First off let me say that I don't mind spending my coins on nail work as long as the prices are fair for both myself & the salon. I also love trying different salons. With that being said this nail place is bad & way overpriced. I was recommended to come here by a friend & I regret it. The nail tech I got was so very lifeless & mechanical. She cut my finger & didn't apologize. Then when I asked her to draw a flower on my nail she said we only do simple flowers. I know doing a design takes skill but I wasn't asking her to draw an original Picasso on my nail or anything crazy like that. They are very unreasonably priced as well. I have gone to many nail salons in the past & I have gotten gel colors, 3D designs, & rhinestones all for $50 give or take a few bucks. But they wanted to charge almost $80 for gel & a few rhinestones while I was watching them unpack the rhinestones that they got in the mail from Amazon. Not to mention that the design I wanted didn't require all 10 nails to be painted (only 4).The nail tech also said she could only use rhinestones on my nails if I got gel! However the friend that recommended this place had rhinestones on 4 of her nails but with no gel. I get that gel makes the rhinestones more secure but why give certain people a choice & then force others to get gel? I guess I'll be heading back to my old salon again. High quality manicures that are DURABLE and the ability to have just about any design you want on your nails makes Nu Nu Nails really hard to beat. I've been long in search of a good, quality place to go for years and I'm so glad I finally came across this salon. They offer gel AND dip powder manicures plus a full range of acrylic styles. I had an appointment this morning and I was waiting OUTSIDE in the cold for 25 mins ! So they are 25 mins late and on top of that she wouldnt let me sit inside. The Mexican lady wouldn't let me know and said I had to wait outside. I been going to this place for months and evertime I go I spend at least 120 dollars. Everyone is really friendly here and the place seems to be clean from what I see. I've been to three nail stylists. Tom and Nu Nu so far are really good at shaping nails and will make sure they are good before you walk out. It seems to be that Nu Nu and her sister Amy are pretty popular among the customers. One thing I will say that I've experienced with everyone is how they treat my cuticles. When filing I've been cut almost every time and my cuticles do hurt a few days after I leave this place. Over the summer, I started coming here for pedicures. The place is clean and put together and reasonably priced which I like. You have to really tell them how you want your nails and they will do that for you. I like my nails to be cut and shaped a certain way and they really "nailed" it. I love the color selection they have available as well as the gel color. After the summer I proceeded to go there to get a gel manicure and I was very pleased with the results. The only complaints I have is that they heat up the water way too much for your pedicure and they scrub too hard. Other than that, I really can't complain.
