely recommend ...

I have been coming to this business for years with my sister and my mom and I have never had a problem but this one associate Jenny shouldn't work there at all. She doesn't do her job, gives you attitude, throws things at you, cuts your fingers, doesn't listen to oy and doesn't do what she's asked. NEVER GO TO HER. Literally anyone else in there is perfection but she's a B***h to customers.

Went for a gel pedicure. Left me soaking in chair for almost an hour. Didn't seem to know how to do gel pedi. Took almost 2 1/2 hours total. Then was charged $40. No returning.

I rarely write reviews about a negative experience, I typically write only good ones, but this nail salon got me so frustrated to where I actually walked out. I asked for a pedicure and they sat me where I stayed for about a half hour... then TWO women who were older and white, seemed like they’d have more money and were dressed nicely were started before me. I assumed the first maybe had an appointment, but the second did not... little do they know that I tip 40% with all pedicures and I just sat there embarassed and feeling stupid. I was dressed very casually so I felt like they sized me up and just let me sit there while they served customers more deserving of speedy service. I was questionable as it was when i sat down because the place is also filthy and the staff were talking about me being annoyed in Spanish... little do they know that i understand it. Never coming back here again!

(Helen especially) I decided to get a pedicure today with Elvera (spelling?) and she's so nice and took good care of me. After I left, I put my shoes on too soon and messed up my pedicure. SO annoyed I came here, don't know why I ever try new nail places, they were very nice but the girl doing my gel manicure was clearly not licensed I even asked her where she went to school her answer was (I started in California).
